I definitely would not give this place a five star. It’s seems to be outdated. Rooms are gloomy to me. The swimming pool was freezing cold. Even after being in it your body would not adjust. It was so cold. Check the water flow valves to see if warm water was coming in. They weren’t even on. I had to use the guest laundry room. The washer had a strong odor of mildew. Staff was very polite.

Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast good with hot options. Pool was a disappointment. It was freezing cold and the whole area smelled just awful like there was a chemical imbalance. Wish we would have been told this about the pool ahead of time as we would have booked elsewhere

We appreciated the breakfast buffet. We were glad for the late hours available for the swimming pool since we arrived late. Staff was excellent. We look forward to returning in the future.

We went for a family wedding. They were very accommodating to us all. Breakfast was great with several choices. Clean and nice pool area.

Staff was very pleasant and professional. Very patient. Upon walking in there are cookies, fresh popcorn and fresh lemon water. There is a drink station (coffee,juice and cocoa) is 24 hours. The pool was clean. Fresh towels in the pool area. Room was clean so was the bathroom. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Fresh breakfast every morning lots to choose from. Staff was constantly cleaning the dining area and the entry way. Family of 5 had an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. The staff was always welcoming and sweet to our kids. Our kids loved the popcorn and cookies throughout the day. I loved the 24/7 coffee machine in the lobby.

Room was clean. Staff was very helpful. My girls loved the popcorn and cookies in the lobby. Swimming pool was wonderful!

One associate in particular stood out - Rachel. She ran the front desk on Christmas Eve, and was back on Christmas Day to set up breakfast. She was friendly and efficient. Also the facility is very clean. We will be staying there next month for a few days.

First thing after getting off the elevator onto our floor, it smelled awful. There was a heavy presence of cigarette smoke. Once into the room, the smoke smell continued. It did improve over the stay. The room was clean and staff was very friendly throughout the stay.

Staff were very kind. Room had many stains on the carpet & ceiling, mold in the bathroom, and a foul odor on the bedding. It was also very, very noisy. Not much available for breakfast if you have any diet limitations but the man cooking was very kind.

This is a very nice facility, very clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Really nice breakfast and coffee, water available always, cookies and popcorn offered in the evening. Our only recommendation would be to add grab bars in the tub area. It was a little scary for an older person without any mobility problems.

I'm not sure how they got such a high rating. Though they were quick to switch our room the first one had insect ?parts? on the bed. Both rooms looked under cleaned. The hotel is not well maintained or cleaned.

This is a quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. The room was large.

Came here for the eclipse with our 5YO and were pleased with the quality of the hotel. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a large leather sofa in a lounge area. The room was very large. And it was clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner was reasonably quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby was clean and breakfast was quite generous. Sausage, omelets, biscuits and gravy, 2 kinds of waffle irons (regular and mini) with 2 kinds of waffle batter (plain or maple cinnamon), plus toppings. Despite being fully booked for the eclipse, it didn’t seem crowded or hard to get what was needed, and parking was fine also. The area around the hotel was nice, typical off highway suburban strip mall type area, but new-ish. Also, just a few minutes drive from downtown Marysville which seemed really neat, though many businesses weren’t open when we were there since it was not during their normal operating hours. My only negative notes about the hotel room, the towel hook was loose in the bathroom and fell off the wall when wet towels were hung on it. And there were few USB charging ports in the room (plenty of outlets, but you need to bring adapters) I think just one on the clock radio was all there was. These are very minor issues. I’d definitely stay here again if I had to do it over. It made an unforgettable experience even better.

Drain in shower didn’t work. Had to physically hold the drain open to drain the tub after showering. The AC didn’t work well. It wouldn’t cool the room below 75 even when set at 70 or lower.

This was a relatively quiet hotel. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are two restaurants within walking distance.

I picked this hotel because it said it had a balcony. Technically it does, but the balcony is very narrow with not even enough room for a chair so it is not usable. This was very disappointing. They clean the room every 3rd day and while I understand they are being mindful of the environment, I think that every other day would be a better compromise.

When we first arrived we like the hotel. However when we came back after a long night we discovered the mattress was extremely stiff and the frame definitely needs replaced. The lights randomly stopped working in the entire room after our first night even though the rest of the room seemed to have power. Balcony isn’t worth the extra few bucks the only view is a Walgreens

The property was conveniently located and clean. The main issues were the fridge thawed out and we lost most of our food. The staff didn't seem concerned about our loss on this. Also, the breakfast provided did not contain options for people with special dietary concerns. It would be good to have more oatmeal and fruit for vegan customers. Finally, we couldn't sleep after about 5:30 am because the customers above us kept stomping around. I almost called the front desk about this, but the walls should one more sound proof.

I am a travel RN working 7p-7:30a @ OSU Exner Med. Ctr. & due to the holiday weekend & all the activities in Columbus I was unable to stay at the hotel I usually stay at so this hotel had 1 room available & the front desk person had it cleaned so I could obtain the room earlier ~9:30 a.m. but then my check-out time could only be extended until 12noon on 5/31 despite my asking & explaining again about my work night shift schedule so staying until 5 pm. but only way was to pay another day! I have found this to be a common problem often at hotels not being flexible with night shift medical staff. I rest of the stay was comfortable & I slept great! So this day I left before noon, tried to sleep at a rest area in my vehicle & outside temperature too hot so I went to OSU parking garage & slept in my vehicle. Thanks for listening.

The hotel was staff was amazing, they were always friendly and pleasant, and Haley asked where we were eating dinner and gave us discount coupons. The hotel was clean and quiet and they had complimentary coffee, lemon water, juice, cookies and popcorn in the lobby. The beds were comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay there again when we go back to the Columbus Zoo.

I’ve stayed here before several times and have had very good experiences. This time the type of rooms were not reserved properly by the staff, including handicap accessible. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The staff allowed a party in the common area on a Saturday night and I had to call at 11:30 to ask them to keep it down. This should have automatically been done at 10pm for the comfort of the other guests. The hotel boasts freshly baked cookies on the 3-11 shift but the clerk working that night gave them to her friends who were enjoying pizza in the lobby. I reported all to the manager who said some people need additional training. No real apology, no discount. NOTHING. We stayed in 2 rooms for 5 nights. This wasn’t an inexpensive stay. Very disappointed.

Front desk had a lot of difficulty checking us in for the night. Evidently issues in the computer.

Check-in was easy and Michelle at the desk was very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and had no odor. Carpet had some light stain areas but vacuumed well and had no odor. For food you can walk across the parking lot to Boston’s Restaurant or Bob Evans. Lots of other restaurants in area too. We discovered gelato at Eda’s down the street….Very good! We will mostly come back.

We were pleasantly surprised with how well we liked this hotel. We stayed there so we could visit the Columbus Zoo and the Ohio Caverns for a mini spring break vacation. This hotel was in the middle of both places. The breakfast was great! My son has Celiacs and needs gluten free options. The breakfast attendant was so kind and helpful. She showed me the boxes with the ingredients so we knew what was safe for him. They had a lot of great options for everyone and over the 3 days there was some variety. The options we had were biscuits and gravy, eggs, tots, toast, bagels, waffles, ham, sausage, cereals, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, fruit. The attendant was on top of it and kept everything full throughout breakfast. The kids also loved that in the evenings the lobby had a popcorn machine where you could help yourself. There was little bags to fill. There was also individually wrapped cookies set out in the evening. All day there was fresh lemon water and coffee available. The only complaint would be the pool was on the small side. But this was obvious from the pictures and not a surprise. The front desk staff was also very kind to our family. They had positive attitudes and gave us extra towels and shampoo when we needed them. If we ever come back to the area we would stay here again!

The room was very clean and quiet, staff were courteous and kind, the free breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. My only complaint is that our room's shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty so I had to go to the front desk to get some. Overall a really good hotel though.

The location was very clean. I appreciated the breakfast that was more than just continental. However, the coffee offered with the breakfast bar was awful. It was just bitter and acidic.

Great stay!! Will definitely stay again if we come back to Columbus area! Out of several hotels this checked off all our needs for an affordable price. Free Breakfast was also 10/10
