The hotel location was perfect for our needs. We went to Universal Studios and that Farmer's Market on Sunday is our favorite. The Hugo's across the street and Whole Foods is convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The parking was easy. The room was very comfortable. I did think there was going to be a pool, but the hot tub is a good size, and we didn't even have a chance to use it -- but would have. All in all, it's a great option.

Had a very nice stay. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Walkable to a number of restaurants and also walkable to family that lives in town. Nice outdoor patio with cornhole and hot tub! Will likely stay again when in the area

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We used the hot tub but it looked a little worse for wear. The fitness center was great as was our room. The only thing I would change in the room next time it is renovated is a shorter edge for the tub. It was difficult to step into as a shorter person.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean, and quiet. Be aware that parking in the garage (under hotel) was easy but it was an extra $25 a night. There is a beautiful lounge with free coffee and tea and water all day, a fitness room that my husband took advantage of, and a hot tub that I absolutely loved. There Is an outdoor patio that is well furnished and even has space heaters for when it gets a little cooler. The room was comfortable and absolutely loved the bed. We stayed five days and would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone. We chose it because of the amenities in the location to my son whom we were visiting. There is a great little breakfast place across the street called Hugos restaurant… We ate there twice for breakfast and the food was excellent. Also, the hotel it is next to The 101 so easy access yet it was extremely quiet so you didn’t know it.

I always stay at Mariposa for all my LA trips, it’s a newer hotel that has a very convenient location, nice large parking underground and spacious rooms that don’t stink like most old LA hotels (not kidding). The staff are very friendly, and I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. There’s a Whole Foods store and Hugo’s restaurant across the street too :)

I enjoyed my stay the only thing was that i had ants in my bathroom, but i still would stay here again in the future. They also had great housekeeping . And staff was very friendly and helpful if I needed something enjoy the Jacuzzi very relaxing

The carpet was dirty. I don’t know how often they clean these carpets. I told the manager in charge of room cleaning and he was rude. Instead of saying thank you for letting us know. He said ok, ok, I’ll get cleaned when you leave. He seemed frustrated when he was doing he’s job. I told the hotel manager and he also wasn’t very nice. Accused me of being rude to staff when I wasn’t. I’m a business owner and I was polite and respectful.

The room was so pretty and clean! not giving 5 star just because the receptionist were so stressed out and not really helpful during check in, gave us not working card key for the room😭 we can't use it, but she fixed it right away, but it was at night and we were tired so it's not pleasant. Tried to put food in the fridge, but there's a lot of used stuff, foods probably from previous customer ( so i guess they didn't check & clean the fridge) so we didn't want to use it. Other than that, it's a good stay :)

Stayed for more than one night, I called to have them come up and clean up room and bring clean towels and they never did I had to call to ask for at least clean towels and take out trash myself. Toilet wasn’t working. And the sink was clogged when we arrived. Room was not fully clean, there was trash on the floor and we had towels with stains, that was why I had to ask for clean ones to begin with.

Great overnight spot for going to Iniversal. Asked for room not on back of hotel to minimize freeway koise. Was quiet but the view was of an abandoned building next door and trash. Otherwise very nice hotel, friendly staff and convenient location.

Really nice hotel. The only downside is no soundproofing, from either street or from the corridor or from the neighboring rooms. You can hear every car on the street, every person passing by your room. Other than that, staff was really helpful, location is really good, street parking is always available. Room itself was very nice and clean.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Universal Studios. It was great how ever the freeway makes it loud at at night so bring a white noise machine. Also the bathroom door is frosted glass and let’s all the light out into the room so if you are using it at night it fills the whole room with light

This was a nice clean room to stay in. It’s a minimalist hotel room. Bath tub is huge. But if you have problems with your legs getting in and out would be difficult. The staff is wonderful. And all day. Water and coffee and tea is available.

We thought the property was good, the staff was friendly and while this is not much they can do, I do want to say that if you’re not on the third floor and someone of above you, you will hear all of their footsteps. The first night someone was walking/running around for hours job the late evening and again in the morning making it hard to sleep. I did speak to the front desk and they said they would try to move me if it continued but the people left. Still if you’re a light sleeper good luck.

We will be back! Don, Danny, and Jocelyn were super helpful and kind. Property is just as described. It seems to be a new facility so it’s really clean and updated. Parking is only $25/ night and you can take the elevator from the garage strait to your room floor. No need to stop in the lobby.

The rooms were nice and the property is located close to the highway for easy access. It's about a 10 minute drive to Universal Studios and had a grocery store nearby so the location was convenient. The front desk staff was very nice. We had the fire alarm go off at 3am during our stay which was unfortunate but we know it's not the fault of the hotel. The only feedback was the lack of communication from the hotel staff on when we were allowed to return to our rooms; there was no communication from the staff and we only went back in once we saw other guests do so. Overall, happy with our stay.

This was our first time staying here and the staff was especially outstanding, namely Ashley who was kind, helpful and cheerfully pleasant. Was not far from our destinations of Hollywood and Universal Studios so that was convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is easy peasy for getting around the area. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean, easy to get in and out of. Parking garage right underneath. The loacation is right along the freeway. So there is noise from foot traffic, and a pathway of the un-housed out the window. But we felt safe and comfortable the whole stay. Would stay again for sure

Would definitely stay again! Beautiful, clean property. Only downfall is that it is not close to majority of attractions, but the hotel made up for a lot of that. Didn’t eat breakfast because you had to pay for it, but enjoyed beverages (coffee, hot chocolate, water) served throughout the day and night.

We enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel decor was delightful, and the room was very comfortable. Since there is no restaurant on the property, they may wish to consider adding microwaves in the guest rooms for those wanting a warm meal without having to go out or order takeout. Also, recommend changing the word "pool" to "oversized hot tub" so not to deceive anyone expecting to swim. Still enjoyable, but not a pool.

Nothing really special about this hotel. They state they have a restaurant that offers breakfast but it is very limited and overpriced. Do not recommend. The view is an abandoned building. They charge an additional $25 for parking at the hotel. Overall, I would skip this hotel you can probably find a better and less expensive one in the area.

The staff was the best I’ve encountered even in luxury resorts; the rooms were spotlessly clean; even though they have no restaurant Hugo’s across the street is a neighborhood find and the breakfast pastries in the morning were freshly baked. I highly recommend!
