Amazing hotel and staff! Nice pools overlooking the ocean. Beautiful view, safe, private and pristine rooms. The maids are next level and the service and kindness is unmatched. Felt very safe for a solo traveler

Looks nicer in pictures than IRL. I didn\'t see views of the ocean, even at the top of my building (and the small pool wasn\'t filled there after all) or the other buildings. The pool water was very cold. On site restaurant hours and options were limited. WiFi was spotty. And it\'s a bit of a walk uphill to get to the hotel, with no elevators or easy access (if you have a lot of or heavy luggage). The manager was very nice, but I had to access for my "VIP free drinks" and about the free room upgrade (never heard back either). It was an ok place away from the noise of town, but probably wouldn\'t stay again.

Checkin was easy, and Lalo the onsite mgr is great. Easy place to stay and walk to the main square. 88 to main square is a 4-5 min walk and same to the beach. We would stay here again. There is an upper pool that technically is for rooms 1-6 and lower pool is for 7,8 room.

Beautifully appointed upper loft with a spectacular view. The pool was great to cool off, and Lalo and the staff were terrific. Be aware that there are lots of stairs to the upper units, but worth each climb!

We recently stayed at Distrito 88 for a week and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers great outdoor spaces and a few pools. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The location was also amazing and was a quick walk into town but far enough away that it was quiet during the night time. We look forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful place to stay. Location was close to everything but off the main roads to help with noise. There are a number of stairs if mobility is an issue. There are two pools. We used the one outside our room. It has great views down to the bay and beach area. The staff were all wonderful.

Very beautiful place to stay! Lalo, our host was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He helped us rent a golf cart, which made zipping around Sayulita a breeze! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect for relaxing. I will stay there again!

Clean rooms, nice staff, very quiet able to escape all the noise of Sayulita. Nice view of the ocean, comfortable bed, working AC. Only con would be no where to sit in the room, but the cafe/restaurant is nice to get some things done when its open 9-4.

The room was clean, had what we needed, a bit away from downtown which is nice. 10 min walk to the beach. The hotel is very tranquil, the staff is so friendly and the breakfast was so tasty! I loved my stay here and if I came back to sayu, this is absolutely where I’d stay

My wife and I had a great 6 night stay here. Overall the hotel was very clean and very quiet! Exactly what we were looking for. We can not thank Lalo enough for his warm welcome and his attention to making our stay flawless. He made sure we had everything we needed. Stayed in contact via text which made it easy when we wanted to rent a golf cart (highly recommended) and when we needed to schedule a taxi back to the airport. I recommend having lunch at the hotel. The shrimp tacos and the guacamole were excellent! Thank you!

Distrito 88 is absolutely amazing. Before we even got there their communication was unbelievable. They welcomed us two days before getting there. The day of our flight Lalo reached out to us and greeted us at the gate. Lalo made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned everyday with pride. The property itself is so beautiful. Top notch. Elle the cook is so friendly and makes the most tasty food. If you want a relaxing stay on a gorgeous property this is the place for you. Thank you to everyone at Distrito 88 for making our stay perfect.

Distrito is in a great area. Easily walkable to the square (steep hills). The service was excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast area. Beds were hard, the door didn’t work well and the shower dripped. It was a beautiful hotel, but just had some quirks.

The suites are very nice and roomy. We were in Suite 2 and had a private balcony area and convenient pool area just for the suites. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Lalo is the manager and he responded immediately to any request. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We stayed in room 7 by the lower pool right next to the restaurant. Weren't aware ot was next to the restaurant when we booked and could easily hear the room next door even though they were talking at a reasonable level. So the revoew is for one of those rooms. Not the other rioms on the upper levels, which were of a much higher standard. Lalo the manager was friendly, lolite, and efficient. The shower in our room had very low pressure and little to no hot water at first, but Lalo fixed it for the second night. The hotel is located a short walk to downtown and the beach which is the main plus. But it is also well kept and quiet, at least Mon thru Fri, during the week when we were there. The upstairs units with views of the ocean would probably be 5 stars, the lower single units by the pool and restaurant i gave 3 stars because it was a significant downgrade from the others, even though they were well maintained. Just a little basic with limited privacy.

I was really disappointed upon arrival, as the photos painted a very different picture, spacious, private, and upscale. I chose to splurge on this stay, even upgrading my room because I expected a level of comfort and privacy that simply wasn’t there. The room was small and felt rigid in design. The only seating option was a trendy but uncomfortable wire chair, and the “premium bedding” turned out to be a stiff coil mattress with rough sheets, definitely not the cozy setup I expected. The “patio” was actually a shared balcony with a large daybed taking up most of the space, facing inward toward the property instead of the ocean. I requested to cancel the rest of my stay but was denied a refund. Honestly, it was so uncomfortable and misrepresented that I left anyway, booked a new place, and willingly took the financial hit just to feel at ease somewhere else. That said, the host Lalo was kind and helpful, he carried my bags, provided clear instructions, and shared the WiFi info promptly. I also appreciated the small carafe of water, the eco-friendly bath products, and the strong AC. Overall, while there were a few thoughtful touches, the overall experience didn’t align with the listing, and it definitely didn’t justify the price.

Wonderful stay and Lalo is amazing! He helped us schedule excursions, recommended restaurants and even set up a massage for us. Location is a little off from the noisy part of town which was much appreciated. The green juice in the cafe onsite was also fantastic.

The suites are very nice and roomy. We were in Suite 2 and had a private balcony area and convenient pool area just for the suites. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Lalo is the manager and he responded immediately to any request. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We got ripped off by the manager. We arrived at an earlier date. They said no problem we will refund your original booking. But we had to pay upfront. We stayed and tried to get a refund. They would not refund our original payment even though we paid to stay at an earlier date. So we paid twice. The manager is extremely unforgiving and a liar.

Everything was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The staff especially Lalo was very helpful and accommodating and always smiling. We also loved the location it’s far enough from the center of town but close enough were your not walking so far. We loved the room! Spacious and sunny when you wanted it to be. The view was one of a kind. Overall a 10/10 experience. I can’t wait to come back. I will book again with them. ❤️ thank you for everything

Distrito 88 is absolutely amazing. Before we even got there their communication was unbelievable. They welcomed us two days before getting there. The day of our flight Lalo reached out to us and greeted us at the gate. Lalo made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned everyday with pride. The property itself is so beautiful. Top notch. Elle the cook is so friendly and makes the most tasty food. If you want a relaxing stay on a gorgeous property this is the place for you. Thank you to everyone at Distrito 88 for making our stay perfect.

Lalo, who runs the property, was very hospitable and accommodating! As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe walking around there the entire time. The entrance is at the top of a steep hill, so get your legs ready! Renting a golf cart for a day was quite fun. I would love to stay there again. The only reason I gave the area 4 stars is there is construction going on directly by Distrito 88.

The room was clean, had what we needed, a bit away from downtown which is nice. 10 min walk to the beach. The hotel is very tranquil, the staff is so friendly and the breakfast was so tasty! I loved my stay here and if I came back to sayu, this is absolutely where I’d stay

Checkin was easy, and Lalo the onsite mgr is great. Easy place to stay and walk to the main square. 88 to main square is a 4-5 min walk and same to the beach. We would stay here again. There is an upper pool that technically is for rooms 1-6 and lower pool is for 7,8 room.

Overall, the site stay was good. We were not informed that there was construction going on from 8-5 with loud music and power tools. We also unaware of the brick steps we had to climb with luggage and walking path up the hill was steep. However, manager Lalo and team were awesome! We would considered staying there again with golf cart rental and once construction is complete.

We recently stayed at Distrito 88 for a week and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers great outdoor spaces and a few pools. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The location was also amazing and was a quick walk into town but far enough away that it was quiet during the night time. We look forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful place to stay. Location was close to everything but off the main roads to help with noise. There are a number of stairs if mobility is an issue. There are two pools. We used the one outside our room. It has great views down to the bay and beach area. The staff were all wonderful.

Wonderful stay and Lalo is amazing! He helped us schedule excursions, recommended restaurants and even set up a massage for us. Location is a little off from the noisy part of town which was much appreciated. The green juice in the cafe onsite was also fantastic.

Clean rooms, nice staff, very quiet able to escape all the noise of Sayulita. Nice view of the ocean, comfortable bed, working AC. Only con would be no where to sit in the room, but the cafe/restaurant is nice to get some things done when its open 9-4.

Looks nicer in pictures than IRL. I didn\'t see views of the ocean, even at the top of my building (and the small pool wasn\'t filled there after all) or the other buildings. The pool water was very cold. On site restaurant hours and options were limited. WiFi was spotty. And it\'s a bit of a walk uphill to get to the hotel, with no elevators or easy access (if you have a lot of or heavy luggage). The manager was very nice, but I had to access for my "VIP free drinks" and about the free room upgrade (never heard back either). It was an ok place away from the noise of town, but probably wouldn\'t stay again.

My wife and I had a great 6 night stay here. Overall the hotel was very clean and very quiet! Exactly what we were looking for. We can not thank Lalo enough for his warm welcome and his attention to making our stay flawless. He made sure we had everything we needed. Stayed in contact via text which made it easy when we wanted to rent a golf cart (highly recommended) and when we needed to schedule a taxi back to the airport. I recommend having lunch at the hotel. The shrimp tacos and the guacamole were excellent! Thank you!

I love the area where the hotel was located, the dinning options are conveniente and delightful, the staff was incredible, the pools and the area confort and even though the see view its kinda far from the room, we enjoy the sunrise and the sunset.

Beautiful design but not at all functional. Very limited space around the main pool. No tables and chairs. Very noisy with construction going on 6 days a week right next to the property. You need a code to get out of the property, so not secure in case of an emergency.
