Hotel is just as described! Simple "mom and pop" place, just what we wanted for a snowmobile trip. Super nice sisters - Sara and Mary - at the front desk. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and an assortment of juices, oatmeal and an assortment of packaged snacks for breakfast. Big jar of candy (take the Snickers bars for protein!) also! Bed was super comfortable, however, when either of us rolled over, the whole bed wiggled/shook, like their aren't individual coils. We parked sleds right in front of our room. Quiet at night. Bar/grill right next door, if you get in early. Such awesome snowmobile trails in this area!

Staff was very friendly. Room was nice and clean. No air conditioning but there were two fans in the room. Instructions for the wifi and cable were in the room and easy to use. Bathroom was small. Breakfast was fruit and prepacked bars or muffins.

This was a clean, cute little motel out in the middle of nowhere almost, which means nice and quite. The room was clean, beds comfy, and hot water was instant and plentiful. They even have a little breakfast nook with coffee and some simple breakfast items. The staff was super friendly. The only negative I might have is the parking area is gravel and dirt, and when it's wet out, you track that into the room super easily and it's hard to get off your feet with the small mat. As a result the dirt gets all over the floor, and when you go to bed your bare feet pick up that dirt and you have to be really careful about wiping it off your feet otherwise you end up with gravel/dirt in your bed. Otherwise, if you need a simple, comfortable, clean room at a good price, you can't get much better.

NO air conditioning at all, so hot summer months they do provide large fans. Owners very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. One small pub/restaurant next door, open only evenings. No gas stations in the immediate area, so fill up before if you need to. Small packaged breakfast items offered in office. This is a totally refurbished single story motel. The owners did a fantastic job with the remodel. Its clean, neat, and the bed is very comfy! Coffee, muffins, juice and fruit cups for breakfast. There's a small restaurant/bar next door. The rooms are otfitted with a table and chairs, fridge, microwave and TV. Internet is available as well. Two sisters, Sara, Mary, and family have worked hard to provide a homey, clean atmosphere!

3 lakes motel was nicely renovated. Clean hot shower with good water pressure lots of room lived the marble shelf I could put my shampoo conditioner razor etc. check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable with refrigerator. Enjoyed having a continental breakfast hot oatmeal coffee tea, cinnamon rolls, muffins, juice etc.

Very nice hotel, especially for the small size. My only complaint- we need a little ice for our cooler, but practically none is provided. Would have like a few cups of ice to keep our food cold but don’t need to buy a whole bag at a grocery store.

Room #12 The people are great. Park right in front of your door, super easy to load and unload. WiFi great! The fridge/freezer was real nice it was a mini 2 door. Only one thing bad the hair dryer didn’t get warm or hot. But how would they know that unless they checked it after every guest. I did let them know and I bet it was replaced before we left the driveway! No ice machine, they did have some in the office for drinks.

The motel was refurbished and is in excellent condition! very clean! Great hot showers and nice, friendly hosts. Not only is the price (for the area) very good but there is a small breakfast offered too! We extended out stay just because the motel was such a nice place to stay during our trip to the Keweenaw peninsula. This is not a dumpy old roadside motel, it is clean, smells good and nicely updated. I would recomend it.

Spent the night on a travel trip between Houghton and Marquette after driving 9 hours. Easy access right on the highway. Surprisingly quiet.very nice owners on the premises that are a phone call away—if you need to call to check in late, just let them know 24 hours in advance. It’s a classic 1960 MOTEL that was remodeled about 10 years ago. It’s attractive and my son thought it was pretty neat. Newish bathroom set up and clean room. No AC but there are 2 big fans.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly. It is an older property therefore no air conditioning. We would not stay again in the heat and humidity of summer but different seasons would be ok.

Excellent service from the staff/owners!! Understandably the heating source had been shut down for the summer. But, we had an unusually cold day/night upon our check-in. We asked about the heat and the owners turned the entire boiler system on as a result of us being cold in the room. Great service and a kind gesture!!

Although it was a little out of the way it happened to be of the only hotels that had availability. Check in was awesome. Even before check in we received a text message from sara asking about our arrival time. We would definitely stay here again just because we loved small town feel and hospitality!

Surprisingly quiet.very nice owners on the premises that are a phone call away—if you need to call to check in late, just let them know 24 hours in advance. It’s a classic 1960 MOTEL that was remodeled about 10 years ago. It’s attractive and my son thought it was pretty neat. Newish bathroom set up and clean room. No AC but there are 2 big fans.

The room was very homey, comfortable, and kept super clean. The staff (especially Sara) were some of the nicest people I've ever encountered while staying at a hotel/motel. The view located right behind the motel down a little trail is just gorgeous. The only downside is that it's located in the middle of nowhere essentially and you have to travel 5 miles in either direction to get food or supplies. The steakhouse that was about 18 miles away had absolutely delicious food though! But this also lends to the fact that it's very quiet there which is always a plus. My husband and I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the woods!

The facilities are very clean, and the owner is extremely friendly. A bit of a jaunt by bike to the nearest convenience store, but that's to be expected in such a quiet place. Highly recommend a visit for some good conversation and quiet evening.

NO air conditioning at all, so hot summer months they do provide large fans. Owners very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. One small pub/restaurant next door, open only evenings. No gas stations in the immediate area, so fill up before if you need to. Small packaged breakfast items offered in office. We wanted to stay in Marquette, but because of some off roading event and fall colors weekend, we couldn’t find any place to stay in Marquette. Thankfully, 25 miles outside this motel was available. It’s located near three lakes. They are walkable from there. motel is tidy and clean. You can park the car at the front door. Sara and her sister, they both are super friendly. They text and check if you are doing a late check in. Overall a good experience.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not very good (all packaged foods). The tub was very small and there was not a lot of things for kids to do (no pool, etc.). The motel was not located convenient to many places to visit and there were very few restaurants to choose from.

Hotel is just as described! Simple "mom and pop" place, just what we wanted for a snowmobile trip. Super nice sisters - Sara and Mary - at the front desk. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and an assortment of juices, oatmeal and an assortment of packaged snacks for breakfast. Big jar of candy (take the Snickers bars for protein!) also! Bed was super comfortable, however, when either of us rolled over, the whole bed wiggled/shook, like their aren't individual coils. We parked sleds right in front of our room. Quiet at night. Bar/grill right next door, if you get in early. Such awesome snowmobile trails in this area!

Staff was very friendly. Room was nice and clean. No air conditioning but there were two fans in the room. Instructions for the wifi and cable were in the room and easy to use. Bathroom was small. Breakfast was fruit and prepacked bars or muffins.

This was a clean, cute little motel out in the middle of nowhere almost, which means nice and quite. The room was clean, beds comfy, and hot water was instant and plentiful. They even have a little breakfast nook with coffee and some simple breakfast items. The staff was super friendly. The only negative I might have is the parking area is gravel and dirt, and when it's wet out, you track that into the room super easily and it's hard to get off your feet with the small mat. As a result the dirt gets all over the floor, and when you go to bed your bare feet pick up that dirt and you have to be really careful about wiping it off your feet otherwise you end up with gravel/dirt in your bed. Otherwise, if you need a simple, comfortable, clean room at a good price, you can't get much better.

This is a totally refurbished single story motel. The owners did a fantastic job with the remodel. Its clean, neat, and the bed is very comfy! Coffee, muffins, juice and fruit cups for breakfast. There's a small restaurant/bar next door. The rooms are otfitted with a table and chairs, fridge, microwave and TV. Internet is available as well. Two sisters, Sara, Mary, and family have worked hard to provide a homey, clean atmosphere!

We were coming from Isle Royal and this was a good stop to stay because you get off the boat late afternoon and we live 8 hours from Copper Harbor. I called to let them know that boat had just gotten into Copper Harbor and would be there and ended up being later then expected but they stayed open for us to check in. The room was nicely deocorated, clean and everything we needed. Owner worked with me to change my reservation to fewer days and was very accomodating, not something that would happen at a chain hotel. The lobby has a really nice selection of breakfast items. would definatlly stay there again.

3 lakes motel was nicely renovated. Clean hot shower with good water pressure lots of room lived the marble shelf I could put my shampoo conditioner razor etc. check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable with refrigerator. Enjoyed having a continental breakfast hot oatmeal coffee tea, cinnamon rolls, muffins, juice etc.
