The hotel was very nice. Check in was smooth and the room was very clean. The pool was clear and the ftness center was adequately equipped for a decent workout. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of things to eat. The staff was very friendly.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the pool area was closed for 4 hours for a private party. Usually I wouldn’t care but I ran in the La Crosse marathon and was looking forward to the hot tub after a long run the rain.

Really a nice place! Clean, conveniently located. Comfortable room, bed was great! Floors are a little thin and could hear the people above us walking around. Makes me wonder if the room below us could hear us. But it wasn’t terrible. Breakfast was OK. Coffee machine in the lobby was fantastic! Check in was a breeze as was check out. A bit pricey for the basic accommodations provided, but we are almost always pleased with Best Western lodgings. I would certainly stay here again.

Our TV wouldn’t work - only one station. We called the front desk for help and they said it happens due to rain sometimes…but it wasn’t raining. We tried again. Received no help and had no TV beyond 1 channel during our stay. :(

It was just...okay. The beds were small (two doubles, not queens) the pull out sofa couch was very lumpy and in poor condition. I could not tell if the sheets and comforter were clean or not... If you are a person who wears makeup...this is not the hotel for you. I know this seems like a minor issue, it is not. I was afraid I was going to look like a circus clown by time was done applying and walked outside...The mirror in the bathroom is one of those backlit mirrors and the lighting is SO DARK in there that it feels as though you are in a nightclub bathroom. I had to make sure the curtains in the hotel were fully opened, the two lamps (with bright white bulbs...) were on to make it a little bit lighter. The entire room was dark. No overhead lighting and the lamps were small. I am also wondering how they get away with calling our room a suite, when all it had was a mini fridge and a coffee maker just like every other room. The pool is TINY and DARK, here we go again with the DARK theme. The bottom of the pool needs to be scrubbed and at it's highest depth, it's 4'9'', and it smelled of a pool that had an over abundance of chlorine. Both my busband and I got a migraine from it. Zero stars for the pool. Book another hotel.

Decent place to stay. Recommend asking for room on 3rd floor. I was on 2nd floor and a heavy walker was above me. The pillows were terrible, glad I had two of mine in the car. My two equalled the four they had on the bed.

Check in time of 4pm was inconvenient, but it wasn't worth $50 for us to check in early. We had to go straight to our event in town so checked in after (around midnight); the counter staff seemed annoyed at our arrival. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. But it was quite an expensive room and I can't really figure out why.

The room was nice and updated. Beds were comfy. Continental breakfast was very delicious and had a good diversity of food. However the hot water for the shower did not work properly. Had to crank the water lever all the way to max hot in order to get hot water to start flowing. The drain stopper would fall down and close the drain and when pulled back up, it came off. As far as cable for the TV, there was only about 7 channels that had any sort of signal. The pool was a bit chilly but felt good after awhile.

The property overall is excellent. However, our experience was marred by an unfortunate incident. After checking in early and returning late, we encountered a power outage caused by a hairdryer tripping the breaker. Despite contacting the front desk, the initial response was to search for a switch in the room, which proved fruitless. Even after escalation, the issue remained unresolved until just an hour before checkout. This inconvenience not only affected our ability to use appliances and lights but also resulted in spoiled food. While the staff attempted to assist, the lack of timely resolution left much to be desired.

We recently stayed at this property for work. The front desk lady was very unprofessional and in my opinion, rude. Our first room was nice. The day after check in, the mirror across from the bathroom started falling off the wall. I quickly ran down to front desk and he and maintenance came to the room. They were very kind and concerned for my safety. They asked if i wanted to switch rooms. I said I would be fine staying in the current room due to the amount of travel gear we had for work. They insisted I switch rooms and offered to move us to a suite. I accepted and moved rooms. The next day, I worked from the hotel and did not leave the premises until 630 pm. We returned at 9 pm only to find out our keys no longer worked. We approached the front desk and she said someone messed up and we needed to switch rooms. This was quite the inconvenience to move rooms at that time of night since we both had to work early in the morning. Again, the lady at the front desk was quite rude about it. The new room we were assigned was next to the ice machine and the breakfast area on the first floor. Needless to say, it was quite noisy. We were not offered anything for our inconvenience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I have never been asked to move rooms, let alone twice in the same visit.

Person checking us in was very friendly we were even greeted by a sweet little stray cat on our way inside the building. Room was in excellent condition and very clean and comfortable. Will use this place again when visiting family in La Crosse.

I liked how modern the hotel is and how close it is to the city of LaCrosse. I would probably never stay in LaCrosse now that I know how close this hotel is to the city! Everything was clean, quiet, and the room was spacious. The way the room was organized was very helpful to me.
