Property was rather quiet which was appreciated. Felt safe and secure at all times. Many dining and shopping options as its located in Towne Center. Request a microwave if you desire 1 as they are only in suites. Also no in room safe, may be different for suites but not sure. Inclusive breakfast was simple with little variety.

They charge extra for breakfast so if I am going to pay I will go get what I want elsewhere. No microwave in the room ( a disappointment). Staff was very nice and did everything you expect. Parking sucked for a full size van with scooter lift on the back. Had to park way further away than my body was willing to walk.

They don’t clean room everyday even though websites says housekeeping everyday. Bathroom was getting flooded after every time you take shower. Bed was not comfy. I usually like Hyatt properties but they were ok not like every other time I had great experience with other properties of Hyatt.

This hotel was fine for a 2 night stay. I chose this hotel because it had very high ratings for cleanliness, however I found the hotel room to be dusty with crumbs all over the floor. It really needed a deep clean. The bed linens were heavily used and had some rips and pulls. The mattress was comfortable. You have to request a microwave or use the one in the lobby which isn't very convenient. I didn't eat the breakfast, but it looked much better than most hotel breakfasts. It's in a convenient location with a shopping center and grocery store directly across the street.

My toddlers and I enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was very good, the room was clean. I would recommend house keeping work on cleaning the shower. Such as the floor and base line. The refrigerator also seemed old and was making a lot of weird noises the first day.

My only complaint was that there was no microwave in the room. there was a posted note saying one could be delivered to room. One was delivered the next morning, but the only place to put it is on the desk and then we could no longer use that space.

Overall it was a good stay and the accommodations were a above what i would expect for the price. I do recommend requesting a room not on the highway side as traffic noise is a bit much in the very early morning and late night.

I like Hyatt Place Hotels in general because the hotels, just like this one, are modern and the rooms clean and very nice. However, the location of the room in this hotel was literally right next to and just about overhanging a very busy 6 lane road that was very noisy. Not good! In addition, this hotel particular hotel has the audacity to charge $11 for a breakfast that was Free for the SAME breakfast at a Hyatt Place Hotel I stayed at 2 weeks before in Chantilly, VA. I would recommend walking 2 doors down to the Village Inn Restaurant for a real good and tasty breakfast. Even though the condition of the hotel was excellent, I won't stay at this particular hotel again in Virginia Beach. Just a personal preference.

Upon checking in, a crib was not in our room despite being requested in advnce. It was never brought to us. The toilet didnt work the whole time. We had to open the tank after each flush and hit the flush value to make the tank fill. Despite informing the front desk, no one ever came to fix it, the entire time! We were also changed for the entire stay depsite having already paid.

What a fantastic staff; from the front desk to housekeeping and the team that takes care of the morning breakfast - nothing but smiles and asking if there was anything we needed. We felt very cared for, even though it was busy, as there was a large family gathered for a local wedding. We watched them interact with everyone. Pretty impressive.

All of the staff was great and very friendly. Our housekeeper Shanice was wonderful! So pleasant and willing to help. This young lady is definitely an asset to your property. My only issue was that it took a long time to get a microwave in our room upon request. After a second call to front desk and 43 minutes, we did get a microwave. Great hotel, just maybe they were under staffed that day. Thanks for the stay.

The best part about the property was Victor Riddick! He was the front desk / property manager He was awesome and very accommodating to our needs. We were disappointed because we booked the wrong Hyatt Place location, (we wanted the beach front location) but he was very accommodating as if it was his mistake and it wasn't. The wait staff was also very friendly and engaged with us in conversation. For this hotel to be pet friendly there were no smells or issues with pets being there. We had a great short time there. Would visit again just not sure if I would do Virginia Beach anytime soon...

I arrived and was greeted with a smile even though I didn't check in until 11pm. My room was clean and smelled fresh. All amenities were there. The dining are was clean. Their breakfast was awesome. Hot food, not cold like some places. Always enough food for everyone.

We had a minor hiccup with our room but the front desk staff and the AGM rectified the issue immediately and upgraded our room! They have a nice bar with great drinks and a variety of food options which was very convenient for the 1 or 2 nights we didn’t want to go out to eat!

Stay was great, property and rooms were clean. Even though it was full, the hotel was quiet. Staff was pleasant. There is now an $11 per person charge for the breakfast, which we didn't think was worth it, as it was the same breakfast foods as it was when it was included in your room cost, but opting out of it is easy. This hotel was lovely, we would definitely stay here again, given the opportunity! The breakfast was the only thing I would remark on as a negative experience. They need to put the dishes and cups at a lower level (they all seemed to be stored in the open upper cabinets - which looks super cute, but isn’t very accessible for shorter people such as myself). Overall, the breakfast was pretty good though, offering both hot and cold options.

The room did not have enough outlets spread about the room. All the plug ins were near the bathroom side of the room. There was one other mirror near those outlets. Not efficient for this day and age with electronic items, phones, watches, flat irons, curling irons, blow dryers, ipads. We were all clogging up the hall way to get to the bathroom trying to curl hair and put on make-up, take showers.
