Great! Has only 5 parking spots but can park on the street! Walking distance to Belmont brewing company!

Everything was perfect except the shower head was busted and water pressure wasn’t good. The parking was great! Perfect location away from the downtown traffic but close enough to Lyft. Next to the beach, good service. We will be back if staying in LB again.

It was affordable and clean. We just needed a place to sleep before catching the early Catalina Island ferry. Desk clerk was polite and hospitable when we arrived at 9pm. Bathroom was oddly huge, bedroom tiny. Even with blackout shades, the bright parking lot lights lit up the room all night. We got coffee and breakfast at Starbucks in Vons next door b/c they don’t have coffee or microwaves in the room, in case that matters for your stay. There are only 7 parking spaces for 11 rooms, so we had to park on the street, but our car was safe, not disturbed.

This hotel was noisy. Really thin walls. The area itself wasn’t very nice but proximity to the beach is good. Parking lot was small but there is street parking and I didn’t have issues parking there or around the area. The hand towels had stains on them. There was some damage to the floor in my room. Not a super nice hotel but it’ll do for a budget option. Proximity to grocery store right next door was convenient.

While I had some reservations about the area, it was right at the beach, lots of local restaurants that were very good. The room itself was fit to the pics online, comfy bed and way better than expected. The hotel is close to the beach, has its own parking, and has, like I said, many restaurants around it. It doesn’t have a pool but if you need to cool off the ocean is 2 blocks away.

The staffs were super friendly and helpful with parking. The parking area were pretty small/limited. There were only 4-5 parking spots or busy roads side parking. The room was very clean and cute. Our bathroom however, have a faulty electricity issue. Sometimes the light doesn’t wanna shut off or turn on. I don’t one of the morning doing our State smoke alarm went off pretty early to scare us awake.

The location was the only good thing about the hotel. Rooms were very dirty; the floorboards and floor need to be scrubbed, inadequate parking, no ice whatsoever. But again..perfect location. :/

Nice clean room, friendly check in, looks old on the outside but remodeled and nice on the inside. Fresh smelling towels and body wash. Area has lots of homeless but very close and convenient to the beach and pier.

iThis stay was terrible. I found a cockroach in my room. The room was dirty. Some random person knocked on my door at 9:30 at night. And the people above me kept stomping at 2:30 in the morning and also at 5:30 in the morning. The photos on the website are not accurate at all. This place made me feel very unsafe.

The room assigned to us was not what we expected. The room smell like cleaning supplies for the whole entire stay but in a bad way. AC kept turning off on our first night. We found hair in the bathroom and shower from the previous guests. We checked in early, which was nice but I would prefer to wait closer to check in time to ensure the room was properly cleaned and aired out. We did pass another room that did look like the picture posted online so if you get assign those rooms, you will get what you see online. The area was a little sketchy filled with homeless people but you get what you paid for. It was also nice to be close to the beach.

Someone clearly spent a lot of money renovating the property to make it look nice with a Mediterranean vibe. However, they have not taken care of it and the room soes not match the photos: scuffs amd scrapes on the white walls amd baseboards; door does not close properly so there is a breeze amd you can see day light; no security lock; thick calcium deposits on shower head; mildew in shower pan/wall corner grout; hair from revious guest; finger prints on tv; tv kept restartig, requiring from desk assistance because they have a special remote; thin see through sheets; and just over all disappointing. I would have called to switch hotels but there was a conferenceamd it was spring break so i was stuck with this option and because there was nothing better availa le per the expedia website. I chose to complain after my stay because i didnt want to make it awkward, but this place is 10 thumbs down will never reccommend.

I was a little disappointed when I drove in front of the hotel, not a lot of street appeal...BUT the staff was very nice and accommodating, The room was very clean and had everything we need. Parking is a bit intimidating. The location is great!!! We will be back! I recommend this hotel, we had a great time.

The rooms were exactly as advertised in the photos. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Rooms were clean and quiet and the renovations were excellent. Good street parking out front and great location by the ocean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

If you’re looking for a place with parking, this isn’t it. However, it’s a convenient walk to the beach. Room was not terrible but mattress had a deep hole in the middle of it. Desk chair in the room was embarrassing, looked as if a cat had been using it as a scratching post.

I\'m giving two stars because the rooms are spacious, and felt clean. But this is an absolutely basic motel, without so much as a coffee maker in the room (that would be available for an extra charge). No ice machine. Lousy pillows. Very poor internet connectivity. Room looks onto the parking lot. And LOUD!!! Plus they charge an extra 20/hour for early check-in. There was a sign that said "Vacancy, Yes," so obviously my room was ready, and still they would have charged me extra for checking in at 2 p.m. I told them I\'d rather spend $20 in a coffee shop, and come back at 3 p.m. Fortunately, I only had to spend one night there, if not, I would have left anyway the next morning.

The location is great and the staff is nice. The walls are very thin and you can hear people in the other rooms.

Overall great! Some things to note: parking very limited, bed is very soft, if you like sleeping in a fluffy soft cloud , this is for you but if you need firmness you might just have to sleep on the pull out sofa. Water pressure is horrible on room 10 which is the superior king room. It’s on second floor…not sure if pressure is better on bottom floor… otherwise… can’t beat the location and interiors! Will come back!

The property itself was OK and it was located within a block of the beach. The room was oddly configured with the shower, which had a clear glass enclosure, in the main room, with only the toilet in a private enclosed space. Thus, there was no privacy for someone taking a shower.

Location was nice. The shower situation was not it was out in the open. The glass was not frosted and no curtain for privacy. I could see if you were with a partner but if your traveling with someone else it makes for an awkward situation.

Very nice property except two things, parking issue and TV went off frequently. Stuff person came and fixed it, but still went off but several min later came back. Except that wonderful stay and the family owned this place was very nice.

The room was huge but there was no separation between shower and the room so with our friend we had to take turns going outside for privacy to take a shower.

Room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed. Only odd thing was that the shower is not closed off, so folks in the main room have full view of the clear-walled shower. Toilet is thankfully behind a door lol

Our stay at this hotel was unexpectedly amazing! We booked day of, last minute and got a good deal! We checked in around 11p and felt super guilty about it, but to our surprise, the front desk associate was super friendly and very welcoming. Checkin was a breeze, he even walked us to our door. Only downside is the parking. We parked on the street and luckily we were staying on a day that the sweeper doesn't come. Small parking lot, I assume fills up fast. All in all, room was clean, restroom well stocked and bed was beyond comfy. Will definitely return again!!

The rooms are very clean and the staff is very accommodating

Our room wasn't ready until 4:20 pm (we were there at check-in time, 3 pm), parking was so limited and tight, I had to shimmy our car three times to get into the parking space. Very noisy at night, no coffee pot, no place to put your hand towel by sink, and the glass enclosed shower is part of the livingroom!! Good thing: Not far from the beach.

The receptionist on arrival was very polite and helpful.

They doubled booked us. We did not get the room we paid for. (See photos) The room was so dirty. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing great is we are right by the beach. And that deserves 5 stars! No staff on Sunday to check out and complain about the room. We got here at 3am Saturday morning and are checking out Sunday. Every time I went to the front desk no one was there to talk to. Will be calling the cc company next. Not paying for a deluxe and got a queen.

When you arrive at the hotel you look for the entrance and you have to look. To enter you have to walk through a small walkway that could be overlooked. The office was small but adequate. The staff was dealing with a faulty credit card machine. They could not get the transaction to go through. After about 10 minutes they were able to get the card reader to work. When it was my turn I dealt with the same problem. It finally worked. The room doesn’t look at all like the pictures on the website. It was ok but not what was represented on the website. When we turned on the AC we realized there was a serious problem in the room. It smelled like urine, cat urine. Since the office was closed we decided to turn off the AC and open the windows. We talk to the staff (owner) and they said they would fix the issue. They tried for 2 days to get it fixed. I don’t think they really tried. We were not there and nothing changed. They didn’t even apologize for the problem. I can’t recommend this place. The homeless lady that was out front of the motel was nice and did not bother the guests.

If you plan to stay here, beware of staff entering your room completely unannounced. We only stayed here for one night & the morning of check out, a man we saw in the office the previous night unlocked our door & saw my man & i naked….. didn’t even knock, didn't even announce anything at the door, just straight keys jangling & boom, door opens. although man was apologetic & immediately left, this kind of thing shouldn’t happen. when we checked out in the office & told them what happened, they seemed so indifferent & lacked any type of remorse for the situation that they put us in.

Our door was tried to be kicked in at 4 am by someone, front office was not available and cops had to be called in, I requested a full refund but the hotel denied it. I am charging back my credit card as the hotel was very bad, sheets had cigarettes burn holes in them and there was no one to communicate at the front desk.

I have stayed here twice and the rooms are very nice. Great location as it relates to being close to all the restaurants and bars on second street. There are, however, a lot of homeless around the hotel and that does bring down the comfort level a bit. But if you drive to wherever you are going, it is definitely a hotel I recommend

It was close to the beach, neighborhood was a little sketchy at night but it’s Long Beach. Hotel parking lot is super small so can leave it there and uber everywhere or park on street. Room was clean but definitely could use a little love. The owners or managers not sure what they were, were super nice and helpful had issue with tv and they tried to fix it.

Good location, but property is old, room smells musky and quiet dingy looking. Definitely not worth the money we paid for it. Lots of crazy, high people around, lots of homeless. On the bright side: lots of places to eat around, even though they all close around 9-10 pm. Easy to get from and to airport and cruise port, but that is pretty much it

This is a low key place in a great location. Walkable to the beach and restaurants with a grocery store next door. Parking is limited but free. If on the street keep an eye on when street cleaning day is so you dont get a ticket. Clean and comfortable but not a-lot of extra amenities which is fine since so much to do in longbeach

Easy & convenient for cruising. Close to the port , block from the beach. Stores and restaurants right next door. Don’t miss going to the Belmont Brewery for lunch or diner .

Great location: 1 minute walk to beach, grocery store and restaurants. Public transportation bus 121 nearby to downtown Long Beach, 2nd Street Belmont and Naples.

The Belmont Pier is practically right out side the door. A brewery and great bike and walk paths. Overall a great location and a great little gem of a hotel.
