The swimming pool and hot tub were so disgusting the pool and hot tub overflowing the water was dirty hair everywhere

Ice machine was down, there were never towels in the pool/hot tub area the cable went out wound up leaving a night early.

My stay was alright for the most part. Very clean rooms. The only complaints I have is that the bath tub was plugged up in my room and the pool was pretty foggy. Seems like they don’t keep up with the pool. Also there was a point where I asked for towels and I was never acknowledged or given said towels.

It’s a newer property in a decent area however that’s where the positive side comes to an end. The staff was moderately nice however when I brought up issues it seemed to fall on deaf ears. The pool was cloudy, and foam accumulating in the hot tub. Our room was just over the pool, I believe room 230. You could feel the heat radiating from the indoor pool, there was a musty smell that over took the space. The tiles to the floor were loose because the grouting was coming apart, they appear to be moldy too.

Nice common area, patio, pool. Furniture in room could use cleaning, felt grungy. Carpet in hallways well worn, a few holes. Comfortable bed.

The breakfast is going down hill fast.The eggs were over cooked and rubbery,unable to eat.The juice machine was not working, therefore no water.The ice machine on 3and4 was not working.I was on 4th floor.

I was so disappointed this stay :/ pool was flooding, no towels at all, not even for rooms. Night staff was on their phone and attitude to help was not there. Day staff was friendly. Breakfast staff was not friendly at all. No juice. Halls and room were dirty:/ just overall disappointing

Room was good, front desk person was approachable, breakfast was OK....what i disliked is, there was all kinds of ppl in the hotel pool area that I am sure did not have a room! we got to room decided to let the little ones swim i came to a full on what seemed party hot tub had intoxicated adults, the opposite corner was a couple with a loud music speaker & a 12 pack beer box with cooler, then they left for more alcohol another set showed up 2 couples full on pda & drinking to where the pool was really crowed....some these kids with no manners nor parents trying to correct them, as soon as we walked in they took my little ones beach ball & pool noodles, we made a run to store to get them water toys, shoot one lady seemed bothered i asked for my stuff back, i witnessed 2 vehicles show up in the short hour of using pool that the ppl that were there called over.....they parked @ the hotel next to this one & run through the back door being let in of course having no key.....109% sure didnt have a room even, i paid while they enjoyed on my kids time!!!though the room was good & price was fair idk if thats the type of atmosphere is always there but I won't book here again for that matter alone, I've never been so uncomfortable

Cleanliness was aweful. Common areas, hallways, and elevators were not vacuumed or clean. Bathroom had left over hair on floor and in shower.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. This time the room was not clean. We had to wait for it to be cleaned an hour after out check in time Use to be a good stay for the price but we will mot stay here again.

Dirty floors, hair all over the bathroom floor. No toilet tissue. Blood on one of the pillows. Loud stomping noise above my room!

The staff seemed nice. The room was gross. There was hair in the shower, hair in the shower drain, hair on the floor, hair in the sink, and hair on the vanity, including the shelf underneath. Even the towels had long black hairs on them. There was actual dirt on the floor and urine stains around the toilet. Even the walls were dirty. I would've moved hotels had there been anywhere else with availability that weekend. Highly do not recommend.

This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in! Ants in the bathtub, large black hairs, all sorts of stains on the sheets and pillows, and the floor had stains and was super dirty as well. Propety was in a general state of disrepair and the service wasnt great. I switched rooms and receieved not apology for the state of my first room. The second room wasnt any better. Stay somewhere else!!!

Checking in was great, they were nice and polite. The rooms on the other hand were dirty, and the sheets had stains. We told the front and they didn't even give us new sheets. I had a two-night stay but didn't even stay a second night. It was that bad.

I’ve booked with Expedia for 15+ years, and I’m not a hotel snob by any means, but this hotel is absolutely filthy. Trash overflowing in the hallways, toothpaste on the mirrors in the bathroom, tub disgusting, pistachio shells on the carpets, no proper air conditioning, bedding stained (hope it was a stain!) and the carpets were so dirty I wouldn’t take off my shoes. For a chain that’s usually great, you can tell this franchise location is poorly ran to say the least. I immediately called Expedia - will spare you the details but I ended up losing two nights hotel, as they basically said they were at the mercy of the hotel. There are too many travel sites to settle for this type of service, especially considering this was the first time I needed help after being a customer for so many years. Disappointing experience overall. But if you take anything away, spend the extra $30 a night and go to the lovely La Quinta next door.

The hotel looks great on the outside but the inside was filthy and old. Our toilet ran all night and the A/C wouldn't stay on. It was a huge disappointment and we only stayed 1 of the 2 nights we booked.

DO NOT STAY HERE - This place may look pretty in these photos, but the rooms were poorly kept and not clean. I got to my room and though it was 11:00 p.m., you could hear everything that was happening upstairs and next to you. I immediately tried to temper this mild issue with turning on my tv. The remote was so dirty, I tried to use a cleaning clothe to remove the red and brown gravy stains on it. I eventually put the ice machine clear plastic cover around it. While looking for the cleaning clothe in the bathroom I saw the towels were thin and some were see through. Very used. The carpet on floor separated from the tile at the threshold and had a gap. There were burn holes and dead bugs on the carpet. It was so late I sat down on one bed and found hair on the bed that was not the color of mine. By then I just went to the other bed and figured I could talk about these issues. When i woke up in the morning and opened the windows I turned around and saw how the room really looked. The headboard had gum on the top of it and caked dirt. It had a hole between the two beds for electrical. The 1' x 2' opening was caked with hair and dirt. The lamp had dirt on base. The mini fridge did not work. I left a day early, I had been there less then 9 hours, and making sure I told the front desk I was very disappointed and that I was leaving immediately. They charged me for both nights, $30 less then absolute maximum room fee. Not a good business.

I thought the hotel was very noisy at night. I could hear everything going on and other doors opening and slamming shut. There were people in the indoor pool late at night, which was no one’s fault it was just very loud and sort of chaotic. I was very underwhelmed with the breakfast. I know there were some new people training, but it was extremely underwhelming. The beds were comfortable which is important. Random input but the thermostat was next to the bed and at night it turned into a night light and it was SO BRIGHT. Blinding. I thought this was weird. The hotel also charged me double and I was annoyed that I had to resolve this issue on my own. It took 2 days and it was the hotels fault. Again, nothing was necessarily WRONG, but I did not particularly enjoy my stay. It was however, extremely inexpensive so there is probably a reason for that.

Extremely loud all around property. I unfortunately had to listen to pounding from upstairs neighbors and you could hear all activities from neighbors.

Thin walls, pool not super clean- never had towels, hot tub looked gross- didn’t get in, every time we left hotel had to have key re-done, no one ever at counter, breakfast minimal not kept up with. Other parts of hotel were clean and could smell when they cleaned. Conveniently located. Staff were nice. Room was nice, just couldn’t keep room a consistent temperature.

Our stay was really good. Very nice hotel. The only thing we didn’t like were the pillows on the bed. They were too soft! Had trouble sleeping on them.

The beds were comfortable. Operating the TV took a little of time, but I was able to figure it out. I like that body wash is included with the shampoo and conditioner, as most of the soaps are small at hotels. Check-in was easy too.

The staff was not very friendly upon check in or when we had questions. The signal for the internet was unstable, making it hard to get work done. The TV signal was out a large portion of the weekend. It was like pulling teeth to make sure that there were enough towels and blankets in the room. Not impressed and sadly won’t be returning.

For a Country Inn & Suites, this has to be one of my favorites. Very modern and clean interior that looks very professional. The breakfast room is large and even has a hangout room with a large tv and magazines. The front desk lady seemed new or shy but was still very nice. A couple of issues: the shower had low water pressure, heavy and loud doors, paper thin walls, a couple breakfast items missing. All of the minor hotel issues I can deal with but this was my first time in Lubbock and probably my last. Had some scary situations in town and when we went to unwind in the hotel, it seemed the ruckus follows. All full paying customers - sure - but it did not seem safe to be around anyone or outside my room. I guess I should pay for a more expensive and remote hotel next time.

This was my first time staying at this hotel and probably my last. The building itself looked nice, but once I got into the room, things went downhill. The first thing I noticed was the stained carpet and chair. The carpet was also frayed around the edges, which didn’t give the best impression. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable; it felt like sleeping on rocks. I woke up sore every morning, to the point that I actually cut my trip short (and I was visiting my new grandson!) just so I could get back to my own bed. I was excited to see a rain shower head in the bathroom, but that excitement faded quickly when barely any water came out due to clogged holes. On top of that, there was no conditioner in the wall dispenser. That seems like something that should be routinely checked when cleaning the room. I wouldn’t call myself bougie, but I do expect a basic level of comfort and cleanliness when staying at a hotel. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t meet that mark.

Hotel staff was friendly. Few things in room need attention. Phone didn’t work, water pressure is really bad and the tub didn’t drain well. Beds were comfortable and space was nice. Overall I would stay again but in hopes maintenance is done in restrooms.

Staff went over and above to accommodate my requests and needs (handicapped brother but I had some large bicycles we needed secured with in and out availability). Rooms were clean, and comfortable and the desk staff was available even at 5 am. Breakfast was good and location was convenient.

Upon arrival, I was met by the gentleman working front desk. During the check in process, I had explained several times I left my card back home but I had it in my apple wallet (the hotel accepts Apple Pay). He was wanting a physical card to put on the room for any charges or damages. While I understand this policy, my issue lies in his response when I said I would call my husband to bring the physical card. His response was “I think that’s a great idea”. That response ruined majority of my experience and I didn’t even feel comfortable staying there but we did since we had already paid for the room. I already had a weird experience with, I imagine the same person since it was a couple hours apart, when I returned a call to the hotel and he acted like I was bothering him that I called him back when he didn’t leave a voicemail, explaining the reason for his call. Please do better with staff/Human Resources training. I already work a male dominated field. I don’t need that when I’m on vacation too. For management purposes: we checked in around 11pm on December 27th.

This is our second time staying at this location and has now been deemed our preferred hotel when we travel to Lubbock to visit our son who attends school at Texas Tech University. The bed was a little firm for my liking but it served its purpose. The TV situation was a little wonky but that’s not the fault of the hotel. My kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was pretty good (many waffles were made and consumed), the fruit that was available was fresh and delicious as well. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. I was very pleased that they called to verify we were still coming for our reservation because we weren’t arriving until 1am. We had experienced a big headache with another hotel before because they didn’t call and even though I noted that we would be checking in late they gave our room away and charged us still so it was very much appreciated.

Everything was good but they tried to throw away my vape

Bad customer services Natalie the front receptionist was very rude. Looking at the reviews it seems I'm not the only person that thinks they are lacking good customer service and cleanliness. From how I was greeted, I just knew the hotel was going to be bad.The room was nasty. The bed was hard with dirty sheets. I found a vape by the bed so glad my kids did not find it first. The carpet was ripped and old with hair and crumbs all over and the pull out sofa had white powder substance builded up on the mattress. Also, the hallway and elevators are just as bad. This place needs to shut down for a day and do a deep cleaning with some repairs. I do not recommend this hotel. Too bad I did not look at the reviews before booking. They are accurate!!!

our room was given to someone else after we checked in. they were sold out and it was handled very poorly!! I wanted to stay only one night instead of 2 and the hotel would not approve it!! Completely ridiculous !! How do you stay in business with such terrible customer service!!!

The gentleman the greeted us is amazing! There was a long line to check in, and although he kept the line moving, he was super friendly, gave everyone the information about the pool and breakfast. Super friendly the next day when I said hi. Also, my room had no hairdryer. O called the front desk and the girl was so nice. She explained that they were being stolen. She would send one up. Someone knocked on the door within a minute.

This hotel was dirty and terrible with communication. We checked out after one night and they still charged us for four nights despite us confirming that we would be refunded for the three days we did not stay there. Words cannot express how unhappy we were at this hotel and this entire experience. Please do not stay here.

If you are looking for a good place to stay I could recommend Country Inn but is not a Radisson standard hotel. Great location among other hotels in the area plus lots of resturants close by.

We have been here before. Always a nice place and this is also a great location. We enjoy staying here. It is a quiet place.

I liked it all was close to hospital

It is a new hotel. The night staff working was super nice. The breakfast could use some work. There was no one to attend the area. There was no coffee and heaps of used creamer. There were no napkins, not enough food and we there early.

There for a couples getaway and visiting family. Noisy weekend due to boys baseball team running around property. No shampoo in the shower, shower curtain too short for tub, and door was awkward. Breakfast had no eggs and no one ever refilled, waffle mix too thick and only 1 waffle maker.

Floors had not been cleaned. Bathroom linens were dingy, could use bleach in the laundry. Breakfast was the same exact food each morning and was not at proper temperature.

Stayed a month ago, it was very nice, clean. Today, the sheets had not been changed on one bed and the room smelled like a locker room. Staff allowed alcohol and loud music in the pool area. The spa had brown foam in it. Trash and previous guest clothes laying around. Breakfest, was available until 6:35 (On a Monday). Several guest waiting. The biscuits were very cold, the gravy looked like it was leftover from the previous day (dried on the sides of the crockpot and what was there had been watered down). Water came out of the machine for orange juice. Fresh fruit was good! Will look for another place to stay next time 😔

The property is well-maintained and the room was quite nice with a separate living area with a second TV, which is very convenient if there are two of you. The breakfast was excellent with eggs and potatoes and other things much more than some hotels offer. Very friendly staff.

Clean friendly breakfast was a little lacking but over all great

Room and service were excellent but breakfast was a total letdown. Biscuits were as hard as a rock and gravy was ice cold. Juice was basically watered down juice

I like that it was clean and close to the even we were at for regionals. Downfall, i feel like the walls were too thin, we could hear conversations through the walls/vents. The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. Nothing extravagant, they had eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, bagles, muffins, toast. It did the job, and cant complain there.

Easy check-in. The room wasn’t all that clean. The staff wasn’t all that helpful and breakfast was not that great. It was a good price so I will try it again.
