Overall the property is beautiful and well maintained by the very friendly staff. The food and drinks (I highly recommend the mojito and fried empanadas) at the bar and restaurant are amazing. The A/C in the room was subpar and parking was difficult during the afternoon/evening hours due to the locals having access to the beach and bar/restaurant. Security will find a parking spot for you if you show your room key.

Staff was friendly. Sometimes your server is hard to get to your table. It's a tight common area and this is headed into the off season. Good breakfast bit it would help to label the items some tou dont have to guess the local dishes. There is no pool, but you are steps from the ocean. Overall a great stay!

L'océan est bien situé a 50 metres. Uniquement une quinzaine de transat fixes sont dispo. Ils sont assez mal situés puisqu'un chemin pedestre très fréquentés passe juste devant leur alignement. Beaucoup de musique (DJ...) très fort toute la journée. Impossible de se reposer. Si vous préferez le calme, il vaut mieux aller un peu plus loin (Atlantis) ou de vrai transat mobile peuvent etre utilisés dans le silence des vagues, pour peu que vous preniez une consommation. Pour avoir séjourné sur les 2 sites. L'Atlantis est plus agréable en journée. Le Mosquito a un ensemble bar-resto plus dynamique.

Le Mosquito est bien placé sur la playa Bonita mais aucune plage de sable n'est présente en ce moment. L'hôtel en lui même est esthétique et les chambres sont confortables. Par contre l'hôtel est couplé à un bar restaurant avec musique en permanence et plein de monde partout jusque tard le soir. C'est un spot de surf public qui attire beaucoup de jeunes. Du coup, impossible de trouver un endroit tranquille pour se poser pour apprécier la vue ou assister au coucher du soleil.

Tolles Hotel. Mega gepflegte, sehr schöne Außenanlagen. Toller Strand! Sehr liebes Personal! (Viele Grüße an Cristian an der Rezeption und Pepe, Alex,Carlos, Lita,… in Bar/Restaurant). Sehr feines Essen und leckere Drinks! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! (So wohl, dass wir ein anderes Hotel storniert haben, um hier nochmal ein paar Tage am Ende unseres Urlaubs zu verbringen!) :-) Claudia & Christian Kleines Feedback: es läuft jeeeeden Tag die gleiche Playlist (mit den üblichen Justin-Biber-„Radiohits“ rauf und runter. Am Ende wussten wir schon, welches Lied als nächstes kommt. Schön wäre auch mal die tolle lokale Musik gewesen, die sonst überall - selbst an der Tankstelle- läuft.

The rooms are very old, and dirty, the ac did not work properly, the shower heads wered rusted and the shower floor slimmy. Basic room had no tv, no phone and door to the room seemed to have been broken into in the past, It was so bad I booked a 2 night stay and drove from punta rusia for almost 6 hours and decided to leave the place the next day, I asked to be refunded and was denied unless it booked, guess it never did. Very disappointed, decided to pay for another hotel. Tried to visit their restaurant porto by mosquito and ended up leaving the establishment because the staff was rude, and unattentive, never again mosquito! Zero ratings!

We’ve been coming here for years but the recent visit was a big downgrade. Our room was awful- I don’t need much but I do expect a clean room & bathroom. I think they’re redoing the rooms and I’m sure once completed they’ll be great but if they continue to rent these out they should be better maintained. We didn’t complain because it was a short trip but I wouldn’t stay in that room again, absolutely not worth the price. Also the restaurant service needs help- we waited 1.5 hours for a pizza and eventually said nevermind because it never arrived. Breakfast was delicious as always.

A very disappointing stay. Having been to Las Terrenas multiple times and visiting the Mosquito restaurant before, my friends and I were looking forward to staying at the hotel. I booked 3 of the same rooms and one of my friends was then given a higher priced room without her consent and management didn't fix the error. In addition, the higher priced room was noisy and was as cramped as the other rooms we booked. To add to the mistakes, the management tried to charge for additional costs that weren't listed for the room. Thankfully, my credit card company rejected those charges. Lastly, the front desk staff was rude and inconsiderate. Though the views were amazing, that's true for most of Las Terrenas. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. I know I will in the future.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient and on the beach. However, we got the room above the laundry area and you could hear the staff going in and out and starting the laundry. There was also a construction site next door which started as early as 6am with drilling. The service at the restaurant was poor, inattentive staff, price changes between days, long wait times for food during breakfast.

The rooms look nothing like on images and there is opportunity for upgrade. No television or ironing boards for guests in their rooms. Considering its a small hotel, I don’t see why they can’t accommodate for that. Its a pet friendly hotel but their cats and dogs are always hovering guest dining tables which I found to be very uncomfortable and unsanitary. The waiters at restaurant are always standing around vs asking guests if they need anything. The food options at restaurant were quite decent and so I enjoyed the food minus the animals coming around.

I wish the bedrooms had phones to allow guests to communicate with the front desk, hangers for towels, and—most importantly—that guests were made aware of possible surcharges in addition to the reservation cost. It should also be mentioned that beach towels require a $50 refundable deposit.

The property is nice, I was not pleased with the restaurant service. There was a waiter who was extremely rude, very unorganized and food was a hit or miss depending on the cook. I experienced it and that’s all it will be as I do not plan on returning to this property.

We stayed for two nights, it is a paradise. Best looking place in samana. Food and drinks were amazing. The beach is one step away. Note: staff is very rude, they never smile or say hello. Never asked if we needed anything or if we wanted something else to drink or eat. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Armando at the cook to order was the only person to offer a smile and was very attentive to his guests. Checkin was not very welcoming. The person tended to fix a cabinet of sunglasses for sale rather than attend to us. He took his time doing so. Overall we had an amazing time here. They really need to work with personnel..

The beach is awesome, the best beach that you will ever visit, this is heaven. The Peruvian food at the restaurant is awesome too. Not a fancy place, it is just that you need to be in contact with the nature.
