Wonderful hotel in main area of Perth. Good size rooms, heated pool, gym and great coffee shop near main entrance. Miss Mi restaurant was good with interesting choice of Asian meals. Wine bar at ground level had good range of wines and value snack meals eg 10 chicken wings $10. Enjoyed our stay.

The common areas could use more attention — the carpets in the hallways were dirty, and the overall feel was a bit dated. Housekeeping didn’t arrive until 4 pm, which was quite late. On the positive side, the reception and bar were very welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. However, toilet rolls were never replenished, and I saw several guests having to ask for more at reception. The sauna was lovely, though the pool area could do with a tidy-up. Not a bad place overall — perhaps just suffering from being short-staffed?

Surprisingly peaceful considering its location in the centre of town. I understand parking can be a bit difficult but public transport is very convenient and it is an easy walk to most places. Staff quiet and professional. The breakfast was pretty good with Pod machine coffee, plenty of fruit and healthy options along with cooked options and a range of pastries. I would have liked the option of poached eggs. The swimming pool is lovely and warm which made up for the lack of jacuzzi (they have a spa to get facials rather than a spa bath to relax in) The Sauna needs a while to get hot but is clean and effective, the steam room only over felt tepid.

Looks like the place is under staff. on the average only 2 counters are open for check in/out and enquires. Lift music is too loud. Location is a plus point. Valet parking is totally unavailable.

Over all it was a good stay. Booked based on facilities a little as we were there a few days. Gym, not worth it. Sauna and Steam rooms- wow! They just need better signage and staff to check for towels etc- it was a Sunday when we were there and no towels in pool/ saunas. Also note if you book breakfast you get an actual coffee in that but they don’t tell you, so make sure you ask for it so you don’t need to make your own. Great range of buffet. Parking- you can park in the laneway for dropping car to valet- there are no signs to tell you this.

The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful across every area, the front desk, bar, and restaurant. Each person greeted me with a genuine smile that made me feel truly welcome. My room was spotless and comfortably spacious for a solo stay. If you have the chance, I highly recommend ordering the breakfast. The selection is excellent, with both hot and cold options to suit every taste. It’s best to purchase it at check-in, as the price is more favorable than buying it later. A wonderful experience overall, highly recommended.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is really dirty, stained carpets, the bin placed over and infront of a horrible looking stain. Hand print on the wall, bathroom door also has stains and not been cleaned. The cleaner rinsed the cups and glasses in the sink and put them back on the shelf - in front of me, poor hygiene. Even after the cleaner came these things remained, dust on shelves, unsanded filler on the corner of the walls. On the surface looks like a nice hotel but when you look not so great.

The hotel’s location was fantastic close to everything and very convenient. However, the rooms were not as clean as expected, with noticeable mould in the bathrooms. We were sold parking passes advertised as allowing multiple entries and exits, but I was charged again upon leaving, which was disappointing. Breakfast was quite basic, and the pancakes were dry and unappetising. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience more pleasant. Overall, while the location and service were good, the cleanliness and amenities let it down. I probably wouldn’t book here again, as there are nicer hotels in Perth within a similar budget.

Overall, a great stay. Hotel is centrally located, close to all city amenities. Rooms are clean and modern, a little bit on the small side. Staff are generally friendly bar a couple at the front reception, who wasn’t willing to listen to guest request (particularly if you are checking out at 11am and don’t fly out until midnight, staff are wasn’t able to accommodate use of pool and shower area located on L12 once you checked out at 11am. I find this a little strange, given all other hotels that I have stayed in had been very accommodating with allowing post checked out guest to still use the hotel facilities).

Room was extremely dusty, had a dark substance splattered on my door and marks all over the hotel room. I was given an interconnecting room meaning I could hear everything next door. As a single woman this wasn’t ideal knowing someone could open the door across from my bed. Anytime doors were opened it sounded like someone was entering my room. The lobby itself was nice and the hotel is in a central location. Keep in mind this hotel is across the road from a nightclub so you can hear music up till 5am (which was expected).

We are a family of 4 (two adults and two children) who stayed in a double double room (two double beds) for two nights after arriving in the middle of the night from Singapore. Night staff were on duty when we arrived, they let us in because it was after midnight, so it felt very safe. They checked us in quickly, which was helpful as we were very tired. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool and both are family friendly. We used both and were impressed with the cleanliness. The free wi-fi never dropped out once. Breakfast was good, a large self-service all-you-can-eat buffet selection of cooked items as well as continental choices. There are also Asian inspired menu items, cereals for children and lots of fresh fruit. The fruit juices on offer were orange, pineapple and apple and there's lots of tea and coffee choices from the machine (but no decaf!). When the coffee machine stopped working but they repaired it immediately. It was a bit pricey but the kids ate for free (one child free with each full paying adult) which made it reasonable for the choice on offer. The location is really good, it's on a street which goes straight into the shopping centre of Perth about 10 mins walk away. There's also a great Italian restaurant over the road which do pancakes for breakfast! The room was exactly what we expected from the photos and description. The only bit that was a surprise was that there's no lock on the bathroom door. Overall it was a very pleasant stay here.

We paid extra for a higher floor, but the view wasn’t worth it. Mostly, you just see the apartment building across the street, and you can even see into people’s daily lives. Kind of felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth. The room itself was fine — the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet.

The water flow of outlet in the wash room of Room#305 was bad. Shower half way have to stop to wait for the water to subside else the toilet can be flooded. I took quick showers in first 3 days and I started to notice it from 4th day onwards. The mattress was too soft for me.

Check in was very slow , 1 person only checking in a busy time. Room was great for what we needed, cleaners could do with dusting as our bedside tables and alarm clock were so dusty.

The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful across every area, the front desk, bar, and restaurant. Each person greeted me with a genuine smile that made me feel truly welcome. My room was spotless and comfortably spacious for a solo stay. If you have the chance, I highly recommend ordering the breakfast. The nightclub opposite the hotel was open until 4am on a Wednesday night, playing loud music, so you don't want a room close to the front of the hotel! We couldn't use the onsite parking because the reception didn't answer the car park entry buzzer so ended up paying for parking elsewhere. Reception didn't answer their phone at all during our visit - always had to go down and see them in person.

A really average hotel compared to others nearby. It was not very clean, the beds were on rollers with no locks, the heating wasn’t working and they said they would send someone up and didn’t.

Staff when checking in - did not acknowledge that I was disabled or even offer to help with my bags - although it was obvious I was struggling. However, on my checking out, couldn’t have been more helpful - Macarena & Dhruv! Such excellent people! Went above and beyond and, should I return to Perth, I will stay at Novotel again but only because these two changed my mind! BTW the breakfast is beautiful and incredible array of delicious food!

Whilst it is modern and clean the staff service was appalling. On two occasions I had to call the main phone number as no other department was picking up internal phone calls. TV in room broke and took multiple requests over a whole afternoon just to get acknowledged. Called room service to order a morning coffee to which I was told, they were unsure if they make coffee and will get back to me…. I don’t normally give bad reviews as I understand people have bad days, but for the 3 days here I was so disappointed and it really ruined our getaway.

Safe location with an easy walk to Murray Street Mall. No onsite parking but parking was available in the adjacent city multi carparks. It cost me $39 for 3pm till 11am. Buffet breakfast was $22 each booked through the hotel and was average in quantity and quality. The rooms were compact but clean and quiet.

Wonderful hotel in main area of Perth. Good size rooms, heated pool, gym and great coffee shop near main entrance. Miss Mi restaurant was good with interesting choice of Asian meals. Wine bar at ground level had good range of wines and value snack meals eg 10 chicken wings $10. Enjoyed our stay.

Surprisingly peaceful considering its location in the centre of town. I understand parking can be a bit difficult but public transport is very convenient and it is an easy walk to most places. Staff quiet and professional. The breakfast was pretty good with Pod machine coffee, plenty of fruit and healthy options along with cooked options and a range of pastries. I would have liked the option of poached eggs. The swimming pool is lovely and warm which made up for the lack of jacuzzi (they have a spa to get facials rather than a spa bath to relax in) The Sauna needs a while to get hot but is clean and effective, the steam room only over felt tepid.

We didn't eat in the hotel much, but we did have a bite to eat on Saturday for lunch and it was really tasty. The food was fresh and came out within 15-20 minutes of ordering. The service was fantastic. The 24 hour room service was a godsend as we were at dance competitions until 11pm so a midnight feed was fantastic!

The hotel’s location was fantastic close to everything and very convenient. However, the rooms were not as clean as expected, with noticeable mould in the bathrooms. We were sold parking passes advertised as allowing multiple entries and exits, but I was charged again upon leaving, which was disappointing. Breakfast was quite basic, and the pancakes were dry and unappetising. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience more pleasant. Overall, while the location and service were good, the cleanliness and amenities let it down. I probably wouldn’t book here again, as there are nicer hotels in Perth within a similar budget.
