The check-in seemed like a convenience store after midnight—bullet-proof glass, documents slipped through cracks, a $100 cash deposit before I could stay (even though backed up with a credit card), and no receipt was give when asked (I needed to take a picture of the envelope). Badly broken bathroom mirror, dirty floor, TV didn't work, kitchenette had zero items in the cabinets, drawers, and cupboards; the toilet seat was loose; the "living area had old, broken, and unmatched (and dirty) furniture; the vending machines were out of order; employees smoking right outside the entrance; and the elevator had a strong scent that screamed it was hiding something. There is of course more, but the shower vent were very nice.

Breakfast was horrible. Only a few bagles and toaster waffles. One day there was no coffee! Although there was a kitchenette, no supplies were provided. Floor smelled like a Indian restaurant and it did not get better during our 4 night stay. Parking was taken over by lots of contruction vehicles and their generators, trailers and supplies. (I would estimate 1/3 of the parking was thus not available.) When asked where i should park if there were no places left in the lot or on the street i was told to park illegally in the handicap parking.

The guy who checked ua in was very hard ti understand and did not seem friendly at all. The bed was comfortable and rooms clean and in good condition. However the side entrance and parking lot has a lot to be desired. There are hardly any parking available there are recliners grills and other miscellaneous seats by the dumpster where there was several men sitting. It was very unnerving to park there but had no choice. The breakfast is pretty nonexistent. There was a frozen waffle left and bread. No jelly or peanut butter available and no other protein or health options. It should not even be considered breakfast.

Had the kitchenette suite. Good remnants on the wall at the counter. No cutlery or cooking utensils. Rest of the room Ok. Elevator smelt like a urinal, but rest of the facility appeared clean. Overall stay ok

Check in was a little difficult they could not find my reservation ,even after I gave them confirmation email so they told me to step aside while they helped six other people. Once we got to room it had an unpleasant smell and everything was sticky. After wiping everything down I looked at my socks and they were black. So I threw them away. Cheap place to stay ,safe enough, parking over crowded with construction trucks . Free coffee never saw the free breakfast. I think next time I’ll spend more to get nicer place.

There was a luggage dolly for us to use to take our luggage to and from our room. In the room there was a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer, and a stove top with 2 burners. There were a lot of outlets for plugging in laptops and recharging cell phones. The bathroom was a good size, not a tiny space. There was a free continental breakfast and a workout room. We enjoyed our stay very much and were very comfortable there. We would definitely stay there again.

The property appeared nice inside. However the parking lot was full of heavy equipment and there were a limited number of open spaces. The room I rented appeared clean however there was a broken remote, broken couch parts, hairs in the bathroom, lightbulb out and writing on the windows. This property also charges a 100 dollar cash deposit, which I have never heard of and a 2 dollar replacement fee for a keycard. I had no problem putting a deposit down, but the fact that it had to be cash was such an inconvenience.

Found Cockroaches in room. Bathroom lock malfunctioning, bathroom faucet malfunctioning. Floors were dirty. Remote was filthy with crumbs and grease. Dog fecces and trash around the south side of building.

The property was very well kept and nice looking inside and out. At night it was lit up beautifully and safely. Our room and hallway area was excellent clean. Our bedding was fresh and the bathroom was spotless. I believe my " eyes and nose" and I don't believe people who are paid to leave negative reviews. Our bottom line is we would stay there again next time through West St Paul. Ps breakfast was coffee and juices and not much more, and that's ok w us.

All was well (not amazing but fine) until about 11pm when a party checked into the room next door and I discovered there is absolutely NO soundproofing. I could hear their conversation like it was happening in my room, and every time they dropped anything or opened/closed the door my bed shook. Sounded like 3-4 people in the room. This went on till 2am and started again at 8am. Pretty unhappy. If you sleep like a rock the motel is okay otherwise but I won't be booking again.

Rooms were very spacious and the kitchenette was great. The mattresses were very soft and when the cleaning service came between nights they didn’t leave fresh towels, make-up wipes, shampoo and didn’t make the bed. Safe area.

When checking in the person at the front desk was rude. I had not been aware of the $100 cash ONLY fee. I asked if it could be put on my card and he rudely said no then when I asked if there was an ATM i could use he just motioned to the left. Then of course the ATM had a $3 fee. Lobby smelt like fish and elevator stank as well. On here it says breakfast is 8-10 but it was 6-9. It was posted nowhere in the lobby. Skip this place when booking!

Through a website issue, I ended up with 2 reservations, neither of which the hotel would honor. Staff was arrogant, rude and very off-putting. The woman offered no help or suggestion on how to rectify the situation, so I left and booked a 'real' hotel; not some dirty, unfriendly spot! The woman was absolutely horrendous!

Check out was a disaster. Rang the bell for over 30 minutes…had to call on phone to get someone to show up. They refused to give me a bill and just wanted me to leave keys unprotected on the counter. When charge posted on credit card, l was overcharged which is why they wouldn’t give me a preliminary bill. I will challenge bill with credit card company. Poor service😡

This is the first time I have ever needed cash for a deposit for incidentals, have always used cards. They told us that if we didn’t have the cash deposit we would have to cancel. We would then lose our money, that we already prepaid, because it was less than 24hrs before the reservation. We gave in and gave $100 cash for the deposit, as it was after midnight and we were tired. When checkout came, the front desk guy just says, “ok you’re good to go.” Um no, where’s my deposit? We did get our deposit back. We would not recommend staying here, the staff is rude and not willing to help their customers find a solution to their very odd cash deposit. The rooms were less than ok. Our bathroom sink faucet was loose, our screen on the window was bent (kind of scary being on the first floor), along with many other small things. Also, the elevator smelled like urine! We could look passed all of that if the staff would have been friendly and the oddity of the cash deposit wasn’t there. I’d rather sleep in my car!

Checking in was a breeze. We got to our room and I think it may have been the wrong type of room as things that should’ve been in the room weren’t - such as coffee maker and dining area, also rainshower faucet in shower. The shower drain and bathroom faucet needed attending too and we let the front desk know upon checking out. There weren’t any dishes or cutlery in the room but we knew this beforehand and brought our own. The room was spacious and clean. The tv remote didn’t work but tv worked just fine. Breakfast was non-existent which was the only complaint we had. We had to give a $100 deposit but also knew this beforehand and it was promptly returned when we checked out. We will be returning.

Much nicer than anticipated after reading other reviews! Good distance from the airport and St Paul center, nothing in close proximity though regarding groceries, restaurants etc. The room was very big and no issues with cleanliness. There is a kitchenette but absolutely no utensils so fairly useless - a coffee machine would have been very welcome! Breakfast was lack lustre at best; no coffee, no milk, no knives to spread butter! We ordered Uber Eats. Overall, a good stay for the price.

Breakfast - almost non-existent. They had 5-6 min bagels, a few pieces of white bread, and some old waffels. In the mini fridge, only small butter packets. No fruit, drinks, cream cheese, milk, etc. Room with a King bed, but only a few thin pillows - minimal towels. Extended stay room with kitchenette, but no plates, utensils, or anything to utilize the kitchen space. Perhaps it has just been taken over by new managment - in our room were materials all branded to what seems to b an old name.
