The staff i met during my stay were absolutely lovely, very polite and helpful. The property is well located in a quiet cul de sac with small supermarkets, bakeries etc within a 6min walk. The area is residential and felt very safe to walk around. The main sights are not walkable but Courbevoie station is a 5min walk with regular trains that make travelling into La Defense and the Centre of Paris very straightforward. Ubers to and from the Centre and CDG airport were very reasonably priced, we paid £27 to the airport and £12 back from Eiffel Tower. The room/hotel itself was a tad tired in places but nothing major, just minor imperfections and overall the room, bathroom, sheets etc were clean to a good standard. There is a kitchenette/microwave which was workable for small meals and a good sized fridge for drinks etc. We had a few minor blips like a missing TV remote, only 1 pillow each provided (we prefer more) and the fridge hummed a little loudly at night but everything was resolved by staff immediately so really cannot complain. Air conditioning worked perfectly which was great. We paid €120 deposit on arrival which was returned promptly on the same day of checkout. For the price we paid for 3 nights and the size of the room (bigger than alot of places in Paris) i would say i was very pleased with out stay at 37 Lodge, Courbevoie.

The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful, and let me store my luggage when my train arrived early, and while I was waiting for my departure train. The room was clean, except for a musty smell in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a nice selection of cooking supplies for preparing meals in the room. The neighborhood was quiet, and I felt safe walking around it. The hotel is an easy walk from the metro line, and I was able to reach the city center in 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the route I took.

The shower didn’t drain. It flooded the whole bathroom and part of the bedroom every time, even having a very short shower. I highlighted it to the reception staff on the evening of arrival and the 3 subsequent days. They finally addressed the issue the 4th day (day before check out!).
