The hotel is new and very clean! I enjoyed the Peloton bikes in the gym too. Breakfast is also included. The staff were very nice! I hope next time we visit that there will be a traffic light since it was a little hard to find and the intersection can get a bit busy. Overall, we had a great stay!

The hotel was beautiful breakfast was delicious and so many options. We were with a large group and loved the outdoor space with grill. The fire place was in the Frits but it was still great. Only wish was a hot tub.

Amazing! It’s a new facility, but the managers and staff were very personable, helpful. I loved the rooms with a kitchen that have a full size refrigerator, a nice size sink, a dishwasher and place settings and silverware for four.

Property appeared to be new. Comfortable bathroom. Very nice hot breakfast set up and food options. I liked the pet designated area. I prefer firmer pillows and stronger coffee, but I would stay there again and recommend them to friends and family.

Wonderful stay, from check in to check out! The beds we comfortable, the rooms were clean, the pool was a fun option because the weather wasn't cooperating. We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast before the hours are a little later on weekends but that was OK, coffee was still avaliable in the lobby.

Rooms are larger than expected. From the rooms to the gym to the lobby, all were very clean. Nice having multiple washer and dryers on site. Breakfast was also good.

EV Charging

We have never stayed at Home 2 Suites before, and it would not be our first choice in the future. Upon arrival it looked really nice. Jimmy was very helpful to us and our elderly Mom which we are extremely appreciative. Unfortunately there were too many other negatives within the hotel that soured our experience. First off the setup for the handicap is not the best. The roll in shower looked great, but there is nothing preventing the water from going all over the bathroom which is very dangerous for an elderly/handicapped person. Second the bed was pretty high making it hard to get into bed. Breakfast One of the worst hotel breakfast areas we have seen. It was an unappetizing mess. Nothing was full and the countertops were dirty. The yogurt station just gross. There should be a small refrigerator for the eggs and dairy products. leaving the bus bins on the countertop for the guests to put their dishes is unsanitary and not a nice visual. Last they should alert the guests that breakfast will be ending instead of silently shutting the door. Other things First the workout room and pool should not be so close to the rooms. Second spend the money on better do not disturb signs because your current ones are so flimsy that they slide right off as soon as you use the door. Also there are no clocks in the rooms. Lastly please do away with the make tipping easy signs that are everywhere. Suggesting that your guests should tip all of your employees is tacky.

Overall very good, we may make it our new “TC Hotel” after coming from the Cabria. Beds were excellent as were the pillows. Clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Shower water pressure was the only let down.

Rooms were not ready and the whole party of 13 people had to wait for 1.30 hrs before they were available. Front desk was very rude.

Despite a sign saying breakfast ran until 10:00 am on holidays, they shut it down before I arrived at 9:30. When I asked at the front desk I was told they shut it down (which was obvious) and the clerk told me that they should not have, and that was it. I had to spend almost $40 taking my family out for breakfast.

We tried to check in at 6pm and were told the room wasn’t ready, it hadn’t been cleaned. Check into was supposed to be 3 or 4 Pretty sad, to avoid just standing in the lobby while someone cleaned the room. We carried all our luggage back to the car and went out to eat, i would have appreciated a chance to clean up first or a recognition discount for the inconvenience.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast selection for hotel breakfast, friendly staff, close to restaurants and other activities.

Hotel was great; however, getting out onto the busy road (when needing to turn left) was not. At times, there were very long lines of cars waiting to get out and turn left.

Good location to take in all Traverse City has to offer.
