Room was clean. And breakfast was nice. BUT Only booked here because of HEATED POOL. It says on website and reviews it’s heated it is NOT. Stayed here with 2 kids only because early October is cold and thought Id done my research but was wrong. Very disappointed. Told us we could go use facilities 1km away at another hotel. Yeah right! Will not stay again for this very reason

Gym and pool used as a children playground without any rules implemented. It makes it just like a public swimming pool or a children only facility. No chance to find a quiet moment by the pool or no children using the gym in a dangerous and inadequate way. Very deceiving compared to the others Crowne plaza

Great location. Very helpful & accommodating staff. Nice view from reception & bar on level 10. Nice gym & pool but the pool needs to have more shelter from the wind. Plenty of bars & restaurants at your door step.Rundle mall right below the hotel & convenient to the tram network.

Easy check in process. The parking is located just down the street of the hotel. It doesn't have connected access but it's really not that far to walk. There is also a quick drop off section for bags and family members who are less mobile. Super convenient location. Easy to get around and do shopping on Rundle. Staff were all lovely & pleasant to deal with. The room was clean & there was also a whole bunch of signs saying to report if it isn't. Actively trying to make your stay more comfortable. i would defiantly book this hotel again. Thank you Crowne Plaza Team

The family room was a great size and everything was perfect but we were doing a staycation and booked so the kids could go in the pool but there wasn’t any warning that the pool was closed. There’s nothing else to do for children so it made it difficult to entertain them.

I found it a bit hard to understand when the concierge was trying to explain where the car park actually was. Instead of just saying it’s just next door I was under the impression he was saying it was on North Terrace. So of course we went to the car park on North Terrace. If you perhaps make up a paper copy of the instructions & car park location it may cause this happening again, I have stayed previously but did not use the car park. The pillows on my last stay were great this time however they were not. The swimming pool glass could be cleaned also they were very dirty. Not happy with the location of the room just looking onto an office building luckily it was a weekend.

Nice new hotel, but very busy, lift wait times were a bit long, strange having a lobby on the 10th floor, pool is nice, very convenient location walkable to everything Adélaïde has to offer. For the price the hotel is about right. If you’re after super luxury I’d look elsewhere.

Entry to hotel is terrible with the stairs. Libby on level 10 throws people off. Breakfast was terrible! If you’re a family of 3 breakfast is only complimentary for 2 people and we paid $19 for my 4.5 year old to eat 2 pieces of toast! Room wasn’t clean and was quite dusty.

Food cannot be faulted in restaurant, magnificent. A true credit to the chefs. The room service was average. Food cold and over an hour and a half on one occasion. Room cleaning everyday lacklustre, forgetting items such as toilet paper, towels etc. sink in bathroom not cleaned well at all. Reception staff average although given wrong information on arrival. Having said all that, it was 100 times better than Mantra Hindmarsh Square!!!!

What I liked about staying at Crowne Plaza Adelaide were the friendliness of the staff and the convenience of its location. Apart from that, I think this hotel should be re-branded as a 4 star hotel. There were no sound proofing in the rooms so you'll hear all the noise from other rooms and the hallway. You cannot have a good rest/sleep as you'll be waken by the outside noise. The shower water barely got hot and with very low pressure. There is only 2 lifts going to the rooms, so you'll have to wait around 5 or more minutes for the lifts to come. But the most disappointing of all was their breakfast. You do not get many options, the food tasted okay at best and the bread/pastries were stale. I would suggest not paying for the breakfast and having it somewhere else. The room cleaning was also not great. We left towels and used glasses to be replaced, but they were not. Overall, very disappointed with our stay. I do not think Crowne Plaza Adelaide should be a 5 star hotel. I would suggest staying at other similarly priced 5 star hotels.

My kid enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool. The room itself was ok, but the aircon a bit noisy. The breakfast bar has a variety of options which is good. However we didn’t quite enjoy the food. We tried Luna 10 bar, unfortunately didn’t like the cocktail the bartender suggested and made. Overall, it’s a good hotel for family to stay and have relaxed time.

Great location. Staff were friendly. Great breakfast. Parking was easy next door. Only issue was breakfast area is very tight and cramped. But breakfast was great other than that. My biggest concern is I booked Crown Plaza because it says soundproof rooms and my daughter was competing so sleep was crucial. This is not the case. We could hear coughing and talking next door and every toilet flush next door throughout the night and all street noise. It f this doesn’t concern you then I would stay here. Apart from this I would give it 5 stars.

We loved everything about our stay at Crowne Plaza we are super fussy and this hotel didn't disappoint. The staff were amazing in particular a staff member called 'Maria' who took the time to deliver to our room a list of all the best local attractions suitable for our family, this was amazing as we hadn't been to Adelaide before. Thank you Maria as this was so kind & personal to our holiday.

I didn't like there was no staff in the ground floor as I was attacked the morning i check out at 530am by a crack head and the fact there was no staff or security on the ground floor while I was waiting for my Uber was scary.

Hotel itself was fantastic. Staff service and booking was very poor. Double charged our stay and had to chase a refund. Had to repeatedly prove that we had paid for a package that included breakfast and parking as they had no record of it on their system.

Excellent second stay here - clean rooms and safe area. Understaffed at check in meant huge queues every time we visited reception - sometimes 5 people deep and it was a very slow check in and process to get questions answered when we revisited reception. Felt Like they were understaffed for the full Occupancy but all staff were v helpful

I was informed that all rooms were fully booked, so we were checked into rooms far from each other. However, after check-in, another receptionist advised that the hotel was not fully booked. Very unorganised staff at check in. No understanding of the booking that you have made. Putting through charges that are showing as paid but coming up in their system as not paid. 1 staff member in the bar run off her feet with no support. Also trying to do room service orders at the same time. Management need to be replaced or retrained as they have no idea how to run a hotel. Very dissapointing stay. The Mayfair Hotel is a mile in front of this place.

As frequent guests at the Crowne plaza, we normally have great things to say about our experience and stay. However this time round wasn't exactly as relaxing as we had wished it would be. The fire alarm was raised 3 times over the course of 2 days and we were evacuated twice due to tampering of the fire system. The fire alarm wasn't however the issue, we're grateful that the alarm system works. But the let down were the staff who made no effort to communicate to anyone what was happening. There was no direction on what and where to do/go. There were quiet literally 200 people on the street at 3am wondering what was happening.

2nd time at this hotel & we used our Expedia points to obtain a free night in a suite which we subsequently extended to 2 nights. Th e staff are very helpful and the venue is extremely clean and tidy. Situated in the East End of Adelaide CBD, it’s ideal for Rundle Mall, Adelaide Uni, the East End and when on, The Fringe. For the price, you’ll get a 10th Floor bar & pool area, fab views and a great product. Highly recommended

Lovely room, clean & great pool, however service at breakfast not so great. Had to ask staff for cutlery, most food stations were empty (despite another hour of breakfast service), coffee machine needed refilling & had to wait 15 minutes, then paper coffee cups needed refilling. We had to tell wait staff eaxh time, as they didnt seem to be watching.

The guest main entrance is far away from the main road which is difficult to get luggage in and out. The side entrance is hidden, the road is narrow and at times is blocked by a delivery truck. We've booked for 2 guests staying in one bedroom suit for 3 days and 2 nights but the hotel only gives toiletries to 1 guest only
