We were on 4th floor and it was hotter than !@#$. NO A/C..TINY window for ventillation...they had 3 elec. Car chargers and only 1 was being used by elec. Car..other 2 occupied by gas vehicles..one of which was an employees car..who at first was not interested in moving it for us (we had elec. Car)..he finally moved it so we could charge. If I were you...stay somewhere else.

Lovely place. Easy walk around town. The parking was extremely limited and tight, but we made it work. Probably the best breakfast spread on our trip, though the earlier you get to breakfast, the better. The room was clean and comfortable.

Convenient, not too far from major sight seeing spots. Good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Nice and tidy room and high quality furnitures and bathroom. Nice and friendly staffs. Hotel could get busy over the weekends, breakfast area could get nearly full and crowded. Free parking but with limited space, 2/3 of nights we had to park on street or free car park 2 blocks away. Hotel parking provide five 7kW free EV chargers but it will likely to be ICEd.

We had a great stay overall. The receptionist was very nice, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was ample parking, which made things easy. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean, and the bathroom was especially nice. The location was convenient, with several restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast in the morning was excellent—honestly the best we had in Iceland. There were plenty of options and everything was very fresh. The only downside was that access to the hot tub/spa required an additional fee, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend it.

This is one of the best hotels around the Ring road. Spacious, clean, nice looking rooms. Close to restaurants and grocery stores, center of town. Free breakfast with alot of hot food selections. Convenient to get to. I've stayed at this hotel twice during my visits to Iceland.

The hotel itself is minimalist and modern. Very walkable to restaurants and shops. My specific downside about this hotel is my room smelled like sewage the whole time. Since they were fully booked, they could not switch me out. It was unbearable. The front desk person said it was because it's "windy" outside but my friends who had 2 different rooms did not have this issue.

There was a sandwich left in the fridge from a previous guest and the room was uncomfortably hot for our entire stay. Not sure about Iceland’s relationship with air conditioning, but it was quite cool outside and not possible to cool off the room through the tiny window opening. Front desk told us there was nothing they could do. Otherwise this place was a nice and convenient spot to stop as we passed through town. Breakfast was quite good although not the best coffee. Appreciated the nespresso machine in the room though.

Hotel and especially the room was very hot. Our room was western facing and it was so hot when we checked in that we had to leave and come back later. No AC and hotel did not have any fans. We slept with the window (1) open and didn't help much on temp and it was very loud from the traffic on the street out front. Not much sleep between the hot room and loud traffic.

It was a nice, modern room with a lovely bathroom with a tall showerhead - a bonus for my 6'5" husband. We visited in early June, so blackout curtains were a must. The room was a little warm, and little air came through from the small window as a result of having to close the curtains (a common theme at every hotel during this time of year), but they had a fan in the room that made all the difference. The location was good and was near a really wonderful food hall with a lot of great options for lunch/dinner.

We, a family of 3, booked a triple room for 1 night. We were assigned to have a room at the end of the corridor on the ground floor. The room was an accessible room where the bathroom was going to be very wet after taking bath. Because of ground floor, the room was just next to the Main Street that we couldn’t sleep throughout the whole night due to extremely noisy outside. Luckily we stayed there only for one night.

Enjoyed our stay here, very convenient to dining and shopping areas of Selfoss. The spa area was closed when we were there so no comment. Rooms were very clean. As an American, that was by far the warmest and stuffiest hotel room we stay at on our trip. I basically had to open the small window and fully open our room door to try to suck out all the hot air. Definitely get a room face in the parking lot to reduce any kind of road noise. If you get in late the parking lot will be full and you will have to park on the street. I would recommend asking for a room on the lowest floor possible if you’re looking for a room that is not super warm in the summer.

Great stay at a comfortable hotel near the bridge and river os Selfoss. Selfoss seems to be an attractive village since we met a traffic jam twice. There is a Food court and several restaurants nearby. Great service and hospitality from the hotel. An early breakfast was possible. given the accessible room - the shower curtain bar dropped and landed hard on my head when I stepped in. Flagged out to the staff who merely installed it back without any apology or offer to change room. The room we had was also right beside the carpark - a tour bus was parked late into the night with the engine running which made it difficult for us to sleep.

Our first “little city” in Iceland (we came from the North). Staff was excellent, did a wakeup call for the Aurora Borealis, which I saw w others from the parking lot, as well as a nearby field. Nearby/walkable to town, many restaurants. Also very convenient to Golden Circle and to S. Peninsula, where we traveled afterwards. Nice breakfast and nice to have coffee/tea at all times available. We also were able to charge our plug-in hybrid overnight.

This is in a great location near the hot spots. We went to the food hall for dinner which is essentially next door. We then walked to the Church to check out the Northern Lights. This was one of the few hot breakfasts of the trip and it was very welcomed on tired traveling bodies!
