We had a great stay at Aksara Heritage and highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely pool and nice restaurant with the best Khao Soi noodles. The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet part of the old city with a lot of temples, shops and restaurants at walking distance.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Aksara. It is well located in the old town. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and quickly checked into our room. The hotel is stunning. A modernised hotel with a nod to the history of the region. Well air conditioned, rooms are spacious and well equipped. Amazing pool area. Staff are attentive and welcoming. Breakfast options were plentiful. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Aksara! The staff are truly amazing — so warm, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The location couldn’t be better, with markets, shops, and great restaurants all within easy walking distance. The pool area is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautifully designed, and the perfect place to relax. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more! The pool bar is charming, and I had the best smoothie of my life there. Our room was lovely, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had at a hotel. I would definitely recommend Aksara to anyone visiting the area. It’s a true gem and easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

This was my second time staying with Aksara Heritage, and it's as wonderful as I remembered last time. I came with my parents this time staying in a triple room. The room is nice and spacious, beds very comfortable, and the sound proof of the door is quite impressive. The staff is as nice and welcoming as they come. Breakfast is delicious with great coffee. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

A truly delightful hotel and awesome property. The rooms are a great size, huge bathrooms and tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. The staff is phenomenally helpful to anticipate and meet your every need. The food is outstanding. Truly an excellent experience. I highly recommend.

1. Hotel itself it’s like a boutique size, with not much choice of rooms. Be sure to go with the balcony one otherwise, you will literally loose the window. They face a high fence close to the window. 2. The hotel service needs to be revised, only the girl with short haircut has enthusiasm towards clients. Others ignore you many times. Not that we are picky, but being rated 5 stars hotel in Chiang Mai, they should do better. 3. Room cleaning was not done in time. We left from 8am and came back around 15pm. The room was still the same. We had to go find the person in charge in order to send someone. 4. Shower floor slippery with no anti slip mat available in the room. Very dangerous if you don’t pay attention. 5. Breakfast level and service does not match hotel rate. No service noticed, it’s like a holiday inn level. 6. Over 3 days, no single one employee remains available at the pool bar, you have to go get them from elsewhere. 7. Employee manage the bedding stuff all over the place. You see them in the hallway, you see them next to the pool. Literally all day. Not too pleasant generally speaking. 8. Overall, employee’s attitude and service does not match its description. A lot other 4 stars boutique hotel are genuinely better and priced better. I would say that it is a bit overrated not worth to pay the high price for it unless you have a really good deal. 9. One star we are giving to the cat that the hotel adopted. Very kind heart of them to have decided the adoption.

Love this little hotel with great character. The decoration is tasteful, the breakfast is one of the most delish I have had, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. Location wise it is close to one of the gates in the old city, and the Sunday market is right on the street in front of hotel. Can’t be more convenient than that!

Excellent choice in old town. Cannot say enough about this hotel….the service, location, and convenience are all top notch. Food was excellent and pool is very nice. Staff are incredibly attentive and everything is super clean. Would highly recommend!

Aksara Heritage is a phenomenal boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel extremely safe and comfortable. Within an hour of arriving they had a massage and mani pedi booked for us and a tour arranged for next day. The grounds are well kept and the surrounding area is very walkable with tons of food and shopping options. Dao and Ming were both instrumental to our stay in Chiang Mai! Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Aksara! The staff are truly amazing — so warm, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The location couldn’t be better, with markets, shops, and great restaurants all within easy walking distance. The pool area is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautifully designed, and the perfect place to relax. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more! The pool bar is charming, and I had the best smoothie of my life there. Our room was lovely, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had at a hotel. 1. Hotel itself it’s like a boutique size, with not much choice of rooms. Be sure to go with the balcony one otherwise, you will literally loose the window. They face a high fence close to the window. 2. The hotel service needs to be revised, only the girl with short haircut has enthusiasm towards clients. Others ignore you many times. Not that we are picky, but being rated 5 stars hotel in Chiang Mai, they should do better. 3. Room cleaning was not done in time. We left from 8am and came back around 15pm. The room was still the same. We had to go find the person in charge in order to send someone. 4. Shower floor slippery with no anti slip mat available in the room. Very dangerous if you don’t pay attention. 5. Breakfast level and service does not match hotel rate. No service noticed, it’s like a holiday inn level. 6. Over 3 days, no single one employee remains available at the pool bar, you have to go get them from elsewhere. 7. Employee manage the bedding stuff all over the place. You see them in the hallway, you see them next to the pool. Literally all day. Not too pleasant generally speaking. 8. Overall, employee’s attitude and service does not match its description. A lot other 4 stars boutique hotel are genuinely better and priced better. I would say that it is a bit overrated not worth to pay the high price for it unless you have a really good deal. 9. Love this little hotel with great character. The decoration is tasteful, the breakfast is one of the most delish I have had, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. Location wise it is close to one of the gates in the old city, and the Sunday market is right on the street in front of hotel. Can’t be more convenient than that!

This was my second time staying with Aksara Heritage, and it's as wonderful as I remembered last time. I came with my parents this time staying in a triple room. The room is nice and spacious, beds very comfortable, and the sound proof of the door is quite impressive. The staff is as nice and welcoming as they come. Breakfast is delicious with great coffee. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. This hotel is stunning! The rooms are unique, clean and in great condition. The pool and common area is so peaceful and relaxing, and they also offer a great restaurant and breakfast. The service was the best I’ve ever had. They welcomed us with so much kindness and helped us with our bags and even provided a map and ideas of things to do in the area. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know and if I ever come back to Chiang Mai, I will definitely stay again.
