Check in arrangements and lack of staffing mean this is not a hotel and should not be advertised on this site. No staff from 9pm, that’s not safe. What happens if there is a fire?

Room was clean and well organized. Location was great. Our room was in the back of the building and very quiet.

The room was small and there was really only one place to set your luggage so we had the majority of it sitting on the floor. I'm glad we reserved a parking space because it was close to the hotel. They did provide water everyday which was very thoughtful. The location was very convenient. We enjoyed breakfast at Esquires - The Organic Coffee Co. each morning which was a short walk away (on Eyre Square). The avocado toast was delicious. We also enjoyed Murty Rabbit's Irish Pub across the street from the hotel. We stopped in a few evenings for a drink and ended up listening to the loveliest singer who plays there Monday, Tuesday, and Wenesday evenings. He sang a great balance of popular older songs and Irish tunes. Probably one of my favorite memories.

The lane was extremely convenient on our journey. The staff was very helpful, or tried to be. The original room we were assigned was minuscule with a tiny bed that the front desk person assured us was a standard Irish double. I went down and requested a change as there was no way we would get a decent night sleep in such a tiny bed. The man at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. He asked me to wait a few minutes came back and walked us to a room down the hall. That was much much better. It had a North American style king-size bed. The room itself was obviously larger. The bathroom was set up to support a disabled person, but was roomie and clean and comfortable. The best two nights sleep we’ve had so far. The one downside was that the TV reception continuously pixelated the entire time we were there. Someone did come up twice but was not able to resolve the issue.
