The hotel was fine. What I could not get over was the property and parking situation. There is a single lane driveway up to the hotel so you just sort of have to gauge whether anyone is coming the other way before pulling in. Same with the parking garage, except it’s way harder to see because there’s a turn involved so you have to just hope for the best. We pulled in the garage and were told to back out (of a very narrow garage, involved a turn, etc) because cars had to get out and it is the only entrance/exit… literally one maybe 8-foot wide lane. It was very stressful even with a small sedan and we ended up parking around the block to avoid issues at departure. I also saw no signs warning you that the lane served both directions - maybe they were there and I missed them but either way it’s unsafe. I’d stay elsewhere next time for these reasons alone.

For the weekend price i expected the interior to be a little better. I highly recommend not have fabric head boards for hotels as they were stains across them. The arrival date we only had access to the pool for 2 hours as the pool closes so early. Then someone rented out the roof top so we did t have any rooftop accessafter 5 30pm. We weren't accomdated at all for the inconvenience. I would not have book this hotel if the website informed us of the private and no rooftop/bar lounge access. Waste of money.

We stayed at this location for a few days and are satisfied with the experience. The area is pretty walkable, and there are plenty of dining and drink options around. The hotel bars are also pretty nice. The drinks were good! We had a chance to experience Aliya and the adjoining pool - which was nice. The water was clean and the temperature was pleasant. We got there early, so it wasn't too crowded, but there were a small number of lounge chairs available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back to this location.

I had reserved 2 rooms for our family stay and arriving at 3pm only one room was available. Other room was available in about 1/2 hour after I went to the front desk again (no offer from staff to text me when available). We planned to go swimming on the roof top pool but were told at check in that there are no children permitted after 1pm! (We were in town with a 10 and 7 yo) There is no information about this on their website or anywhere else for that matter. Turns out it is a 'private pool club' that does not allow children after 1pm because they begin to serve liquor at that time......It would have been great if we'd known this in advance. The large outdoor seating area off the lobby was closed off with a sign that stated it was closed for landscaping/renovation. Unsure what that timeline is........Rooms were good (have stayed here before); spacious for NYC, clean, great shower/pressure. Requested an additional hour for a noon check out and the front desk denied the request.

My family of four (with kids ages 5 and 8) really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. The staff were friendly and informative, our room was spacious and comfortable, and my kids absolutely loved the rooftop pool. We were concerned after reading some negative reviews about the pool not being accomodating to kids but we were happy to just use it in the morning. We were also informed right at check in about the rules (no children after 1pm) so there were no surprises. The hotel is in a great location being next to a subway station and a short walk from many cafes and restaurants. You have to try the birria taco truck across the street in the evening, it's delicious!

I visit this hotel on a regular basis because of its prime location next to the train stops in Williamsburg and rooftop pool. It’s a generally affordable accommodation for the area, and I also enjoy the various amenities, especially the cafe downstairs, the common area and the small gym. Pool area was very busy as expected. I also enjoy the mixity of patrons, ranging from families with kids, business travelers, grand parents, girl trips. Overall greeters and front desk employees were wonderful and welcoming. Rooms and overall property are starting to show their age. Nothing too crazy, but chipped paint, lightly stained carpets, couches in common area that are showing signs of wear and tear. Nothing out of the ordinary for a property that is over 10 years old, but you notice. I thought the level of cleanliness could be improved, especially at the pool. It’s the little things, for example the dusty and empty hand sanitizer at the entrance, that signal that the staff isn’t really paying attention to details. Housekeeping was more hit or miss. We called to request toilet paper on 3 consecutive days as they were not replenishing it without a reminder. Again, the details… Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel for an affordable option in Brooklyn.

I gave it a 3 stars because yes the hotel is nice, the food good & the staff was amazing, BUT the bed was rock hard and had a lot of dirt stains on the bed frame. It didn’t look like the room had been swept or wiped down. Since the bed was so uncomfortable I had back pain all weekend and couldn’t sleep. I’m assuming an event was happening and guess our room was above the event room and the music was just crazy loud. Also there were soooo many flies in the shower/ bathroom kind of grossed me out. For the amount of money that is charged for the room I was just expecting it to be 10/10.

The room could’ve definitely been cleaner you can tell they just swept things under the bed, like I found lots of rose petals & even someone’s dried contact lens on the floor. But overall I enjoyed my stay, the main attraction really is the rooftop pool.

Hotel staff are very responsible and helpful. I forgot to take out stuff from the save box. Called hotel reception and the service manager took care of this right away. I got my stuff back safely. Thank you! Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel location is right next to M subway line. Overall very pleasant stay.

We loved our stay! The hotel is modern and very clean. The rooms are spacious compared to many NYC hotels. The staff were all really attentive and helpful. The area is very walkable and near many train stops. My partner and I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, contemporary boutique hotel feel. Room was spotless, the bed firm and comfortable and the best pillows I’ve ever experienced. Fantastic water pressure in shower. Highly recommended!

Really dirty rooms, I was grossed walking in the room I had. Curtains were filthy, the bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed. Bedding was terrible it was basically only a top sheet. Staff was rude and dismissive.

I booked a king room with balcony and city view. I had a king room with the view of garbage and a highway. All night I heard the cars. When I went all the balcony all I seen was garbage no city view at all. It was horrible. The television made a loud noise blocking out the sound of the shows. The bed was extremely noisey as well as the refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold.

The room served its purpose for sleeping but was less than stellar for comfort. It was beat up, had no chair even to sit in and had low platform extremely hard beds that weren’t ideal for lounging at all. The location was convenient for us because of its proximity to our relatives that live in the area and also the subway access just outside the main entrance. We felt it was grossly overpriced and nothing special to reflect that price.

Walls are paper thin, we stayed on the 4th floor and hear a jazz band until 11:30PM I called the desk at 10:50PM they said they have a fiction going on and security is aware of the situation. People slamming doors all night/ I could hear conversations like they were in our room people up to 4:00. I complained at the front desk they stated sorry nothing else.

Lovely lobby and friendly staff. Super small room on top floor with a king bed and pocket door to the bathroom (which was right next to the side of the bed). It’s NYC, so small is normal. My husband had a conference call for work, and they don’t have a business center, and there was no desk/chair in our room, so he had to take the work call in the very loud lobby (fyi, in case you have to do any work). They do charge an extra $200/night, which is refundable in 7-10 days if there is no damage to your room. The location is nice for Williamsburg BK.

The front desk personnel were terrible in their jobs. The lady with thong hair on 31st May shift at noon was rude snapped and unable to apologize for any slowness in service experienced. She backed her view of the hotel’s policy and unapologetic about it. I requested for an early check in but she would have none of that as all check in has to wait till 3pm which was unreasonable to me. Asked for the manager on duty who never showed up. Only to have my keys brought to whee I was seating in their lounge without any pointers as to how to get to the room and facilities available during my stay

I booked this hotel specifically for the pool and a late-night pool party that was supposed to take place at the Aliya Cocktail Den. I called four separate times before booking — including directly to Aliya Cocktail Den — and each time I was told the pool party would be happening on July 25th. When I arrived, I was told the event wasn’t happening at all. No explanation, no notice — just completely false information after multiple confirmations. To make matters worse, the female front desk staff were dismissive, cold, and unhelpful. I calmly expressed my frustration, but no one took accountability or even offered an apology. The hotel is beautiful, but the lack of communication and poor customer service made my stay disappointing. First impressions matter, and the front desk really set a negative tone.

I like the property - the location is fabulous and the roof pool is wonderful along with the restaurant - but after staying last year the staff proved very inflexible this time. Do to travel changes I ended up paying over 1000.00 for my one night stay - not even a passing attempt made at refunding me, (I did book a non-refundable rate in their defense) but there was no effort made at offering me a free late checkout or even a water when I checked in at 2:00am with my family due to flight delay/cancelation. A small gesture would have gone a long way. I like the indigo brand and recently stayed at another location that was fantastic - but ultimately will not stay here again and will likely never stay at another due to my experience.

The hotel manager Chandler was amazing! Called to check on my reservation and made sure our rooms were ready when we arrived! The whole staff from the desk receptionist to the lobby cafe were just great! I appreciated how friendly and welcoming everyone was! I will definitely be back to the hotel! Excellent quality facility and services. Very modern, clean, and with a very strong staff. Location is extremely convenient - right on the L and other main subway lines and with ride shares showing up within 5 mins at all hours. Very easy to get to other parts of Brooklyn and into Manhattan. Neighborhood is still very up and coming - overlooks a busy highway, streets and infrastructure under construction, streets not clean, limited shops and restaurants - but is a 15 minute walk to more established areas of Williamsburg. Very good value for the overall experience if you can overlook the rough edges.

Perfect for a staycation. Beautiful property, quiet and clean. The food at Continent is delicious and room service was great. My only recommendation would be an earlier start time for breakfast; between 6am and 7am and not the current start time of 8am for room service. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here. I will certainly visit again.

The location is very good. The bed was very comfortable. The food service was terrible and the staffing there caused the one person to be missing often. The coffee was awful and it was outright insulting that there are only decaf Keurig cups available in the room when there was otherwise no complimentary coffee. The décor is fresh but much of it was form over function. The toilet paper dispenser was preposterous. We had to call the engineer to help us figure out the HVAC.
