This hotel was very good. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with the hotel items served by a friendly individual. Gym and landry facilities but no pool. I stay here every year.

All great although the wi fi was out temporarily. I usually stay at Hilton but this location has an EV charger and is at the midpoint of my 1200 mile trip.

This hotel was very clean, and very comfortable. The service was great, with the desk clerks being very friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was good, even if hot food choices were a bit limited. There was plenty of it. The fitness center had a choice of cardio equipment and free weights. The toiletries were nice dove products and the most amazing thing is the bed was comfortable!!

I needed to do some laundry and the washer and dryer were spotless and easy to use.

It is conveniently located right off the highway. The room was spacious and clean. There is a Tesla supercharger adjacent to the site

We LOVE this hotel. This is our daughter's third year at Trine University and we have stayed here several times. However, we haven't stayed in a little while, and noticed that they changed a few things. The breakfast is now all self serve. (In the past, waffle maker & hot food containers were facing the back and an employee cooked waffles & served all hot food.) The coffee is different as well, and is still decent hotel coffee. We are glad for the change when it's a busy morning. I do miss the English muffins though. 😜 We made use of the little food pantry they have this time. The food is fairly well priced and if you just need a quick bite or to grab some protein, they have good options - frozen meals, packs of seasoned tuna, protein bars, chips, snacks, drinks, etc. They can put cost on the credit card you booked with, soo you don't have to bring cash down. I loved the mint chip Klondike bar. 😁😁 The beds are comfy, bathroom is large, a/c works great. It is always very clean. Plenty of parking. Definitely stay here if you are in town and remember to book over the phone if you are coming into town for Trine. They have a Trine rate that is often better than other options.

Well maintained and upkept

The property was well maintained. The desk staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were great and pillows were fantastic. Breakfast was great with a chef to make omelets. I will stay here again.

Everything was good just missing a swimming pool

Clean, safe and quiet. Easy access from the Indiana Turnpike but far enough away in a quiet, safe and convenient location. Comfortable beds, great accommodations in the room and a well lit parking lot. Quick and easy checkin and checkout. Everything's we needed and were looking for in a one night stay.

Wad of hair in shower drain… laying on top of it. The pen that was left in the room to use was chewed on. Makes me wonder how clean my room really was. Desk Staff was friendly. Comfortable beds!

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint the whole stay was a dirty pillow in my room. There was a big stain on the pillowcase. I took it to the lobby right after I checked in. They apologized and were very nice about it.

The Wingate was comfortable and extremely clean. It felt like a brand new hotel, and we will definitely stay again!

Our room smelt like animal urine. Staff offered points instead of money off. Property was nice.

The hotel and rooms look nice, but in the morning when I went to take a shower, I could see the bathroom floor was dirty. I don't think it had been cleaned between guests; lots of dark hair on the floor definitely not mine and just plain dirt. I mentioned this to someone in the hallway and the front desk person and i don't think either one responded. The breakfast was also not very good. Much of the food was cold and the eggs were actually wet with water. I think they need new warming dishes and the staff needs to be trained to stir the oatmeal and eggs before serving them instead of just taking it from the top which is NOT the warmest part. The waffles were good at least.

Enjoyed my stay. The only problem is the AC units in the rooms do not have a constant fan setting and the unit turning on and off would wake me up.

The room and property was very nice. However my room 214, had horrible noise from the elevator. It was difficult to sleep when you heard the elevator shaft with each use. Otherwise, everything was great.

Was a really nice hotel. On the edge of town with a wonderful view of the trailer park! Only complaint was the couch was pretty uncomfortable. Nice place to stay.

The hotel manager, called me a "Poopy Head" and used "Poop" multiple times at check in. I was shocked and embarrassed and just got though it to get away from her. Later on she was checking in other people and didnt say obscenities to them. First and last time I\'ll ever stay there or suggest that place to anyone else. All I did was book a room..

The hotel is rather new so it’s still in great shape. There’s not much to do locally. It’s kind of the hotel that you stay at when you’re just passing through.

This is the best hotel in Angola. New and modern, it’s right off the interstate with easy access to lakes and shopping needs. It’s our 3rd year staying here and we’ll continue to do so.

I asked at the Front Desk when they opened because the facility looked brand new. I was very surprised when I was told 5 years! The staff was courteous and efficient. I was particularly impressed with the morning breakfast. This was the cleanest and best organized morning complimentary breakfast I have ever experienced. Kudos to the Breakfast Associate in charge.

Clean, clean, clean. Glad we spent the extra money over some of the other hotels in the area. Friendly staff, and respectful guests. Breakfast is back and better than ever. They even have a server for the free breakfast! No need to wait for people to figure out the waffle maker. We will stay here again the next time we need a place to stay in the area.

We stayed at this property for one night while traveling through. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausages and the usual continental buffett items - not gourmet, but good for a start into the day. The only thing that was a little odd was that there was staff folding big stacks towels in the lobby when we arrived, other than that nothing out of the ordinary and we would definitely stay at this property again.

I really didn't care for the breakfast because the breakfast was pretty dry. The potatoes were so dry the eggs tasted like they were kind of burnt even though they were microwaved. So overall with the breakfast I was not pleased what so ever.

One of the most comfortable stays in the Angola, IN area! We stayed here while my daughter had a performance nearby, and it was a great experience overall. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. My only small complaint is about the breakfast and coffee—both could use some improvement. The coffee was quite watery, and the breakfast selection wasn’t the best. Still, it’s a solid choice for comfort and service in the area. Would stay again!

Our room was great. Large bathroom counter, very large shower, large desk, even a make-up mirror in bathroom. The bathroom door has frosted glass, but don't let that concern you. We travel with shy teens, so we experimented. 😋 If you step back from the door about 2ft, you are very obscured and no one can see whether you are undressed or not. I loved the chair and reading light in the corner, but wish there was a stool or small table by it. For breakfast they had eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, several kinds of toast & English muffins, juices, milks, yogurt, cereal, instant oatmeal packets. Our only complaint is that you have to wait for a staff member to serve you the hot food items. So if 5 people are waiting to get hot food & you want a waffle, you still wait while they are all served even if waffle iron is empty. Had we known this, we would have planned extra time for breakfast since we had an appointment at Trine University at 8am. Give yourself 45 minutes for breakfast. 30 minutes was not enough if there is a line. If no one is waiting, then it's not an issue. We've stayed at many, many hotels that offer a free buffet in the past 10 years, and there are definitely ways to streamline this process. We will mention this at checkout. Overall, it is a lovely hotel! They told us that they offer a discount for families/students of Trine University, but you need to book directly through them to use it. 🙂 We will definitely stay here again.
