Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City West

The pool was ice cold we stay at Hampton's. Across the USA but this was a bummer for Thanksgiving i was looking forward to the pool for relaxing. Also dog dodo every where.

Indoor swimming pool

Standard Hilton quality hotel, located at Ocean City. That area is vacation oriented with many places to have fun and eat. The hotel also has a nice gym and heated pool. I recommend it.

Very small and indoor pool, no outdoor poll. Would have been much better with an outdoor pool.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn Suites, Ocean City West! It was absolutely amazing! I had such a wonderful time there with my family. I feel like this hotel is the perfect getaway spot. They offer you free breaths during your stay. The amenities are convenient as well including the fitness center and indoor pool area. The next time that I visit the Ocean City vicinity, I will definitely be staying at this hotel. It’s only less than a 5 minute drive to the beach. You’re right across the street from the Outlet and plenty of dining options as well. Parking at the hotel is free too!

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They immediately addressed an issue with the room. Bed & pillows were comfortable, room was clean. Didn't use but gym and pool areas looked well equipped. Fair rate, I'd stay here again.

Hampton Inns are usually pretty decent properties for families. This one is no exception. The rooms were clean. The property in general was clean. The breakfast was very basic—the typical Hampton Inn imitation eggs, some kind of sausage patty and waffles. It’s not terrible but I’ve definitely had better. I didn’t like that the pool was closed.

Air conditioning was broken in lobby our hole stay

Property was good enough for our 2 day stay. Breakfast was good and convenient. Our bathroom had empty bottles of body wash & shampoo which were supposed to be filled - so we had to keep coming to the front desk for supplies which was annoying. Otherwise overall was good. Hallway was extremely hot & pool was out of service which was annoying - but overall t was a good place to sleep.

The beds were comfortable. When be needed additional supplies the front desk provided them. The floor appeared to be clean but our feet were filthy after walking around in our room. There should be a larger garbage cans or more cans in the room

We loved the provided breakfast and the cleanliness of the room! Very relaxing and enjoyable. Would stay here again!

Title: Mixed Experience - Friendly Staff, but Major Issues I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn West in Ocean City, Maryland. The location was convenient, and the hotel appeared to be largely up to date. The staff was friendly, especially a young woman named Essence, who was attentive and responsive to our needs. However, our stay was marred by several significant issues. Upon arrival, we discovered mold in our bathroom. We reported this to Essence, who quickly brought up cleaners and attempted to resolve the issue herself, even though it wasn’t her job. Despite her efforts, the mold wasn’t completely removed. She informed the manager and maintenance, but no one came to address the problem that day. We had to report the mold again the next day, and it still wasn’t resolved until the third day of our stay. Throughout this process, there was no communication from the management team, which was disappointing. Additionally, every night from 11 PM to 2 AM, there was someone running and jumping on the floor above us. We called the front desk multiple times, but nothing was done to address the noise disturbance. When we asked if we could switch to another room, we were told that no other rooms were available. While Essence’s exceptional service and friendliness were highlights of our stay, the lack of timely resolution to the mold issue, the persistent noise problem, and the inability to switch rooms significantly detracted from our experience. Very clean and updated room; modern bathroom, very large. This was just a one-night stay, but we will not hesitate to stay in a Hampton Inn in the future.

The room was dark, it had only one light between the beds. The light In the bath room came with a loud fan. I loved the shower, but had problem finding the towels because they were on a shelf,

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean, centrally located for both Ocean City and Assateague Island. The room was large and very comfortable. Nice complimentary breakfast and coffee all day. Only two things I would like to point out to the property owner. First, the wallpaper was peeling above the bed and the bathroom vent was so loud. Otherwise it was a perfect stay.

No outdoor pool or room safe. Bathroom door was a barn door sliding type. Very heavy and did not close all the way for privacy. We asked to be moved but they said no. I got stuck inside the bathroom twice because door was too heavy to move. My husband had to open the door from the outside. We complained and they came and tried to fix it but it was worse.

Very dog friendly. Places to eat and shop within walking distance or a very short drive. Only downside was my hotel room door did not close very well. Otherwise a good stay

Check in clerk was efficient and gave us great dinner suggestions

My stay was for 5 nights. My room was only cleaned once and that was the day before I was to check out. I was scheduled for 2 cleanings I had to complain that the first cleaning wasn't done. The assured me that it would be done the next day. That day came and went and still my room wasn't cleaned. I complained again. Like I said before the room was finally cleaned the day before I checked out. I would like some compensation for this. On a good note I would like to commend HEATHER who was taking care of the breakfast area. She was EXCELLENT in keeping the area Immaculate. Please pass this along to her supervisor.

Terrible customer service

It was amazing. Carr in the breakfast area was great. Francis was very helpful with room extension. Angie in housekeeping did an amazing job.

My family was evicted from our one-night stay at this hotel. We checked in on Saturday at 6:30 pm after a 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, I asked for a late checkout since my daughter's competition would not begin until 1:30 pm the next day. I was told that I could get a 12 pm checkout time. Well, that is not what happened. Promptly at 11 am the housekeeping staff came ready to clean the room. After we told them we had a late check out we then received a call from the front desk stating there was not a late check to request listed. We were told that we had 10 minutes to vacate the room. This was horrible. What happened to empathy or even believing the customer? I have never been kicked out of a hotel before. This was humiliating.

It was very nice! Close to everything

Quieter area of Ovean City. Easy to find and plenty of free parking. Room very comfortable and quiet. Spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast choice a little limited but what was there was tasty and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and return.

I believe this is one of the best hotels in West OC, which is away from the crowd and noise in OC and offers lots of less expensive but great dining options. During our Tuesday to Thursday stay, we easily found parking spots for daytime activities in OC.

Great location right across the bridge from the beach. Staff was amazing.

Very nice, clean hotel well located near all major attractions yet slightly off the beaten path. Lots of restaurant choices nearby.

It was perfect. It was not ocean front but close to many things like activities, shopping, food and away from traffic. We had a very relaxing stay.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an Ocean City alternative. The hotel room was clean and large. It is in a very convenient location, easy to get to the boardwalk and other OC attractions.

I chose this property because I wanted something nicer , but avoiding costs in OC. Would be nice to have on-site bar/restaurant. The breakfast was not good, it was premade and warmed up and place in trays. For the cost of the hotel, a restaurant would be better. No outside pool. So accommodations were lacking. Still very nice place to stay.

We had an excellent time everyone that worked there from manager to the staff they were all very professional friendly and helpful. The suite the hotel it self was clean. The Breakfast was good. My family had a wonderful stay Thank you 😊
