An excellent place to stay. The place is peaceful and quiet. I love the cleanliness the whole house but most especially our washroom. It is very pleasant and comfortable to use. Clean and tidy. Friendly host. We requested 2 more pillows and we got them from host in a short while. Some light bulbs were gone in bathroom but still ok because of natural sunlight from roof window. We experienced some difficulties to turn on the TV, we reported to the host immediately but the problem cannot be solved. Anyway, our stay in better bed is OK. Good location, friendly host with reasonable price.

To my surprise this was a B & B. Bed was clean & comfortable, the shower was nice. TV in room had no channels. In the morning I made coffee, milk was sour. Breakfast was a box of cereal with a couple apples on the table. Good points, clean & comfortable. Bad points, no tv, no real breakfast, very little service once we were given our room we never saw the owner again.

I was surprised that the room did not have an ensuite. I was under the impression the bathroom was part of the bedroom area but it was not, so we had to go outside of the room to use the bathroom area. The TV was too low to view and streaming did not work so we were unable to watch anything due to bad connectivity. On a plus side, the owners were nice and accommodating and check in was easy.

When we arrived at the place, it turned out to be a large home in an area with many similar large homes! The photos in Expedia did not show the outside of the building... This home had 3 rental rooms upstairs while the host lived downstairs with his family. The room we had, suite 1, was pretty small. On the plus side, the host was very nice. Room issues: 1. There is only one night table, no room for a second one; as a result, there is a reading light on only one side of the bed 2. There is a small and very uncomfortable upholstered chair: it is very low and has a metal bar that pushes on your rear end 3. The very small desk is made from glass; I was worried about breaking it when I put my laptop on it 4. The rolling chair for the desk doesn't roll 5. The room was warm. The fan was a bit on the noisy side at like speed. As we were there in early June, no A/C and a pretty weak fan means the room would be uncomfortably hot in the summer 6. Quiet hours are 23:00 to 07:00. No early morning showers! 7. When I went to bed, I saw a blue light under the bed. I unplugged it so I could see start it was. "Pest repeller" was printed on the cover. I hope there aren't any bedbugs! 8. No night light so I couldn't see to go to the bathroom at night. I had to hang on to the bed a lot

Room is large, upstairs, no A/C so during hot days it was quite unbearable to sleep at night despite a fan being provided. At certain times, it can be noisy from the surrounding and also neighbouring rooms, footsteps, sound from walls etc etc. My sleep was interrupted a few times in my 7 day stay. Light sleepers beware.

We ran out seeing the poor condition of the property and attacking behavior of the owner. We did not stay at that property. Unarranged furniture at the entrance, no parking place, weird 'no shoes' inside the property policy, will not allow to check the room, weird and cunning behavior of the owner of the property; horrible experience.

Did not realize this was in a residential / private home. Photos when I booked very misleading as we walk everywhere - LONG walk to get to the places the photos showed. Accommodating for taking our luggage early, but not welcoming, drop off luggage and leave, no place to stay. VERY noisy both evenings - screaming/yelling, doors slamming Only 2 bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths Would not stay here again.

Carl was AMAZING. The room was clean and well-kept. Carl was VERY friendly. Very attentive to all needs. Communicates well and timely. He assisted me with navigating the city and was VERY accommodating. He went out of his way to be helpful. I would DEFINITELY stay there again.

it was clean BUT I hated it for the following reasons: 1/ Constant monitoring from the proprietor (with cameras), He literally came out to check on us every time we entered the building. My son came to visit and decided to stay overnight. We did not ask for anything extra, but this had extra charges. The room has only one towel per person (whether bathing or drying hands). So apparently the use of an extra towel (which we didn't ask for), costs $30 extra per night. 2/ Intrusive rules like "no food or drink in your room", "no shoes". Will never stay there again and do not recommend.

It was quite easy to reach using public transport. It is in a lovely residential area so very quiet and no traffic. The Host is friendly and kind. I had brought my own food but there is coffee and cereal and fruit and juice so one could have breakfast right here!

We stayed in this property for one night. It was clean, the communication was really good, and he was helpful. The rooms are on the second floor, so you have to be able to take your luggage to the room. He has a common area to have coffee and tea and a little refrigerator. I think you are not allowed to eat in your room. We checked out early, but we were able to leave the luggage there and come back later. We took Uber to the place and then to the airport, and both ways were about $31. It was good in general.

The hotel was clean and the owner was accomidating You had to take your shoes off when you entered and there were quiet times No showering etc It is in a very residential area If you do not have a car it was very inconvienent to find food They provided basically none.

This was my second stay at Better Bed and as expected, the service, room, and hospitality was great. The host makes the check-in easy and seamless. Once you arrive to your room you'll notice its clean and comfortable. The room gets a lot of natural light, especially in the morning given the position of the home. The amenity room has great things such as a dining area, microwave, fridge, coffee, table, and more. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't regret it.
