Most staff was very courteous and helpful. Booked stay online for price quoted after arriving at my location and several days into stay was charged different amount daily. Staff stated they charge nightly rates based on occupancy. Nightly rate at that time was more than double the rate I booked for. Staff stated owner could charge any rate and then was provided customer service phone number. TV in room didn’t work and front desk person was unable/refused to accommodate for 3 days. On 4th day, different front desk person offered/provided me a different room for the remainder of my stay. This staff employee took time to check out tv in both rooms. Breakfast was okay for most of the stay. Front desk will provide minimal assistance with coins for laundry services on site. Bring your own quarters for laundry facility. Room overall cleanliness was good. Could pay more attention to some cleaning details. Did have some type of live bug in bathroom sink towards end of stay.

What a rip off! 5 people all sitting around, i needed a icebucket, it was hot, the lady wouldnt even get up from the other room to say, ill bring it when i come up there!!!! Carpets nasty. Go to James-ton inn. A lot lower price, clean and a pool. Sleep in sux!

If I could give zero stars I would. There were wrappers and a hair bonnet between the mattress and wall. We came back the second night at 9:30 only to find a hand written note on the elevator that it was broken and someone was coming to fix it, we were on the forth floor and I have a handicap challenged child. No one was at the front desk. We got up for breakfast and the elevator was still out of order when I went to the front desk to see if they were going to assist in getting our stuff down from the 4th floor as we would be checking out another worker used a tool to get the elevator to work. Unfriendly staff, the free breakfast was mediocre at best, the next time I will drive farther to stay somewhere else.

good value for the money , a few small issues that can easily be corrected.our check-in was smooth and front desk friendly.we did notice some stains on the carpet walking down the hallway to our room, when we entered our room, the AC had a musty smell, the A/C is likely due to have the coils cleaned. We also noticed mold in the shower, but overall the room was clean. The beds were made the sheets look good and comfortable.we would stay again .

Since it’s essentially the only hotel in Baxley, it’s refreshing to see that the employees are nice and the hotel continues to remain clean and in great physical condition. The walls in the room are paper thin, but other than that, this hotel is pretty good for a short stay. No complaints.

When we enter the room, we notice that our DOOR KEYPAD LOCK from the inside is broken. Like the wirings and the batteries are exposed. We took a picture of it and showed to front desk ladies but they said it was fine as long as the key card is working. Nobody even tried to check it out themselves because I am talking about the door lock that concerns our safety while we are staying in the hotel. And they don’t have a hair dryer/ hair blower in the room. Again, I called the front desk to report it because it was supposed to be included in the room and I don’t want to be mistakenly charge for an equipment that wasn’t available in the first place. They said they don’t know why it was not their and they cannot do anything about it. I mean, it’s just a hair dryer and it’s not like I cannot leave without it but the fact of the matter on how they handle things and issues reported to front desk is what I don’t like. But still thankful for our stay despite the issues we encountered. I just hope this review will help improve the front desk personnel in handling the concerns of the people who is staying in the hotel.

Screaming and yelling in the room next door during the late-night hours. We reported it to the desk around midnight, when the noise was taking place. We were told there was nothing they could do about it because they were in their room. Extremely disappointed in this response. The noise continued for a couple of hours.

The room was dusty in the común areas Was smelling strong like a nasty feet’s Breakfast was okay food was good , only thing is To look like people from the neighborhood come bay the get a free breakfast, they don’t look clean like people to stay in the hotel Other things they consider early checking show up 30 minutes before 3 , but have to pay extra $20 dollars for that finish paying to much for this hotel

The first room we were put in, had an odor to it. Joshua at the front desk, took care of that right away, and moved us to a different room. Very good breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, fried eggs, sausage, patties, grits, cold, cereals, yogurt, muffins and toast, orange juice, and coffee. Joshua Jackson and Lauren at the front desk were awesome.
