The FIDI Hotel

Breakfast, elevators, AC, room cleanliness, all good. However, the majority of their staff is younger and on their phones and seemed bothered when they were out of coffee or needing a printout from the reservation. Only other challenge: I don’t need much but the rooms are tiny, there is no closet or anywhere to hang and the bathroom does not have anywhere to keep a small bathroom bag. It’s just really small.

Very nice hotel, good location, helpful perosnel.

This hotel is a reasonable choice for lodging in the financial district considering the high cost of other options in the area. The staff is very good. While the rooms are on the small side, they are very clean, well maintained and the bathrooms are up to date/modern and everything functions well. The room temp. was responsive and effective, this is not always a given even in expensive hotels. The continental breakfast could use a bit of an upgrade, limited choices & coffee just warm, not hot. I realize there other breakfast options nearby, however self serve cafeteria style seems a bit austere for a decent hotel in NYC. The layout of this hotel is unusual, no real lobby. Otherwise this is a good option in this area and one I would consider again when in town.

The place was really nice..but didn’t expect the room to be so small, other than that it was great for a 48 hr stay

Nice breakfast, higher quality that usual croissants, pastries, hotel price was right, near lots of subway stops, downtown has a lot of history. The entrance for the mobility impaired is hard to find. There’s really no place to work. The work space in my room was useless and there’s no space with sofas, coffee tables, etc. It’s a design failure. Breakfast room had no charging areas for computers.
