Upon checking into my room, I noticed a swarm of fruit flies emerging from the shower drain. Approximately 15 to 20 flies were buzzing around the drain area and the rest of the shower. This immediately raised a red flag. I promptly called the front desk, and they dispatched someone to spray a bug spray. This solution provided temporary relief for the night. However, the next night, the flies returned, this time circling around the drain area and the ceiling. They were also coming from a duct area on the ceiling. By this point, I had already unpacked most of my belongings and was accompanied by my 8-month-old baby, making it challenging to change rooms. Determined to take matters into my own hands, I went downstairs and purchased an extra-strength bug spray. This solution offered some relief for the night, but the flies persisted the following day. At night, they would enter the sleeping area, forcing us to swat bugs while trying to rest and protect my baby. Needless to say, this experience was highly disappointing and unhygienic. I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort caused by this traumatic stay.
