The property was in the perfect location for an early morning flight out of Richmond. The shuttle runs to accommodate most flights, and the shuttle drivers at night (Todd?) and in the early morning (woman who organizes breakfasts) were super friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and well designed, and it was quiet.

For the cost of the room, I expected a little more of an upscaled experience. The lobby/dining area was very hot, almost as if the AC was not working properly. The indoor pool was advertised as heated, and it was not, and was pretty dirty. There was parking in the back of the property, as there were limited spots in front due to nearby hotel construction, but none of the side doors worked with a key card as they should. It made unloading our bags from our car pretty inconvenient. Our room was nice and spacious, but I just expected more.

Hotel and breakfast was great. Safe, clean, good service. convenient to airport, good price. I guess it can't be helped, but all the construction outside made it a little inconvenient to get into the parking area, but, again, the price of improvements I guess.

The suite was the best one we've had in a long time! Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool was also great. Breakfast was pretty standard. What made this stay excellent was the customer service. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaners and breakfast staff were so pleasant, engaging, and helpful. Definitely will stay again when we are in the area!

The surrounding area of this property had a lot of construction going on which made the parking lot look sketchy getting into. The overall stay and property was decent. The rooms are nice, but the doors shut VERY loudly. Shuttle service was okay but we made a reservation for 4am and there was no room for us at that time which delayed us to getting to the airport. The front desk was also having a hard time seeing the 3rd party bookings so check in wasn’t smooth. Would stay again if we needed to be by the airport though.

First room smelled uncleanly, like gym socks and body odors, replacement room had loud vibrating through the walls that kept me up all night. Would not recommend and feel deceived as to the condition of the property. Parking lot and property was under construction as well never mentioned to me.

Quiet and well kept property. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a typical continental fare but good. Coffee was not so good though. Only dislike was the outdoor seating was literally in the back parking lot with no ambiance at all.

The staff were friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean and well maintained, but for the following points. There are not enough electrical outlets by the bed for things like CPAP machines. The air conditioner did not keep the room at a steady cool temperature and would make occasional noises. Lastly, the water pressure was extremely poor annd disappointing and I would expect better from this brand. We were still happy with our stay but just expect better from this brand and price point.

Everyone we talked to there was very pleasant and the room was very nice. We stayed in room 212 right next to the elevator which I wouldn't ever use again due to the constant noise from some kind of blower or machinery running around the clock. that room should be used for storage or utility. Loud enough to keep you awake. Other than that Fairfield Inn was just fine.

ZERO, AS IN NOT ONE outlet near the bed! REALLY???? Luckily I had an extension cord but what are the people who have CPAP’S supposed to do? Really unbelievable in 2024!!! Comfortable bed and nice shower with good pressure. Breakfast not so much, no bread just bagels! Really? Bad waffle maker. Just a basic but below average breakfast but they can do better.

The best part of the stay was Jerome, the airport shuttle driver. He went above and beyond to help us get a rental car, even when availability of vehicles looked bleak. He was friendly and helpful, offering the best customer service possible.

I arrived at 8:15p to check in. The power went out at 10:30p. Not a big deal, but an inconvenience nonetheless. I went to talk to the front desk, and they said they were getting off and the new shift was coming on. It was late so I tried to go to sleep. I was unable to sleep well due to the staleness of the room and rising temperature. When I woke up sweaty for the next day, I was unable to shower because the power was still out. I was unable to eat the breakfast, which was a determining factor of buying this room. So I left stinky and hungry to work all day. When I checked out, I asked how I was to be compensated for these inconveniences, and the girl at the desk said she had no idea. I asked to speak to a manager, and they were nowhere to be found. My problem is not that the power went out, or the inconveniences it incurred. It is the mismanagement of something like this. It has been three days, and still no answer. I basically paid 200 to live like a homeless person, and management couldn’t care less apparently.

This was an overnight stay. I booked this hotel because of the airport shuttle. I called the day before to advise of the late arrival. Our flight arrived at 11:05 pm, and the shuttle stopped at 11 pm, so we had to get a $20usd taxi. I know it is a late check in, but if you work in the hospitality industry, be courteous. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was very rude. Didn't welcome us or even showed us where the room was located. Horrible attitude. The room wasn't very clean. Two dirty face towels, dirty mirror in the bathroom, the toilet paper was almost finished and they didn't put a new one. If check in starts at 3pm there was plenty of time to clean after the previous guest. I regret I didn't take pictures, but I was too tired. Breakfast was good, but please clean the hot water pot. I just wanted plain hot water and it came yellow. Of course will never stay here again.

It has been horrible. A couple next to my room was arguing for almost two hours and the hotel staff would do nothing but “ask them to be quiet”. Now it is 1am and I am stressed and exhausted. Horrible service and environment and the parking lot doesn’t have enough spaces so I had to walk through a pothole ridden area from a construction zone. A refund would be nice but it wouldn’t give me back my peace and sleep I am losing. Will literally NEVER come here again and will tell everyone I know to stay clear.

We got to the hotel about 8:00 pm and Michelle at the front desk was awesome. She was so welcoming and she introduced us to Dawn who was also very welcoming. We ate at the hotel lounge and the lady was very nice, attentive to everyone. Very friendly environment.

I read reviews before I booked at this hotel even though it was a last minute booking due to an airport delay. The reviews mentioned that the staff was so great and I agree. From my first phone call inquiring about their airport shuttle, to the shuttle pickup, drop off the next morning and the folks at the front desk --everybody was so great! I only got one name, Michelle, but I wanted to make sure she was recognized. They were so caring and even asked about our well-being after we got caught in the rain! Bonus: It's a great location next to walkable restaurants.

Very Quite, Clean upgraded room, very polite, professional, friendly and very caring staff, they make you feel at home. The breakfast served was so good, coffee very hot not just lukewarm. I love this hotel, I will surely stay there next time, and highly recommended.

Parking lot construction. Breakfast was not close to Fairfield standards. Oatmeal bar had all the fruits and nuts, but no oatmeal except Quaker instant oats which are already over sweetened and NOT oats. Coffee was out the entire time I was trying to enjoy breakfast.

The people was nice but the room was dirty and i called down to the front desk to have someone come and vacuum they never came so i found housekeeping and they came to clean up. The free breakfast wasn't that great. They could have benefitted from a extra waffle machine the wait time was very long because they only had one machine.
