We’ve stayed here many times (love the location, pool, ambiance, convenience). The pros outweigh the cons, but I do have some complaints: 1- Fees and more fees! Parking is $$$$, resort fee seems overboard, $100 pet fee is high, and $25 to rent a fridge in your room?! 2- Lack of in-room amenities: no fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave, no robes. Few pillows and towels, and no extra blanket. 3- While the pool are a is very nice, the pool was not heated although it is advertised that it is. 4- Bar and Grab-n-Go Cafe is sparse and only open a few hours early morning and evening. Outside of minimal hours, no food, drinks, or sundries are available. I don’t consider Caza a budget hotel, there are several less expensive options in the area. But the amenities are scarce and I doubt I will stay again because of this. I just don’t feel taken care of despite it being a welcoming environment. Once you get it the room, it’s a disappointment.

Everything was excellent! Clean, nice lobby with bar, seating, game room and snacks (pricy). Security with card chips to work front door and elevator is a plus. Our room was close to elevator so I could hear it but it did not keep me awake. Staff was helpful. The tub in our room had a little of the porcelain worn off the edges. That was the only thing I saw that looked run down. All else was fantastic!! We enjoyed the close walk to Fisherman's Wharf. We recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel because of the heated pool… their pool was NOT heated. They said we could use our cards to come in and out of parking- false! We had to ring the bell to come in and out of parking - so inconvenient. Staff was not very helpful.

The hotel is beautiful, very well located and has friendly staff. Pool struggles with getting sun, due to its position. Food in the hotel is limited and quite expensive, but there are many options of amazing places to eat around. We would definitely recommend and plan on returning in the future.

Great location! Property was very clean and the staff was helpful. We experienced a few issues during our stay related to the condition of the room and staff was great getting everything resolved. Pool is great for kids and hotel is very family friendly with activities.

I found my stay at the Hotel Caza to be mediocre. Only some of the front desk staff was helpful, the maids did not clean everyday, and bathroom had chipped flooring in the shower.

Location is close to all the tourist things. Room is sufficient. AC clicks on and off all night. I requested a mini fridge prior to arriving but had to call for it since it wasn’t there. They brought one that didn’t work, and a second that never got cold. It’s an old property but they are trying to put fresh paint on it…

The hotel itself is fine. Shower drain was completely clogged and filled everyone we showered leaving a disgusting mess. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning but never actually dealt with the issue. Very expensive “resort fee” tacked on per day for a small cold pool and other pretty useless amenities that we did not use but the fee was not optional. Coffee/bar had very limited hours. Great location for tourists.

The property was not only dirty, but very noisy in the middle of the night. They should offer earplugs as a courtesy, but after the complete lack of any kind of courtesy we received during our stay, I know that will never be something that hotel caza provides. 0 amenities. There is no fridge, no microwave, you are forced to pay extra for the game room and the pool, and on top of it have to pay to even play the games in the game room. This stay for us felt like a never ending fee nightmare. The beds were uncomfortable. Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived, the soap dispensers were empty, and the toilet had clogging issues. When they came and “cleaned” our room, they did not take any trash with them. It was very odd. Upon arrival, we were told that we had to pay $75 a night for parking, that was the peak of the ridiculousness. They do not even charge those prices in Las Vegas. After asking about alternative parking around the area, I was lied to and told that everywhere else in the area was the same price. We drove around and saw that was not the case at all. After complaining we did receive a discounted parking rate. I believe whole heartedly that parking should be included in your stay. I’m writing this review so that others can be weary of this hotel. They lie and they hit you with an insane amount of fees that are not listed on any site. Save yourself $$ and convenience and book elsewhere. There are plenty of other hotels in fisherman’s wharf with better prices & services

Overall the facility is great as we’ve stayed here multiple times over the years. The games area is always a great way to end the day. However, this stay was ruined by the location of our room. It was on the first floor and EXTREMELY noisy all night. Heater/AC didn’t really work right despite setting the thermostat to a comfy 70 deg, we were roasting. Turned it off and it was still unbearably hot. But really it was the outside noise that I just couldn’t overcome. I think this is the first time we’ve had to stay in the first floor and I’ll def make it a point to request anything but the first floor when we return.

Good location and friendly staff. Appreciate eco friendly toiletries and water refill station. The room was supposed to have a partial bay view but in reality it was mostly a trash alley with the wall of the next building with a tiny slither of the ocean on the horizon. 3.5 stars

Maria at the front desk was amazing! She was super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. She provided a complimentary upgrade to a room with a Bay view and worked with me to ensure my big truck had a parking space. She didn’t have to do any of that. I was exhausted on arrival and her friendly manner and assistance made all the difference. I’ll definitely keep this hotel on my SF travel list as a must-stay. The location is great and within walking distance of the wharf and excellent restaurants and cafes.

We had booked two rooms and our confirmation email confirmed early check in at 12pm (based on availability) was included in the Daily Destination Fee of $31 that we paid. Despite confirming the rooms were available the manager checking us in (Nate) said anted to charge us $60 per room to check in or we would have to wait until 4pm. Had no problem waiting if the rooms were unavailable but we had paid a fee for early check in (if available). It was approx 11.50am, had no problem waiting till 12pm either. He became rude when I showed him the email confirming early check in was included in our room and stated he didn’t care. Felt like a money grab and the manager that served us was not welcoming at all so please be careful and check what you have already paid for at this Hotel. He nearly got an extra $120 from us and I am sure we are not the first guests he has done it to. Vanessa (front desk worker) saved the day and ended up checking us in while we were waiting for the manager (Nate) to come back out and speak with us. She is the only reason I gave 2 stars to be honest.

Great location! Nice amenities. We had the hardest time getting what we needed from the hotel staff though! Never had enough towels or coffee. Would ask for them at the desk and they would promise to send them up… and just never did. I would end up going down to get them. If it happened once or twice I wouldn’t mind. But I ended up going to the front desk every single day of our 5 night stay.

Check in time was 4:00pm, we didn't get in until after 5. The girl at the front desk didn't want to be bothered to check to see how long it would be until I insisted. Even then she had a snarky attitude about having to do it. Otherwise the hotel was decent and the location was prime to explore the wharf.

At about 8 pm we tried to purchase coffee at the drinks bar, but he said it was not available. How can you purchase a latte, but not coffee?

I was very impressed with everything this hotel had to offer. The location is fantastic, close to Pier 39 and all the great attractions. The pool was heated and there was plenty of cabanas, umbrellas, chairs, towels and even pillows! The bar was open for drinks and they even provide cooked and milk for the kids. Plenty of family friendly areas with game tables and activities. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond on multiple occasions. We were craving coffee in the evening and they sent up a coffee maker right away. We needed towels and they were up with towels within minutes. The entire hotel was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. For a delicious breakfast head across the street to Brick and Board. Excellent breakfast/brunch.

Great family hotel with lots of games to enjoy in the evenings. Rooms were spacious and pool was great. Gets cold outside it though so take layers. Line up at breakfast time takes too long - they need more than 1 staff member serving. Otherwise great fun stay in area which felt safe and close to lots of amenities.

Breakfast options were shocking for a 4 star hotel, with no coffee or options in the room. Microwave your own breakfast burrito? It felt like a family hostel more than a hotel. They took more than they should have for a holding deposit and didn't refund the hold until after my time in the city. loc
