For an airport hotel, the location is convenient. The property is clean, new and modern. The amenities are absolutely bare minimum. The advertised swimming pool is actually located at a hotel next door and inconvenient to get to. The add-ons are pricey and mediocre (breakfast, food, parking).

Hotel is very nice, quiet with a super comfy king bed, sizable rooms and modern bathroom. Rooftop, downstairs bar are awesome. Very close to LAX and offers a shuttle bus to airport. Definitely recommended! Especially if you have a long layover.

The hotel itself was beautiful, the room was perfect and spotless and beds were very comfortable. The pool being over at the Hyatt was a bit inconvenient and not explained well on how to get to it. A few other people staying there couldn't find it either. The one staff member up front didn't speak good English and was difficult to understand. I told her I needed a shuttle in the morning, she told me just come down at 7:30, nothing else needed. Thankfully, I second guessed that response or we would have missed the shuttle and asked another employee at the front desk who informed me you needed a ticket and had to pay and be up front ten min before.

Oh how I love this hotel! I’ve stayed multiple times and love it. The vibe, the location, the service, the bar! It’s always so clean. Restaurant is yummy and such a vibe Parking is around $40 something and I believe valet is $47, kind of pricey but expected for the Marriott!

Great for work professionals and they share amenities with the neighboring hotel if you should need to use laundry or pool. Very quiet and staff is very courteous and accommodating. Parking is great and priced well.

Transportation to the airport is only from 6 am to 10 am every 30 minutes… after that you have to reserve ahead of time and only til 10 pm. There is no shuttle between 10 P.M. to 6 A.M. You will need to use Uber or Lyft. Very misleading.

The room was clean, the AC was a bit old and could use some maintenance (it was falling off the wall), we had fruit flies stuck in the ceiling paint of the bathroom (must have been this way for a while), but the front desk was very nice, bed as comfy and AC did get cold, so good overall.

Nice Hotel with nice rooms, however, don't expect your room to be clean daily or on the weekends. You would expect that paying almost $250 daily you would at least get daily room service. Additionally, the self-parking fees are ridiculously high.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the beds and pillows provided exceptional comfort. Dinner at Flora Restaurant was outstanding, with every dish prepared to perfection. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we only wish we had the opportunity to extend our visit for another night.

The sink drain in our room would not drain and or drained slowly. We stayed for 3 nights 4 days and by day 3 had to physically go to the front desk and request towels for showering after guest services stated they would bring them as well as ensure house keeping stopped by (day 2).

I had to switch rooms because the first room was not cleaned properly. When they switched me, they moved me from a nice room with a couch to a lower floor ADA room, which had a small chair. The shower had a seat in it that could not be removed, so either I sat in it or I only used 1/3rd of the shower. Constant nosy from air-con and elevators. The walls were very thin, so I had a terrible night sleep. Water pressure the shower was also poor. Overall for the price you pay it was a very underwhelming experience

I booked a room with city views as advertised. However the room that was on the 2 nd floor and looked into another bldg. No city views, I called the front desk to be moved and they moved me to the 5th floor on the other side of the bldg and again My view was into another bldg. This hotel does not have city views as advertised fyi!

My room never got cold and stayed hot all night. Woke up sweating… that said i like to sleep at 68 so it was probably 75-78 even though it was set at 66. Other than that loved the hotel, very nice modern touches, everything was well thought out. I hope the AC thing was just a fluke.

The room i had booked said it had a sofa bed, once checked in come to find out our room was not provided with that sofa bed. Tv remote hardly worked. The phone did not work at all. We tried calling the lobby, the kitchen and the phone was not working at all. Beautiful room but a little upsetting that most things were not provided as mentioned in the description and what was initially reserved.

Hotel was awesome. Staff, even better. We loved the room. However, in the morning after using the bathroom, I opened the sliding glass door and as I walked out the door stopped at the end of the track and broke and fell on me, hitting my head and body on my right side. the glass shattered all over me. I was bleeding from my ear and went to urgent care, and there I had a shard of glass from my ear. Your staff was great. However you need to replace all of those doors. If it was a child or an elderly person they may have been hurt much worse.

The reason for the 1 star is due to the rude and disrespectful behavior by "supervisor" Brandon and Julie. Both of these individuals do not belong anywhere in the hospitality industry as they have zero skills! I called to ask a simple question regarding four separate folios I received and credit card charges in a span of 5 minutes. Julie got upset and put me on hold without informing me she was doing so and Brandon.....let's just say he thinks it's ok to put customers on hold without warning! Brandon seems to think AC Hotel is the Four Seasons......but with the attitudes of the staff and leadership they could never hold a candle to the service one would receive at the Four Seasons. The reviews that have complaints about customer service and valet parking are TRUE! The rooms, roof top, restaurant, lounge are stellar! But the staff at the front desk and so called "supervisor" needs to be replaced! Along with the valet parking staff! I put in a call to an executive at Marriott and they will be addressing the matter.

The Expedia website shows check in begins at 11am however when I arrived at 12pm I was informed I had to pay a fee to check in early. When I explained the check in stayed on the website the staff member was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. Even if there was nothing that could be done, the staff member could have shown compassion for the inconvenient situation and did not.

Front desk service is horrible, when I checked in they said reservation “first name” doesn’t match my ID, I said I have my order, credit card on file, and anything support to verify but they just ignore. I travel around the world never had issues with my last name and reservation number ready. And then the supervisor came over said, oh Asians most of the time has a different legal name….(wow). Then when I got into the room, the WiFi took forever to connect so I called the front desk again, took forever for them to pick up and then they gave me the access code, which they could share at the first place. Won’t go back for sure! Also people upstairs are loud, stomping around til 3 am. Not going back for sure.

Everyone was so amazing from front desk, to valet, to cleaning, to repairing the safe, bartender, kitchen staff. Valets Jonathon G, JT and others for whom i have no name, to entire front desk and people that did things for us but i do not know their names. I talked to them everytime i saw them. And they were so happy to help.

Property was clean. But they need to update their lounge and restaurant hours. Waited 40 minutes for the lounge to open when it was posted that it was open already. Additionally check your final bill. Was charged for parking two nights when I paid for it when I booked. The staff gave inaccurate information. Horrific. My first night resulted in me having to change rooms the following morning because my room had no running water. The front desk also lost a water bottle of mine and cleaning stole a charger out of my room. I was told multiple times that I would receive a call from a manager and I never received a follow up.

If you are doing a short stop in Los Angeles and need to fly out next day this hotel is an excellent option. It’s clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms. To go to a nearby restaurant you must drive or get and Uber but just a 10 min drive which for me is ok. A nice are to visit near by (20 min by car) is Manhattan Beach. Nice pier, clean beach, good cafes and restaurants all in a 5 block radius. No homeless crowds there.

Very nice hotel near LAX. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance, even though it’s not in a touristy area. Reasonable price, friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness is very important to me and rooms were clean!

There were so many great things about our stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott. The hotel staff was very accommodating when we requested an early check. The room was extremely clean. I usually travel with cleaning supplies in case this is not the case. My use of those items were minimal at AC Hotel. The rooftop restaurant was great as well.

This place needs help! Maybe the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were not as nice as displayed and there was not ONE place to buy food on a Saturday! Everything was closed. They had snack bar with old food from a week ago. The room was clean, but that’s it. Ac was weak and warm, shower leaked all night, thin walls, hard bed. I’ll never go back here.

Stay was fine, but the pool is shared with the neighboring hotel. We were given a pool card, but that didn’t work and had to get someone to help us. The pool is small and it’s in a very windy location. It was a hot day and my boys were freezing. The breakfast buffet was very limited and charged $23 per person, even children. This upset me the most. A 6 and 7 year old don’t eat like adults do.
