Loved that each area was scented and each smell was amazing. The spa facilities were free to use and you are provided with a towel, slippers and soap if you wanted to use the hammam. You could also pay for a therapist if you wanted

I enjoyed the swimming pool and the sashimi bar, amazing food. Sauna is good. Location is good, staffs are exceptional. however the room itself is not as clean to a five star standard and my room faces the street so a bit nosy at night

Excellent hotel, with great storage of clothes, beautiful rooms, bathrooms and the spa is great. All staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is special. Walking distance to most areas. Very central Second stay and if I return to Istanbul this will be my hotel of choice again

We spent four nights at this truly wonderful hotel. The staff, facilities, and rooms are superb! The hotel is located at the lower end of Taksim Square (Gezi Park metro exit). The spa area with its pool, jacuzzi, and sauna is very nice (though the water could be a bit warmer). The breakfast room is lovely and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We would definitely stay at the Divan Hotel again next time.

We’d never stayed in a five star hotel before and it was great. A real treat. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, the pool and spa really clean and calm, the rooms big, beds massive and very comfortable, and staff friendly and nice. My only thing was the noise from the traffic with the window open but that’s Istanbul. Otherwise it was a good location. Would recommend.

They had a good and varied breakfast, but unfortunately, the room service was disappointing. The used towels that we had left on the floor for replacement were folded and put back for our use, and the bathroom service or room cleaning was not good at all. I'm surprised by the Divan Hotel, given its long history and the good service it had a few years ago. Unfortunately, I won't return to this hotel again as I wasted my money and it wasn't worth paying for such poor service.

Primeiramente, apesar do hotel ser classificado como 5 estrelas, ele passa longe disso. Para mim, um hotel 5 estrelas tem que fazer com que me sinta especial. Achei todos os funcionários frios, nada receptivos. A limpeza do nosso quarto foi um pouco precária, o carpete estava bem sujo com fios de cabelos e os chinelos fornecidos para os hóspedes estavam usados e imundos. Também notei que o quarto precisa de uma renovação, pois os móveis estavam velhos, com a madeira rasgada e carpete velho. A propriedade é muito bem localizada, ao lado da praça Taksim e walking distance para várias atrações e muita opção de transporte público e restaurantes. O café da manhã deixou muito a desejar, o buffet tinha várias opções de comidas, mas apenas ovo mexido e cozido e café filtrado, qualquer outra opção de ovo ou café deveria ser pago à parte. A propriedade conta com uma bela piscina, academia e sauna, porém eu fui expulsa as 21:45h mesmo com a informação que fechava as 22h.

Divan İstanbul’da ilk kalışım ama kapıdan girdiğim an çalışanların yaklaşımı hayalkırıklığı oldu. Elimde valizle otele girerken 100 kere konaklama mı diye sordular ama bir kere buyurun ya da hoş geldiniz demediler. İkincisi resepsiyonda odanızı upgrade ettik dediler ki benim hiç öyle talebim olmadı enteresan olan beni bir aile odasına aldılar. Suit dedikleri şey bir çift iki tek kişilik yatak bulunan benim için gereksiz, anlamsız bir oda; çift banyolu falan. Çok komik tek başıma her gece ayrı bir yatakta mı yatacağım?! Upgrade dedikleri şey dalga geçmek gibiydi. Kahvaltının başında kahve ile beraber sipariş verdiğim omlet iki sabah kahvaltımın sonunda geldi, kahvaltı servis ekibi ya yetersiz ya yavaş. Son olarak banyo kesinlikle iyi temizlenmemişti benden önceki misafirin saçları çekmeceler dahil her yerdeydi. Ait olduğu gruba layık değildi otel genel anlamda. Dedeman ayarındaydı tek fark yırtık sökük çarşaflarda yatırmıyorlar, minnettarım-:)

This is a beautiful hotel continently located in the heart of Istanbul but we were disappointed to discover that we had been given a room on the “smoking floor” of the hotel without our knowledge. Cigarette smoke came through the vents all night and the hotel was full so we couldn’t have another room. A 5-star hotel should have a policy to ask customers their preference for smoking or non-smoking rooms. Management had little to say in this issue and didn’t provide a discount on the room because it was paid through Expedia.

Beautiful big room with an extra living room, best breakfast ever here and the cocktail bar makes a super Old Fashioned. I lost my jewelry in the spa and found it back the next day as staff had already located it and kept it safe. Unbelievable experience and also great location

Good location. Very close to the metro and walking fistance to Taksim square. Lovely hotel...but our room had a terrible view of a construction site but at the end of the day we were there to be out and about not just look out the window. Friendly staff great hotel.

We had a very delightful experience staying at Divan, Istanbul. We arrived very late at night and had requested an extra rollaway bed for our room. Although the bed was not initially set up, the hotel staff quickly realized the oversight and immediately arranged for the rollaway bed to be brought in and set up without much delay. Understanding the inconvenience this might have caused us, they very thoughtfully sent a small snack plate to our room the next day, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic — situated right next to Taksim Square, it offered incredibly easy access to all the attractions, shopping areas, and eateries in and around the Taksim area. Whether it was a casual stroll down İstiklal Street or a quick hop to nearby restaurants and cafés, everything was conveniently close by, making it very easy for us to explore the city without needing much transportation. The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The swimming pool was a real delight — clean, serene, and a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the Hamam and other wellness amenities, which were beautifully maintained and offered a truly rejuvenating experience. Overall, our stay at Divan Istanbul was memorable and full of wonderful moments. We would definitely recommend Divan Istanbul to anyone visiting the city and would love to stay here again on our next trip!

Whether it was a casual stroll down İstiklal Street or a quick hop to nearby restaurants and cafés, everything was conveniently close by, making it very easy for us to explore the city without needing much transportation. The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The swimming pool was a real delight — clean, serene, and a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the Hamam and other wellness amenities, which were beautifully maintained and offered a truly rejuvenating experience. Overall, our stay at Divan Istanbul was memorable and full of wonderful moments. We would definitely recommend Divan Istanbul to anyone visiting the city and would love to stay here again on our next trip!

We were super impressed with the comfort, high end service and hospitality at this property. In particular, the service of one of the concierge. Mr. Berk Şahnoğlu, was far and beyond. The hotel is ideally located near Taksim square,walking distance (2.6Km) to Galata Tower or you can catch the little red tram from Taksim square to Galata tower(very busy) About a 20 minute walk to Dolmabahçe Palace. The only negative experience at the hotel was my wife booked a massage/turkish bath in the hotel spa,she was informed because we booked with Expedia she was entitled to 20% discount but was charged full price,when we questioned why no discount was applied (same person who told her about the discount) her reply was ..oh I forgot..She took my wife’s Details and said the discount would be credited back to her card..never happened 😤

We spent four nights at this truly wonderful hotel. The staff, facilities, and rooms are superb! The hotel is located at the lower end of Taksim Square (Gezi Park metro exit). The spa area with its pool, jacuzzi, and sauna is very nice (though the water could be a bit warmer). The breakfast room is lovely and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We would definitely stay at the Divan Hotel again next time.

Good hotel in a good location. Very close to airport bus stop and to the metro. Lots of eating places and shops nearby. The spa was great, loved the pool. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices however, the service was very disjointed. I was there for 9 days and it never got any better. The way they served the coffee, tea was so disorganised. It was difficult to get a second cup without having to try and stop one of the employees. There was no offer to top up the drinks at all. One morning I requested a Turkish coffee which I was told was an extra charge, I said OK to that but it NEVER came. After 20minutes I got up and left. Similarly if you ask for the made to order eggs such as an omelette it took way too long to arrive. My husband had finished his breakfast by the time it did eventually arrive. They need more staff and better drinks organisation. The staff were all over the place instead of working a section which was really needed in this very busy breakfast room. If they can sort the breakfast service out I would have given this hotel a better rating because overall our stay there was very good.

We’d never stayed in a five star hotel before and it was great. A real treat. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, the pool and spa really clean and calm, the rooms big, beds massive and very comfortable, and staff friendly and nice. My only thing was the noise from the traffic with the window open but that’s Istanbul. Otherwise it was a good location. Would recommend.
