Hotel Milan Costa Rica

I have stayed at the Milan regularly for almost 5 years. Previously I felt the value was ok, so I returned again and again. The last time I stayed was yesterday April 15th, 2026 and I have to say that I was disappointed. Trying to rest in the afternoon but unable as the staff made a ridiculous amount of noise and constant conversation. Due to the tile floors and flat surfaces, the noise is amplified and it was impossible to get the rest I desperately needed. Also, I found some of the staff uncooperative and with a bad attitude. There are many choices in this neighborhood ans I will choose an alternative hotel. It is a shame that customer loyalty doesnt count anymore

This was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And it wasn’t just normal street noises. The design of the hotel is such that some rooms have a window into the lobby. Guests and staff sat at the lobby tables (right outside our random window) talking loudly all night. Light from the lobby also poured in through the semi-sheer curtains. It was odd. And even with earplugs, it was unbearably loud. Also, be warned, there is NO PARKING at the hotel and not much safe overnight parking nearby.

Breakfast good. Old v. soiled linens need replacement ASAP. Noisy!
