Room had been recently renovated, so it was fine. Old motel, 1950's I am guessing, so it probably had a "full" or "double" sized bed, in the beginning, and so was spacious. back then. Two queens kind of filled it up, but we managed fine. The pictures on line are of places you can drive to, not the property itself. Attached restaurant by the same name is struggling with new management and new employees, but adequate.

Room was clean and quiet. We came in with a 26' uhaul and there was parking and enough room to maneuver. Staff was very friendly and always accommodating.

We love stopping to eat at the oasis restaurant when ever we travel thru Raton for the last 30 years but have never stayed at the motel till this week as we are usually pulling an RV. The motel looks aged but the interior is awesome with kingsize ,comfortable bed and really nice furniture. The bathroom could use a little updating but hey, everything worked well and the hot water was quick. Plus you can walk about 50 steps and have a great meal that’s well frequented by the locals. Would recommend this motel to friends and family and will be staying there again. Another plus is that it is pet friendly.

Fun blast from the past for us. Dog friendly! Nice big grass area. So quiet, slept well. Direct TV and room was so clean! All the extras like air conditioning, iron, microwave, (no refrigerator) but plugs in nightstand were a plus. Love free parking right in front of our door. ;) Cute retro cafe run by family on property. Hours 7 am-8pm was wonderful. Great homemade French fries hit the spot after long drive. Cute motor hotel from the past remodeled to be comfortable and price was a breath of fresh air!! Also nice to have personal customer service from such nice people (not AI)

The Oasis motel is a very old building that badly needs to be refurbished. All of the woodwork, doors, windows, flooring need to be refinished, painted, or replaced. I picked this motel because it advertised level two charging for electric vehicles. Upon arrival I found the two chargers were nonfunctional. I tried to cancel my stay, but the owner refused. We went ahead and stayed anyway so as not to waste our payment. The bed was okay, and the room was clean. The staff were excellent. The food in the motel restaurant was good although limited to typical diner fare. Unless the chargers are fixed, I would not stay here again.

Our room was clean and ready. Only complaints were not their fault. Had people in room next door that had car trouble and constantly worked on it thru the night. NOISY! Only other comment was there are no coffee pots in the room.

The staff I interacted with were friendly, and I really wanted to like this place because it’s got vintage charm, but the bed had a really gross mystery stain on it that should at least be covered if they can’t replace it, and I had a cockroach crawl across my pillow when I laid down to go to sleep.

The room we stayed at had THE MOST DISGUSTING BATHROOM I’VE SEEN IN A HOTEL. Black mold, pink mold - you name it - it had it all in every seem, shower curtain and on the wall. The bed had the thinnest bed sheet as a cover. One of the queen beds had bunch of black human hair in it under covers. Bathroom mirror had toothpaste splashes all over it. In what world you let people enter a facility like that let alone charge money for it??

We had a pleasant stay in our room in this vintage mom and pop motel founded in the 50s. It was very quiet even though on the main road through town. the room was clean and comfortable at a good rate. The Oasis Diner on site is a plus. Good home cooking at great prices. The servers there are attentive and friendly.

All the rooms were vacant except one, besides us. Staff was very friendly. Checked in an hour early. Had a power outage on the morning of check-out that lasted a few hours. No problems whatsoever. Definitely recommend.

This place is a dump. My room smelled like a rotten peach or something and I finally found an old dank air freshener behind the nightstand and I threw it outside. When I turned on the air conditioner to circulate some air, the unit rattled so bad, but I didn’t call the manager, Frank, because he had been so rude at checkin I didn’t want to deal with him again. I don’t expect much when I’m traveling single and staying at a bargain motel, but the Oasis is not good at any price.

This place is ridiculous!!! The waitstaff runs everything, since the manager is completely absent. We had set up reservations and when we got there after driving 12 1/2 hrs, only to find a sign that said cash or check only taped to the door. They couldn\'t run a credit card or anything but the next day they were sure happy to "run" it then and steal our money. No one was there that could authorize a cancellation when Hotels called them. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!?

Upon arrival and on the road for 10 hrs we could not get in to our room. Motel office close and no one answered when I was calling. Worst experience I have ever had, I should not be charged for this. Also this motel shouldn’t be part of Expedia network or next time we will book through another site.. really bad customer service or no customer service at all!!

There was no one to check me in! I waited 10 minutes for the waitress at the diner to go thru printed reservations. Finding none, she called someone several times who didn’t pick up & said she’d check again. I waited 10 minutes before leaving. Drove 25 minutes to Trinidad, CO, booked a room there, checked in, then went out for a meal. Several hours later I got a phone call about my reservation. How long did they expect me to stand around? There’s no water anywhere near the roadside motel that I could see.

The fact that they spell their name Botque should have been a clue. Their first picture if rhe priperty is missleading . Their is no lake anywhere near it. The grounds are littered. The motel is old and shows it. Uncovered switch plate!

First, the thumbnail photo of the lake is very misleading. There are no majestic views to be had here. The staff was friendly enough, and things were clean, but the facilities themselves were pretty dated and falling apart in some places. Rotting baseboards, holes in the towels, that sort of thing. Raton isn't a huge town and I think the owners are doing the best they can, but beware if these kinds of things bother you. The diner wasn't bad and the servers were friendly.

The hotel presents itself as a hotel but it is roadside motel. Windows and doors are not secure. Screen door does not close. The room has strong smells. They have tried to update furniture, but put in a crappy room. The bed is comfortable. Hopefully nobody will get in my room due to security. Pictures in the posting is inaccurate. There is no pond or lake near the MOTEL. I hope expedia addresses my concerns and somehow I get reimbursed for a room that should have cost no more than $50.

this property claims to be pet friendly but when they saw that I came with the dog I was given what I was told was the only unit available for me Despite the fact that I was the only guest staying there on a Monday night. About 30 minutes after I arrived the place was completely deserted no front desk staff no phone number to reach someone in an emergency and that's when I discovered no one gave me the Wi-Fi password. I had assumed it would be posted in the room. It's a dingy, poorly maintained facility next door to undeveloped land strewn with trash that survives due to its popular café. I highly discouraged anyone from picking this motel.

We had a pleasant stay in our room in this vintage mom and pop motel founded in the 50s. It was very quiet even though on the main road through town. the room was clean and comfortable at a good rate. The Oasis Diner on site is a plus. Good home cooking at great prices. The servers there are attentive and friendly.

Very big room and quiet. We know the area is struggling and we hope that some repairs and updates will be affordable for them in the future. Restaurant has very tasty food and we can see the locals are helping keep the business open. Quite busy.

We love stopping to eat at the oasis restaurant when ever we travel thru Raton for the last 30 years but have never stayed at the motel till this week as we are usually pulling an RV. The motel looks aged but the interior is awesome with kingsize ,comfortable bed and really nice furniture. The bathroom could use a little updating but hey, everything worked well and the hot water was quick. Plus you can walk about 50 steps and have a great meal that’s well frequented by the locals. Would recommend this motel to friends and family and will be staying there again. Another plus is that it is pet friendly.

Fun blast from the past for us. Dog friendly! Nice big grass area. So quiet, slept well. Direct TV and room was so clean! All the extras like air conditioning, iron, microwave, (no refrigerator) but plugs in nightstand were a plus. Love free parking right in front of our door. ;) Cute retro cafe run by family on property. Hours 7 am-8pm was wonderful. Great homemade French fries hit the spot after long drive. Cute motor hotel from the past remodeled to be comfortable and price was a breath of fresh air!! Also nice to have personal customer service from such nice people (not AI)
