We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights with 2 teen boys. It is a beautiful hotel and we had such nice views from our balcony. From the moment we got there we were greeted by Stacy, who went over and beyond for us to make sure our stay exceeded our expectations. Which, she did. Even though it is a pet friendly hotel, it is very clean and service was great. They even offer free beer/wine during certain hours during the day. There were only a few negative points that we have (but they don't outweigh the positives). We would totally stay here again. The negatives - the outdoor pool was very small and the water was cloudy. Walls in the hotel were thin, you had to pay for parking - $20 a day. That was basically it. I also thought it was very nice that they shuttle you to the beach. You get 2 chairs and an umbrella as well. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay!

My family and I stayed for 3 nights. The property was OKAY. The only thing I didn’t like was the appearance of the shower. I see why the hotel pics don’t show the bathroom at all. I feel like this place makes enough money to have their grout clean which was yellow and black. The outdoor pool was great for the kids and the complimentary water taxi to Secrets was nice.

Pros: Love the location, within walking distance to the beach, but boardwalk is a bit farther down. Love that dogs are welcomed and stay for free, Love they have the year round pool and then after April, the seasonal outside pool and bar area Also enjoyed sitting out in the small beach area that opens into the ocean and can relax in the wooden lounge chairs and put your feet in the cool sand. Definitely try to book the ocean view rooms as it's so relaxing to sit out in the balcony and great views and sounds to wake up and fall asleep to. Cons: 1. Elevators seem they need servicing because they make some very loud, worrisome mechanical sounds. 2. Also if you have an EV, there are only 2 chargers in the front right side but only 1 was working and unfortunately some guests will hold the working one most of the night until checkout, front desk was aware of the issue but did let management know they need to fix as so many have EV's and they should really consider adding 2 more chargers. 3. The offer a breakfast but the food is pretty expensive, you would be better off driving down a few blocks to Burger King or McDonald's which are right next to each other. There are a lot of food spots along the Coastal Hwy that's in front of Aloft. Overall Aloft is a wonderful place to stay as it's affordable and located in a nice spot

Aloft was a great 2 day getaway for our family. You walk in and right off the bat it just has a cool vibe, you forget you’re in a hotel and feel more like a resort. The pool was great for the kids, and the bar there made some great drinks. There is a private beach next to pool to kayak in the bay or paddle board. The rooms were clean, comfortable, the balcony overlooking the bay provided a great view. The shuttle service from the hotel to beach was so convenient, and the worry of trying to find a place to park at the beach was not even a thought becasue of the shuttle. It runs whenever you want a ride to and from. The area of the hotel is in a prime spot near many restaurants, mini golf, ice cream and only 15 mins from the inlet and the rides at the boardwalk. We will definitely be back and this will be our spot.

Parking was terrible. You end up parking far and having to walk. Not worth the mandatory $20 a day parking fee. All the USB outlets were broken. It was clean but also VERY small (we had balcony with 2 queen beds).

The property was very clean and our room was very clean upon arrival. All the staff we interacted with was wonderful and really helpful. The bartender at wxyz was super nice. Only negatives was that there wasn’t any trash bags provided, we found a large black trash bag but I wish they would have picked it up and given us a new one daily. Also, we stayed in room 501 and found that the balcony table was missing and the balcony door didn’t close properly. The outside pool is pretty small and a lot of people from boats come in and out of the deck/pool. I understand that’s more business for the outdoor bar but it’s discouraging hotel guests to even utilize the pool.

What was unique was that they allow you to call for cleaning service instead of them coming everyday and you having to get ready when they come. I didn't like having to pay for breakfast. I didn't like being by the pool with the dj playing all day everyday that we were there. Other than that, we loved it!

The overall look of the hotel is nice and modern. However, our rugs in our room were dirty. We had to requeat sheets for the pullout bed three times. The hotelnis pet friendly, but no one watches their pets and apparently they can run the halls loose. If there werent dogs barking and running the halls, they were in the pool area. The pool was severely chlorinated to the point i got a chemical burn on my skin. I wont be staying there again.

Staff was very nice, checkin was fast. My concerns are, the carpet in the room was not vacuumed at all, the floor could have used some sweeping around the walls, dusting can improve. The ice holder was very dusty and they can do better with the bedding. A few spots on the pillowcases and a few spots on the sheets.

Prices are already high so the parking lot fee of $20 is unnecessary. Don't stay in room ending in 31 or higher, you will not be able to see the sunset. Rooms are clean, but the area rugs look worn & dirty. Better to get rid of these altogether or replace these rugs once a year of steam clean them. The lobby sofa looks dirty. It needs steam cleaning. The pool area is nice but pool is super crowded. Hampton Suites pool next door looked twice the size. The best part about the hotel is that they allow dogs & there's a pretty bay view to watch sunsets. The worst part is the parking lot is dirty and if that's the only places to walk dogs, they're dirty green areas. The staff needs to pick up the litter.

The hotel and staff were fantastic! My only complaint is there is a blue light on the AC vent in the room that you can’t shut off, and it’s very bright while sleeping, especially if you like to sleep in the pitch dark. The shower was a little dirty and there was slight water scum in the cracks and crevices of the glass door, but overall a good stay.

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early online and to get a room that was facing the water. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the little dining area was convenient. The shower was good and having the lighted sink area outside the bathroom was SO convenient. The only negative was trying to sleep with the electrical hum/generator noise that vibrated through the pillows. Other than that it was wonderful. Thank you "Meli"? for the spotlessly clean room.

The hotel is across from the public beach, which is convenient. However, it is not close to the boardwalk. The hotel charges guests $20 per night for parking; this is our first time being charged for parking while staying in OC and we come here almost yearly. Not sure if it is a new thing. The front desk staff was not very patient and friendly (to all guests, from what I can see), but the cleaning crew was pleasant. The room was spacious (we got a bigger room), and the hotel was relatively new and clean. However, given what I listed above, we will likely not return.

The WiFi was an issue. It seems the system cannot handled when the hotel is full. I could not get internet service while staying. Parking is bad. Not enough spots. Also due to hotel hosting a convention there was nobody in the kitchen for “other guests” to order breakfast.

Was perfect! The only suggestions to improve a stay would be a microwave in the room. The shower was large and beautiful. Some kind of shelf though would be nice to put your bath stuff on. Wish the coffee maker was a k cup as brought with us Starbucks K cups.

Our room was booked well in advance, and we were allowed to check in early. We booked a room with a balcony and ocean view. We got no balcony and an ocean view if you looked over the carport roof hard between several buildings 200 yards away. When questioned we were informed that it's first come first serve...but we were there early on a Sunday. Bedding was uncomfortable, USB plugs by the bed did not work, and we had to plug our CPAPS in with an extension cord...limited or no plugs by the bed. Extra amenities were nice, couple of free drinks, free umbrellas, towels, and chairs with transportation to the beach.

We loved staying here for our 3 night trip! Michelle was awesome! from the pleasant golf cart ride to the beach , to the free drinks and even saw her running food! The whole staff was awesome and accomadating! Clean and lots to do!

I had a terrible experience at the Aloft in Ocean City, MD. I booked my room a week in advance choosing the pay at property option. I drove 3.5 hours with my small children to arrive at the hotel and be told that they canceled my reservation and was sold out. I have never had an issue paying at the property. I was left stranded with my children. Our room was given away, I’m assuming to someone who paid on the spot. Why offer the pay at property option if you’re going to cancel the room. Horrible experience

My family and I visit Aloft this past weekend for a cheerleading competition. Customer service is hard to come by these days, Zoe the manager was very helpful and showed great empathy at my check. I couldn’t be more grateful for her. She was also doing an amazing job training the young lady at the front desk, I’m struggling to remember her name, but I strongly believe it started with a A or E. She’s off to a great start with doing amazing things at this company as well. We have competitions here every year, I will most definitely be back due to the acts of service I received doing my stay.

Beautiful hotel. Front desk staff was clueless and short with me. I felt like she really disliked having to do her job which involved just handing me a room key because I did mobile check in. Hope she cheers up. Life’s too short to be grumpy. Oh my phone in my room didn’t work either. Views of the bay are beautiful though.

We had a great stay at Aloft in Ocean City. Our room had a nice balcony on the bay side, and we had fabulous sunsets. The room was spacious, clean, modern and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel - we will definitely come back.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the little beach area on the bay, it was quiet, I was able to relax, enjoy reading. The view on the bay side was beautiful, very tranquil. The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to some good restaurants and shops.

The room was very contemporary and clean. I wished the room would’ve had a microwave instead of a community one near the elevator. Parking was expensive. Should be free. Loved the poolside bar…service was great. Front desk left something to be desired.

Came for the taco festival. Loved the hotel the staff was super friendly the place was very clean the only thing we didn’t like was there was only 1 microwave on our floor in the hall by the elevator and none in the room also the shower had no where to put any soap or personal items and no slip bar. Other than that we loved all the amenities the food and drinks down stairs where good as well. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean, friendly and fun hotel to stay in! Would completely recommend it… It is very dog friendly, the staff treated us like family. They have live music from 6 to 9 in the lobby area, which was fun. There's a beautiful view over the bay and it's close to the ocean. If you're looking for a fantastic place to eat that's about a three minute drive north, try the Longboard Café!
