The price was right and the small room was clean. The motel is close to Walmart, which was a great convenience, and the microwave and fridge both worked fine. It was very handy to be able to park right outside the door to our room. I wouldn't recommend this for an extended stay, but for one night on a longer trip, it was perfect.

One of the best things of this place is the bird song in the morning. And the yard with trees where I could sit with my friend in the evening. Plant more low-maintenance bushes and keep the green growing. That was really lovely. For a breakfast option, it would be a plus to have fresh pastry (muffins, bagels,etc) from the Hannaford's across the street. Or even, from a local bakery in Skowhegan! Individual bedside lamps would be preferred to one light over the beds. That makes it easier if one person wants to read and the other wants to sleep.

Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, awesome breakfast(continental plus waffles and eggs). Property on the outside needs a little upkeep but it is a work in progress for the new management. Would definitely stay there again!

Limited options in Skowhegan but this was pretty nice as Motels go, a good value, and convenient to where we needed. Some updates have been made with fresh bedding and decor and there is a nice shady lawn area. Opportunities to improve with outdoor furnishings, healthier breakfast choices, and a little more detail cleaning.

This motel is pretty basic but acceptable if you need a pet-friendly place to spend the night in Skowhegan. It's on the main drag so lots of places to get supplies, something to eat, gas up, charge the EV, etc.

We stayed here overnight for the Special Olympics equestrian meet. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast space was a little small, but not a huge issue. Will definitely be back next year.

It was too noisy. The people in the next room were playing music too loud at 2 am and people were speaking too loud. Too much smoking which smelt terrible. The beds have bed bugs and some of them bit me and my partner at night.

Room had a terrible smell of smoke and very dirty. Lots of bugs. Did not feel comfortable in the area and very noisy. No one seemed to be around for breakfast which had stale bagels and coffee was terrible. Tried to contact the hotel however no answer.

The new owner have done a remarkable renovation on this property. Room overall excellent, plenty of plugs where you need them to be. Highly recommend this property to any future travelers. Keep in mind this is an old school motel brought into the 2024 world.

Affordable, clean, updated, and they had a waffle maker in the continental breakfast! We got in late due to traffic and weather- about 10:30 at night, and they were there and understanding. Only small downsides- we only had 3 sets of towels for a family of 4- and the heating system was confusing. But overall, we were very comfortable there, stayed warm, had full bellies the next day, and will stay again.

Breakfast room at reception had strong odour of naphthalene (moth balls) which they should try to eliminate. Thankfully, only there. Hot breakfast had limited choice but was OK.

C’est un motel propre. Sans plus. On n’y séjourne pas une semaine, mais si tout ce qu’on a à y faire est dormir, c’est parfait. Frigo et micro-ondes dans la chambre, pratique. Lit relativement confortable. La chambre n’est pas superbe, mais acceptable. La salle de bain aurait besoin d’un peu d’amour, mais propre et fonctionnelle. J’avais un spectacle et allais arriver tard, ils m’ont permis de faire l’enregistrement à midi, ce qui a bien dépanné. Le déjeuner vous permet de prendre un café et une bouchée: pain, bagels, beurre d’arachides, fromage à la crème, confiture, céréales et gauffres. Des œufs congelés sont aussi offerts, mais ça semblait un peu louche. Pas de fruits ou viande. Et l’odeur qui régnait dans la pièce le matin était horrible; un genre d’odeur d’encens qui prend à la gorge, ça donnait juste envie d’aller déjeuner ailleurs!! Bref; pour dormir à un prix raisonnable c’est parfait, mais ne vous attendez à aucun luxe et partez à votre réveil.
