Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal

Our favorite hotel to stay at in buzzards Bay. My daughter loves the swimming pool and we love the beautiful balcony and fire pit overlooking the canal. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and it’s just a wonderful place to spend the night.

Stopped on the way home from the Cape for an extra day. Loved that we could get up and run along the canal, what a great spot for running. The best hotel gym I have ever experienced. We will be back.

This was advertised as an EV charging hotel, The charges were broken and the hotel didn’t seem to care. What’s worse is Buzzards Bay almost no chargers that work.

This cute hotel is not far from Falmouth and the ferry to head to Martha’s Vineyard. We enjoyed the pool, gym and nice breakfast in the morning. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

On the walkable canal, fire pit and large 2nd floor patio. Nice. Better then others.

Everything was wonderful . The only thing was we wanted to brush up on my 2 year olds swim lessons in the pool and the water temp was too cold. Other then that it was great all the way

Everything was great, except the firepit being broken for our entire four day stay.

A few things I’d suggest to work on. 1. Having the electric vehicle charging station working at all times for visitors. 2. More drink selections to purchase and add vending machines on the floors. 3. More television stations (there’s only about 15!)

Nice property with lovely outdoor sitting areas. Its along the Cape Cod canal so will be really nice in warm weather. Inside seating areas are also very cozy and inviting.

Found a used condom on an unmade/uncleaned bed when I walked into my room

This is such a great place to stay if you're in the area. Great local places to eat, the parking is more than ample, the staff is so accommodating and sweet, and the rooms facing the canal are perfect. The only "issue" would be how often the trash is thrown away from the public areas (in the portico, inside the lobby and the trash cans near the lobby elevators and on each floor by the elevators). They tend to pile up for at least a day or 2. All in all, its a minor issue compared to how nice the property and the staff is.

Area nice. Quiet room was dirty upon arrival. Bath with hair in it, no conditioner. Stayed for 3 days. Only room service once.

I really hesitated to write a review regarding our stay because I dislike writing bad reviews, but i think if someone is going to pay $250/night they should know they will not be getting what one should reasonably expect for that price range.. We ended up having to switch rooms because our original room had debris on the floor, a cracked toilet, a dirty sofa bed with no sheets, hairs in the bottim of the tub from previous guests, dust & chunks of debris along the headboard and other similar issues. The staff was acommodating and they were quick to assign us to a different room. Once we arrived at the new room down the hall we found more of the same: dirty floors, crumbs in front of the microwave & on the dresser, hair from previous guests in the tub and sink, a dirty bathroom mirror, crumbs and dirt in the pull out sofa bed with used sheet. This time, I decided not to complain or notify staff because I had already done so for the original room we were assigned to, and I did not have time to keep moving rooms, if I complained about lack of cleanliness once again. We just made do with what we had. I am upset that I paid $250 for a room I had to clean myself. It is unacceptable that a guest should walk into a hotel at this price and have to clean up messes from previous guests. Breakfast is also gross, considering the price tag. Its the quality I would expect at a $125/night hotel, not one with a $250/night price tag. Pool, park,.location and staff are great

When checking in which wasn’t until after 8 PM front desk assigned us to an obviously dirty room. Very frustrating staff should ALWAYS know what rooms are dirty and clean especially that late in the day.

The room had a very bad smell.

They need to dehumidify the rooms. The carpets are a bit damp and so too is the atmosphere in the rooms.

The hotel was very nice. We couldn't adjust the air conditioning to the temperature we wanted, so it felt a bit stuffy to us. Otherwise everything was very nice.

Our king size room was HUGE! There was more room than we knew what to do with. Will stay here again.

Very nice hotel - but the beds here aren’t the usual squishy comfortable Hampton Inn beds that we are used to oddly enough, which is the main reason we prefer Hampton Inns. But, very spacious rooms, quiet, lovely canal views, nice breakfast, they even had ready made To Go breakfast bags on our way out the door this morning checking out. AND they offer a craft beer area that you can grab a card for and pay for a nice beer if you want it. We were impressed & would definitely stay here again. Oh and we liked that the luggage trolley had plenty of Hooks on it! It’s Christmastime and we didn’t have a shortage of packages we needed to bring in. Oh & I also enjoyed their mint infused ice water at the check in desk! Very happy with all the nice little things this hotel offered! And lastly I could text them with any concerns I had - towels restocked etc & they were lightening fast with a a response. Well Done to the staff at this location! We will Happily Return!

The unit AC was loud and we had to shut it down in order to sleep. The cabinet refrigerator started rattling at 2am and we had to unplug it.

Overall, it is a really good place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the building is newly built and the amenities are new. The gym and the swimming pool are nice. Not too big, but it is reasonably equipped. The view is great. The parking lot is spacious. The only downside is the noise. It is not a very quiet hotel. People get up to get breakfast at 6 am and they are loud. No rules applied for a quiet time zone. The train also wakes you up a few times a week in early morning. If you are not a morning person like me, you won’t get enough sleep.

Nice room/quiet and clean

Waited at the hotel for 3 hours to check in as front desk said the room wasnt ready and she had not received an update from housekepping, went inside and again said she had not received a update but would check. The room had been ready the entire time i was there waiting as a matter of fact ecmvery room on the 5th floor was ready for check in, and instead of saying she hadent received an update she should have checked in with housekeep when we arrived to verify if the room was ready as most hotels do instead of making someone wait for hours, also reaxhed out at 7am to verify what time we would arrived as we had worked over night 10hrs and then had to drive 5 hrs to the hotel was not able to rest for hours due to her lack of customer service.

The gentleman at the front desk was fantastic. So helpful to anyone that came in. Highly recommend this hiyel

Great staff at the desk, Lindsey I believe. Her service was Above and beyond. We loved the Christmas decor, the kids had a great time. Very comfortable and the amenities are great. Breakfast was great as well. I stayed at Hampton inn in North Carolina in July and it was just as great. We will definitely be returning.

Computer systems were down, couldnt check in. Waited about 30 min at the counter- with 3 kids and an event in 1 hour

It was a very good experience over all!! Front desk personnel were amazing along with house keeping!! Continental breakfast was good also!

Newer property, tried to check in early but was denied, heat was blowing cold air, temp was 66 degrees, 1st time front desk said it was set too high and was drawing in cold air to cool down, 2nd time note left for maintenance, third time was told there is a motion sensor, no movement lower temps, was cold and uncomfortable most of the stay, requested clean towels and room cleaning, wasn't done, had to go to the from desk for towels, asked again for room cleaning, never happened. took away from the stay and experience

Location is convenient and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the room layout was great. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Great place to stay never had any issues. It is convenient to walk to downtown Buzzards Bay to the train or to get to the canal.

Had a wonderful stay with grandchildren. Access to the canal bike path, swimming and view of the canal and boats passing were the highlights. Great breakfast and coffee in the lobby for early risers was enjoyed.

This hotel was very nice & accommodating but my main concern was breakfast. If you can’t serve good food why bother. Just not a good selection at all.

The concierge at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room’s fridge and microwave were dirty and there was only one coffee packet in the opened coffee bag. The breakfast buffet was nearly gone when we came down at 9:45AM. Very disappointed.

Great staff, comfy bed, spacious room and close to buzzards bay polar express train. The only con was the scrambled eggs for breakfast, they tasted like powdered eggs or fake.
