Excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean with towels, fridge, kettle and even an espresso machine - very impressed! Even able to park the car for free! Can't understand why some people have left bad reviews - I'd stay again.

Great lottle hotel located in a nice village about 20 mins from Dublin. It was great to have a little car park in front of the building. Just wish they sent the check in info a day earlier to make it easier and that they offered a little fan as the room could get hot as the window doesnt open much and like everywhere in Ireland theres no AC.

I woke up covered in hives from either bugs or something used to wash the fabric of the sheets. There was no temperature control outside of heat and the room was so uncomfortably warm that I didn't sleep much. The shower smelled of mold and there were traces in the grout.

On a first glance room was great even though very small. It didn't correspond to 12sq.m Great amenities. Underfloor heating. You need to adjust the temperature on the heater & separately for underfloor heating. In the bathroom there was clear sign of dry rod & some mould. There were various switches but not clear marking for their purpose, so fan was a pure guess how to switch on. TV signal was very poor, may be something worth looking into? A great touch with Nespresso machine, however, that hasn't been cleaned for a while with container overflowing with coffee capsules & tray with dirty water. We arrived quite late, room had not been cleaned from previous guests’ stay. Bathroom and shower had hair in it. Bedsheets had been slept in. Carpet was filthy. Towel was folded but when opened had make up stains on it. Tried to email and call hotel no response until more than 12 hours later, with “sorry about the inconvenience “ they say security person is there, we saw no one. If you choose to stay, you need to request housekeeping prior to your arrival.

This property was absolutely disgusting, hair on the floor, the shower didn’t drain and water splattered into the bathroom, the drain was broke and the plug for it was sitting in the tub full of hair. We had to ask for more towels, they gave us two, didn’t go very far when you’re mopping up water. There was an open package of crackers on top of the microwave and three cans of beer in the dirty refrigerator. Blow dryer didn’t work, nor did the coffee pot. We knew there was no air conditioner, however the window opened about an inch, we were uncomfortably hot, it was an absolutely terrible experience. Pictures do not reflect an accurate representation of the property. Very disappointed.

Extremely dirty, worn room. There were smashed bugs into the wall and stains on curtains, carpet and bedding. Dust on all surfaces. Poor facilities in the room. Rooms not like pictures at all! Avoid at all costs.

The standard of cleaning left a lot to be desired, hairs in the shower, price stickers on the floor, kettle and coffee maker not cleaned. Instead of a table full of toilet rolls and towels in the hallway outside, a neater open shelving unit would be safer.

Room did not resemble the pictures on the website. There was a strong smell of blocked drains throughout the property. I arrived too late to make new arrangements for the first night so stayed, keeping the bathroom window open to try to manage the smell. No staff were available. Nobody answered the phone number provided. I did not stay the second booked night. Hotels.com say they have been trying to secure a refund for me, but with no joy. The hotel is not answering my emails. This is the sort of hotel that gives Dublin a bad reputation. I will not be using hotels.com again as, clearly, the information on the website is not a reliable indication of the quality of experience you can expect.

I had a heavy suitcase and had to wheel it over gravel to get to the steps and then had to lug my bag down stairs with no help. When I got to my room, it was so small that there wasn’t even room for a luggage stand to open my bag up. The sink in the bedroom with no light to put on my makeup was a cherry on top.

Was ok for short stay, but wouldn’t stay long. No staff on site, but they respond quickly to messages and are helpful. As far as the room, the blinds were broken, the wood trim in the bathroom was rotted and you could hear every step from above room. Bed also wasn’t comfortable and had dips in it.

Pleasant stay for a couple of nights. A bit far from city centre but easily reachable by bus that stops just outside the property. No staff is present there but they answered quickly when I needed help to enter the building. The room we stayed in was a bit small with one side of the bed against the window but it’s enough for one max 2 nights. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room! I would recommend for a short stay!

Good location. Clear check-in instructions. Nice to have a coffee machine. Room was on the smaller side, shower sprayed onto the floor, toilet was tight and the coffee machine needed cleaning out as stale water had been left in it. Room was really hot and restricted windows. Quilt thick, pillows x2 per person and I had to fold in home to get any volume. Half the tv channels didn’t work and people park like idiots. Lines need spraying or painting with how you want people to park. Location is fantastic, on a bus route and the room was plenty adequate for a stopover! Communal area downstairs to use too.

We checked in late at night and have first noticed the bathroom fan that was super loud. We tried closing the bathroom door, however the fan was on the whole night. In addition, another guest was able to enter our room and unlocked our door because the management 'mistakenly' gave 1 room to 2 different guests. I was already resting when I saw them open the door. In full shock that we had to ring the management that same night to move us to another room because of these 2 issues that happened within a span of 3 hours upon checking in. We demanded a refund due to this experience however this wasn't granted. Never got another room as they managed to fix the fan on our second night (out of 4 nights being there) therefore we had 2 sleepless nights because of the loud fan noise. Since they haven't moved us to another room, they have mentioned to change the locks as I expressed my concern about our security since knowing another guest knows the door code and was able to unlock this. Again, unfortunately they never changed this. The room and the location was alright. It's the experience that was disturbing and unsettling. Never got compensated for the bad experience despite raising concerns. A lot of room for customer service improvement here.

Check in wasn’t great. I got a message saying that my payment didn’t go through. I called (call #1) because I received an email that payment didn’t go through. When I reached the attendant. The payment had processed. I was supposed to receive codes to enter around 2pm. I never received the codes in email. I waited until 2pm before I left the airport. When I arrived around 3pm, I still had to call (call #2). Received codes in call. Went to room. Did not know how to activate the keypad. Luckily, another room helped me. Then got in the room. Didn’t have wifi password. Had to call again (call #3). Everything after that was great.

Had to wait an extra 1.5 hrs for our room because they didn’t have it cleaned by their listed check-in time. Staff were not helpful - they even sat in the same waiting room as us without mentioning they work there and continued to loiter and not clean our room until I had called the property manager for an update. Otherwise, rooms are clean and nicely renovated. Do note they tend to leave cleaning supplies/trash bags outside of rooms (tripping hazard) and can be quite noisy throughout the day/night.

Shouldn't be advertised as a hotel, it's more of an AirBnB with hotel prices. Only after you pay for the hotel was I informed that there were no staff at all manning the place. I was supposed to be given a access code for the front door and my room which they failed to do before hand. It was only after I arrived at the hotel that I had to call the support line and figure out how to access the hotel and room. Moreover, house keeping was only available on request and had to be requested before hand. No room-service or menu either.

The overall stay was amazing but check-in was a bit rough. We did not receive the email with all the details until 1:30 am the night we were staying. I had to email them when we arrived asking for the details in order to get in. Also, nobody answered the phone numbers they had. The rooms themselves were quiet, clean and comfortable.

What can I say about this trip? The place is nice enough although the photos were clearly taken years ago. Didn't receive a code to get in, the management are impossible to get hold of so we had to just turn up and hope for a miracle. Luckily a fellow guest let us in but had a similar experience to us and spent two hours trying to get in. The emergency numbers in the lounge are out of date, the management eventually answered - they don't like to answer mobiles due to spam WTAF when you have guests arriving. - but were less than helpful and tried to hang up saying use the code we have sent you. Honestly thought we would be sleeping on the street. The room was nice enough but there is no air con and the fridge didn't work. Wouldn't return due to the unnecessary stress of getting in. Area is great. Quiet with pubs and eating places within walking distance and plenty of buses into town

I would recommend you stay somewhere else. This accommodation doesn’t have a desk clerk and is supposed to send you a key code to access the front door. I waited 1 hour outside with no help or contact from the staff. I was tired and hungry, thankfully Expedia was great and helped me gain access to the front door, but after that I had to wait another hour as I still did not have any information regarding my room. I was also told that my room was not ready and this facility has on their page that check in is at 2pm. I arrived at 2:15pm - due to lack of communication from the staff I did not get my room/any information to access my room until around 4pm. Once in the room it did not look like any of the photos on their Expedia page and it was not overly clean and was run down. I have since emailed the staff at this establishment about my experience and have not gotten a response.

Very nice stay, on a 24hr bus line which helped a ton not having to pay for a taxi. Location is perfect as it is not very busy at night and very close to the city centre. Area felt very safe at night and the room was very comfortable

The location is really easy to navigate from within the city. Getting downtown was easy and cheap with the bus route right outside and down the street. We appreciated the cleaning staff and how kind and helpful they were and the addition of the common space to work/relax is a good help when you need to get some space to work. Totally recommend!

This is an old Victorian house converted into a hotel in a nice suburb of Dublin. No facilities at the property other than a coffee machine, but plenty of restaurants and shops within a few minutes on foot, and easy transport to Dublin city. The rooms are a little small but are modern and well-equipped. Good value for money.

This accommodation is in a good location, a bus stop literally 3 mins down from house. Take bus number 14 or 15b to go directly into city, Dame St or further. There is no food here but they have tea/coffee facilities in rooms & fridge. There is also a microwave in the front sitting room. I have stayed here several times and would recommend it.

A 6-day stay almost ruined. Had booked a small double room. Extremely surprised when we entered the room. It was a VERY small room! The bed was wall-to-wall and placed in front of the window. It was necessary to crawl acroos the bed to open the window or close/open the curtains. (I wonder if that is even legal??)No wardrobe for our clothes so the available floor space was taken up by our suitcases. There was a toilet and shower in an enclosed area, but the washhand basin was in the room itself!!!! As we had arrived in the evening we waited till the following day to contact the "owner" by message/mail as only housekeeping staff on site. The following day we got a positive response and a different room which met what we would call the minimum standard for a room in that price category. It saved the final 3 days of our visit, but no form of compensation offered!
