Great room. Brand new bathroom. Great view of the river. How could it be improved? I would have loved an exercise room. With a treadmill. They didn't advertise one so i can't complain. But it is the most expensive place to stay in the area, so it should have a little more than just clean rooms and nice views, in my opinion.

From the minute I walked in, the staff was amazing! Very friendly. Informative. The property was beautiful the room immaculate. Parking right outside my door.I fell in love with the store they have. A great stay! This was my first trip to Maine, it will definitely not be the last. Looking forward to bringing the family next time around.

Hotel was recently renovated. Our room was clean and newly updated with frig, microwave, and a beautiful view of the river. (Most, if not all rooms, have this view.) Grounds are well maintained. Enjoyed sitting on Adirondack chairs in the back. Great hotel!!

This inn has been updated and is very modern. The rooms were clean, well appointed and no carpet!! The view of the river is beautiful! The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We are looking forward to staying here again.

We checked in after hours and the process they had set up was fairly easy. However, since the check in was after hours, we were not able to point out to the staff that one of the bed comforters had spots on them which looked like dried blood. The next morning at check out, I brought this to the attention of the person at the service desk. I showed them the pictures of the comforter and they took my information down and said the manager will be giving me a call. It’s been over a week since my stay and I still have not heard from the manager. This is unprofessional business etiquette.

Newly renovated, beautiful view of the river, friendly staff, comfy beds, amazing restaurant (Helen's) in the same parking lot. Only complaints were: The pillows (too firm, woke up multiple times because of this, woke up with a stiff neck/muscle spasms) There's no desk or even a table to use for computer and no chairs upstairs on the deck to use outside. On the 2nd floor, the balcony is one long deck so people walk by your room. Make sure your sliding door is locked! No privacy on the balcony obviously.

This place is really wonderful. The room was very nice, the beds comfty and the view of the river was beautiful. We happened to come after a pipe problem that made all the water rusty for hours. My family was in need of showers since they had come off of a 6 day bike trip. It was pouring rain. We thought about leaving to find another hotel (only one other around there). Shannon, the front desk person was very helpful. I told her we might need to leave or would like a credit. She called the owner and gave us the night free which was so nice. After running the water for several hours it finally ran clear. We went out and bought water to drink. Eventually the showers were taken after an excellent meal at Helen's, a restaurant on the premises. All in all, it was a really nice place and we all said we would come again if in the area.

We enjoyed the comfortable beds and view of the river. Pleasant experience checking in. However, check out time is 10:30 and the staff knocked on our door at 9:30 to see if we were still there. Otherwise it was nice.

Room was very clean and staff were great. We couldn’t get the TV to work and after working on it for a few minutes staff moved us to an adjacent room. That room had 2 doubles instead of 2 queens - but that wasn’t that big of a deal

We had a clean, spacious room with two large beds and a beautiful river view outside our sliding doors in back. The sheets were crisp and the bathroom was very clean, with plenty of hot water for our showers. The restaurant across the parking lot served an excellent dinner. The inn’s gift shop is a great bonus! We will certainly stay here again.
