This is a solid hotel. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Temple Bar district and all the nightlife of downtown Dublin. The staff were very friendly and professional. The bar was very chill and had good pours on the drinks. The restaurant had good food. The only downsides are that there's no swimming pool or hot tub on site, but then again, you almost never get those in most European hotels anyway. I'd definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed 2 nights at Hyatt Centric The Liberties in Apr 2025. The hotel is newer and has a lovely resto-bar area, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and is conveniently situated to walk to most attractions within 15 to 20 mins (Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar, Trinity University, etc.). We enjoyed the large and comfy bed, great linens, hot shower and availability of secure parking (for a fee). Would return here and highly recommend!

Hotel is very nice and walkable to all shopping, bars and major sites. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Lots of nice amemities at the hotel. Extremely disappointed with the parking situation. I booked this hotel specifically for on-site parking, as it's my first time driving on the left side and navigatimg by myself. When we arrived, there was no available parking at the hotel. I had to wander to a side street to call the hotel to figure out where to park. There was a garage about a 7 minute walk away dragging luggage. I see on the hotel's website that this garage is mentioned in case the hotel garage was full but i couldnt find this information anywhere on the expedia site.

Property was nice and in an excellent location. We could easily walk to everywhere we wanted to go as this is in such a central location in Dublin. All positives (especially the very friendly and helpful staff) except the parking is tough. There is a very small parking garage that had gate issues where we couldn’t get in or out for about 4 hours, our car was hit by another car in the garage, and when we did go in and out it was hard to find a parking spot because they are limited. I guess this is downtown Dublin issue of parking overall. With that said, we would stay again, but just wanted to share that parking is tough.

Overall, we liked our stay at this hotel. The location is great- lots of easy access to central streets, bars, coffee shops, bus stops, and interesting sites. The hotel is lovely inside - the bar has nice ambiance and a good selection of drinks. The staff working at the bar are amazing and very attentive. Our room on the 4th floor was in a good location- quiet. However, there are signs of age within the room (marks on the walls, carpet stains, dust in corners of the ceiling and other areas, some mold in the shower tiles). The air in the room was very dusty - you can see dust floating as soon as you turn on lamps. I also found it frustrating that there are very few hooks within the bathroom to hang up towels - please consider adding more for guests’ convenience because it’s difficult to dry towels in the room. Also would have appreciated extra toilet paper to be left in the room.

Nice hotel but housekeeping was very poor. Our room never got serviced and after calling reception to ask for towels which never arrived, I had to go and find one of the housekeepers myself to swap the towels and get the bin emptied. Comfortable bed though and lovely shower. It was a bit noisy with the road but ok at night.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Friendly staff, no problem with early check-in or other questions during our stay. Room had a good size, nice new bathroom and good Wi-Fi. Tesco shop close by, nice empty minibar for cold drinks. Good breakfast, although you must be aware that they serve breakfast at your table, you get a menu and can choose some options. Personally, I am not a fan of this way of doing it, I much prefer to go choose my own food and at times you get the feeling that they are a bit skimpy on what you get. 2 persons hardly got any bread (well the same as one person), when commenting about it, it was said to reduce wasted food..but we could just ask for more bread if we really needed. Small juice glass offered. A bit of a hassle I feel personally. We got a bit tired of the menu also after a while, was limited things to choose from really, especially with staying 7 days I guess. One day for example they were out of fresh fruit! Cleaning was a bit on and off, not all things were replenished every day (like soap for example) and one day no housekeeping altogether. Also took a few days to fix dirty linen. One day we had 3 cleaners coming into the room. A bit disorganized maybe.

Hotel was clean, rooms were well insulated from noise, and room was spacious. Required an accessible room and the bathroom was fully equipped to meet needs. We accidentally blew a fuse and management was responsive and understanding. Management went above and beyond to help problem solve an issue that arose.

Without doubt our worst hotel stay while in Europe. If you must stay here don’t accept a room ending with an odd number. Odd number rooms face a busy street and no attempt at noise reduction is built in. But the most noise comes around 0500 when delivery trucks park at the front and wheel what maybe food or laundry off the truck and down the street into the hotel. We booked a king room in late July for an October stay but upon arrival find out all they’ve done is pushed two twin beds together. We feel this is a misrepresentation at least and outright fraud at the most. If staying in this area is important to you then I suggest The Maldron on Kevin street. It’s around the corner and you’re likely to have a room with a St. Patrick’s Cathedral view. We wouldn’t stay at another Hyatt property again, even if it’s free.

We expected better when staying at this hotel. The phone didn’t work in the room and the staff was unresponsive. The room was clean and comfortable enough but felt stuffy and humid most of the time. It had air but it was finicky and tough to use. Overall we wished we had a better experience in this Hyatt.

The staff were all cheerful, polite, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Without exception all were great. That’s everything. Oh and the spotless rooms were also great. And the breakfast is the best deal I’ve ever had at a hotel. Excellent choice, taste, and quality.

The staff was excellent! Our luggage did not make it to Ireland for a few days, so the manager and staff provided some toiletries to help us right away. The room was very clean and location was great.! Can easily walk to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church, Temple Bar area, Grafton Street, Ha’penny Bridge, and Liffey river walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel, good location and nice rooms. We paid for breakfast which is all table service… however service was shocking. There was a group 6 of us but both mornings the order was wrong. And the second morning my own breakfast arrived 20mins after everyone else. No apology. Coffee machine went down too so only filter coffee. Poor from a good hotel.

The hotel is lovely,and I would recommend it to anyone, the area was lacking anywhere for good eating. We found we had to taxi it to find nice places to eat and drink. You can walk, but everything is a good way away.

The staff at the Hyatt was wonderful! We didn't want to stay in the Temple Bar area so we chose the Liberties and it was literally across the street from St. Patrick's cathedral and we were able to walk to the Guiness Storehouse! I would stay here again!

Really nice hotel within walking distance to main attractions in Dublin. I was upgraded on this trip which was really nice. Comfortable room and welcoming lobby. I highly recommend this hotel. The only improvement I would suggest is better service during breakfast. It took quite a long time for someone to even come over to our table and then we had to search for someone later to get the bill. I would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel itself is OK. Never stayed at a "Centric" Hyatt before but figured it was somewhere in between Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Place; it was closer to "Hyatt Place". I don't know if that's standard in Europe but I expected something more. The only 5-star rating I would give this place are the hard working staff who aren't given much to work with. The real disappointment was the breakfast that was a 15 EUR additional charge per person. To be honest, it definitely wasn't worth the money. Maybe we were spoiled by the great food in neighboring restaurants, but the quality of the food was more McDonalds and less whatever we were expecting...

We wouldn’t hesitate recommending this property to anyone staying in Dublin. The front desk staff were friendly and professional and we were warmly greeted by Carmen upon arrival. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room and dinner there on the last night of our stay and both food and service were excellent! We were greeted by all staff we came into contact with. Excellent property all around!
