Everything was amazing. What we did NOT appreciate is that we were not told the rooftop bar and restaurant have been closed and under renovation for months and will continue to be for the remainder of the YEAR. It was a big selling point in why we booked here. I think that needs to be disclosed somewhere.

All of the details have been considered. The Moonlark restaurant has an amazing staff, great coffee and overnight oats and I enjoyed that I could take it outside or upstairs. The hotel fits into the neighborhood perfectly and the pool and pool area are an absolute treat. It's my new go-to destination when I come to LA. Thanks y'all!

The hotel is fine. However, the pictures are misleading. There are no lounge chairs by the pool like the first picture that comes up. In addition, the rooftop bar/restaurant was closed due to renovations. It would’ve been nice to know this before booking.

This hotel is very uniquely decorated and very comfortable. Close to Little Tokyo and BMO Stadium. Parking is very expensive in LA is the only drawback to being here. No private parking for hotel.

Pool is extremely small and limited seating. Was able to check in early which was nice @ 3pm. No where to get a drink until after 5PM? No bar, restaurant or even a little snack shop but overall a good experience….

I’ve stayed at the hoxton in DTLA several times and I’ve always had a wonderful experience. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is clean and well appointed. I love the rooftop pool- it’s never too crowded and is always clean and furnished with several towels and complimentary sunscreen. highly recommend!

I was put in a room that was not cleaned, when I informed the front desk they put me into a new room. The downtown area is overrun by the homeless. So sad that nothing is being done about it.

It’s like being in an old house, you can’t take a shower and NOT get scalded if the person in the next room flushes the toilet. I was “upgraded” to a room across from the elevator, so loud! And the club on the 7th floor ensures no one is sleeping until 1am. The bass thumping vibrates the room. I told the front desk about this: they credited me $40. $40, for my lack of sleep, being scalded, and dirty, tired carpeting. Clearly, I won’t be back.

The hotel room was okay, the bathroom was a bitt annoying to deal with as it didn't have a fan and we just found the room layout (i.e., bathroom location) a bit awkward. The lights were very confusing to use, most times we just ended up leaving them on because we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. That being said, the location is great, there's a lot of stuff to do in the area and great food options.

The room was so small that I could only open my suitcase on the bed, and there wasn't anywhere to unpack my stuff. There was a place to hang clothes, though. The room was way too small for the price.

I stayed 4 nights. The property itself is quite nice in the lobby areas and there is a lovely (but small) rooftop pool - once you step outside of the hotel it does not feel safe. The "cosy queen room" is VERY cosy, I could barely fit my luggage, and felt like there was very limited space for me to put my clothing. It's also a tight fit to just walk around the bed. There is no table in the room if you need to work - you can either sit on the bed, or go downstairs to the co-working area (which was nicely decorated). If you wanted a clean and safe space to sleep and plan to be out most of the day - this is the hotel for you. The interior decor is nice, but I didn't feel this hotel was good value - especially as the staff seems to have very high turnover and mostly seemed to be new so didn't seem to know what was happening. Though they were very nice and tried hard to help - for example. staff didn't know when room service ends, where there might be parking if you don't want to pay $60 for valet etc. Also, check out is at 12pm, someone came to knock on everyone's door at 12:06 to ask if you were planning to check out - I was on my way to the elevator so it was fine - but just be aware - It's definitely no frills.

Great interior design and location, amenities are certainly geared towards couples than business travelers or families. Older building so rooms facing South Broadway are noisy during the night with traffic, loud music and the general LA nightlife.

We were very comfortable at The Hoxton. The rooms are lovely, quiet and cozy. The food and service at the dinette is excellent. It's easy to get around downtown LA on foot, via uber, or by metro. We didn't have a car during our stay, so I can't speak to valet service. Especially given the price of rooms, I wish the rooftop pool had longer hours. It's closed before sunset in the summer, which is unfortunate. The rooms don't have closets and could benefit from luggage racks.

The staff are all super friendly, offered water while i was waiting for my room to be ready. Water, milk, and coffee all free and you can call for more. They also allow you to store your luggage with them after you check out which was great as i had a later flight and had some more things to do in the city after checking out.

Your staff is absolutely amazing! From valet parking, security, check-in, cleaning staff, and bartender, they were absolutely amazing and friendly. Angel at check-in was wonderful and Brandon the bartender was awesome and makes the best drinks! The location was perfect for a show at the Belasco. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Stellar staff—kind and thoughtful, and went above and beyond (navigating food allergies—folks at Moonlark were wonderful, and when an alarm starting going off in the room next door at midnight, the staff immediately figured out how to find the issue and turn off the alarm). Great shower pressure and many thoughtful touches throughout, even if rooms definitely on the cozy side! Would happily return!

I had a disappointing experience at the Hoxton Hotel in Downtown LA. The valet attendant—a bald gentleman with a beard—was surprisingly rude and condescending upon arrival and even departure. Unfortunately, the negative tone continued at checkout, where the front desk agent was unhelpful and curt. She refused to accommodate a simple request to charge the stay to my company credit card, and the way the situation was handled was both unprofessional and baffling. I expected better service from a hotel of this caliber.

It was my partners birthday and the team made it so extra special - we got an upgrade and there was drink and a handwritten card waiting in hour room. The rooftop restaurant was delightful; everybody went above and beyond. We loved our stay. Thank you

Nice classy hotel. Enjoyed the stay and interaction with the staff as well. Cleaning staff did a great job on the room everyday as well, too. I was woken up by a loud noise a couple of nights - not sure what that was. Otherwise, the only real drawback is the dicey area - quite a number of folks just wandering the streets, riding their bikes randomly on the sidewalks - you have to keep your head on a bit of a swivel in the neighborhood, unfortunately. They do charge a "destination fee" of over $40 a night, in addition to the $15 LA hotel ordinance surcharge. There should not be a destination fee for this type of neighborhood. Just put the total price up front and don\'t call it a destination fee to stay in a neighborhood like this.

the pool was amazing. front desk staff were also very accommodating. the area around the hotel isn't the nicest but that is LA for ya! i was single woman travelling solo and i didn't feel unsafe walking alone, just be aware of your surroundings.

Its near Staples Center, we move around in scooters and it was very convenient. The rooms are very cute with the vintage vibe and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended, great discovery

Unexpected fees, nasty down town setting, crazy homeless shanty town down the road and all over the town. Not ever going back. Definitely not worth $200 a night and certainly not worth it after they tack on additional fees that end up costing me all in total $300 a night. Weed dispensary across the street.

The hotel and staff were great! The room isn't set up like traditional hotels, but it's kind of more fun that way. I wasn't impressed with the restaurant or really their breakfast offerings, though. Like who's going to order a double cheeseburger at 9am? I feel like I'm pretty versed in non American foods, but if I have to Google half the things in the menu, it's not that good of a menu.

We really like the front desk people especially the gentleman who checked us in. He is very warm and helpful. We also enjoyed the Cabra roof top restaurant. The Peruvian food they serve is amazing.

the restaurant upstairs, is just not good! the dinnette is good and closes at 3PM, it needs to stay open for dinner. Cabra is just not good, i've stayed at your hotel multiple times and always have an issue with dining.
