We expected there to be a restaurant with it being a Hilton, the web site wasn't very good and didn't make it clear there was only a small bar that did snacks. Not very nice snacks. The bed is terribly hard, not a lot of comfort. However, the room was clean, the staff were friendly.

Parking across the road was fab, discount given too from the hotel for parking. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. Room was nice, clean but air conditioning didn't seem to be working too well, Room was very warm despite the hotel rebooting the air conditioning system. Didn't feel like there was cool air circulating.

Was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and service at Hampton by Hilton in Rochdale. A proper hotel (even has a decent gym) for the price of Premier Inn. Very happy with that.

We usually book rival similar chain hotels, but this was a cheaper option for the date. So pleased we booked. Much better than the rivals, service from arriving to leaving was excellent. room modern and spotless. Bed very comfortable. Excellent shower, with all toiletries, including body lotion. And the booking included a gym and buffet breakfast. Will be our choice in future

This will be our last time staying here. The room had loads of weird sticky things on the wall, the bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioning did not work properly. Would add photos of this but this app won't let me. Breakfast was awful, they've changed it, the mushrooms had been covered in pepper and tastes terrible, the sausages were different and they consistently get the bacon and scrambled egg wrong. No one ever asks how your stay is when checking out just take your key, check the system and say that's all okay. In the 3 months that we have been staying on and off every few weekends, we thought that things would improve with the staffing, but it's really not. The lifts were dirty and had spills on the floor and smelt awful. Don't be fooled by the fact it's a new hotel and the ratings reflect that, it's a poor place to stay

Service is absolutely terrible from the staff, dirty and yellow marks on the bedding, requested for vegetable option for breakfast when booking but there wasn’t any on the day apart from tearless mushroom, we were slightly late to check out, the way staff start to knock on door one after another then walked into room without our permission, is absolutely insane. Absolutely horrible behaviour from the staff

Everything was good the only criticism I have is when myself and my wife got into bed at 2am underneath the quilt was a man’s T-shirt which was very odd and made me wonder if the bedding had be changed. It seemed clean and fresh but I can’t think of any other explanation

Crap stains on sheets, no open windows, hated the wet room very exposed, sort of flooded.. Dodgy curtain rail, food tasteless.. Money deducted from account even though I asked for different payment method. Girl laughed over the phone about sheet stains.. Punters were rough, loud, drunk, selfish and hostile.. Rough area, no coming back... Switching accounts also, no more Expedia

The room was a reasonable size but not big. However the facilties were excellent. There was a smeg fridge and kettle. The walk in shower was excellent. Easy to get the right temperature and pressure. The whole bathroom suite looked like it was relatively new. No mold no water damage anywhere even the grouting was clean. Also the little mounting pictures made it feel homely. Lovely Brand New Hotel Large comfy bed Huge Tv Smeg Fridge and Kettle Huge Power Rainfall shower and handheld. Iron, hairdryer in room Breakfast Okay as incl in price ... Reception were a bit regimented with check in and checkout times ...which is what youd expect from a travelodge ..this was disappointing. You can pay to check in early ...but i just want my room.if its ready ..not to be just sat waiting til 3pm... If its not ready until 3pm fine but if it was ready at 12?? Why make people wait? The staff were lovely, really helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed the stay, loved the Smeg fridge and kettle in the room. The only reason I gave the room a 4 and not 5 was that it was freezing cold as the air conditioning was on full blast it took an hour to warm up as there was no instructions on the air con unit it was a while to work it out then finally get it to go warm and the cups in the room was tiny, big mugs would be a preference. Staff was lovely and helpful and the overall place was lovely with great breakfast.

Bed was supposed to be King size but was in fact 2 singles together so you sunk in the middle, not so comfortable. Check out is at Midday but staff continually knocking on door, (3 times), trying to hurry you up… I left at 11.30am. It’s a new hotel so has a lot to learn

Hotel is quite new so all areas and rooms are in very good condition. Location is very convenient for town centre. Unfortunately, I was told that I couldn't have a receipt when I checked out because I had booked through Hotels.com! This must be a new policy because I've never had this issue before, so I am now looking for an alternative for my business travel.

Absolutely six star ten out of ten. The Italian lady at reception was outstanding. NOTHING was too much trouble, she went above and beyond, just brilliant. All staff were excellent including the cleaning staff. All very happy and it was evident the customer comes first. The hotel was exceptional, very clean and felt very safe. We have family in the area we would definatly return.

Brand new hotel, so it should be good. It's right in the centre of Rochdale, opposite Marks and Spencer - just by the end of the tram route which goes all the way into centre of Manchester. Super hotel and very convenient for my work related visit.

We had a fantastic stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful when needed. The bedding is very comfortable. Great location for visiting family and friends, not too far from the motorway. Breakfast is included, good selection offered.

I like how it’s close to everything and the outside of the property is beautiful. The car parking spot cost £5 Everytime you leave the car park which isn’t bad. It’s very close to shopping and food spots so 10/10 for location. When we walked in staff were very nice and held a conversation. Only thing I didn’t really like out of everything was that the tv was only cable so you couldn’t stream your phone. I wish they change that. But everything else is awesome

The stay was great, can’t comment on the location as we didn’t venture out, we wanted a relaxing night in and that’s what we did. The breakfast was a bit chaotic but the food was ok and the staff were great at trying to keep it organised.

A Lovely clean, modern hotel right next to a shopping centre. Excellent parking over the road for £5 per night. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices, even or a vegan. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to find, handy car parking across the road (key in your reg at reception and its half price...£5 instead of £10 for 24 hours) Short walk to pedestrianised shopping and entertainment area. Lots of choice at the buffet breakfast (loved the waffles!) Enjoyed the chicken burger we had for evening meal too, very tasty and filling for £15. We had a problem with the tv not working but rang reception and they came and fixed it within 5 minutes. Had a chat with the receptionist about places to eat locally and were given 3 recommendations. The only negative about our stay here was the lack of a biscuit on the tea tray! Would definitely stay here again.
