HEART of WAIKIKI,1BDRM,FREE PARKING, WIFI,NO RESORT FEES,YOUTUBE,NETFLIX !

We came to Hawaii to visit family and ended up staying at a few different hotels throughout our trip. This hotel was by far the most expensive and the worst experience. If this place was advertised as just a kind of clean hotel with subpar facilities, I wouldn't be writing this; but the price and pictures do not represent what you're going to receive, especially compared to other hotels we stayed at in the area. I'll attach photos so you can judge for yourselves. The first thing we noticed after entering the room was the smell, which seemed like a mix of dust and cigarette smoke. The facilities looked much more run down compared to the photos, we noticed stains on the curains and walls, trash on top of the fridge, dust under the beds- it was just clear the place hadn't been cleaned proferly. Since we got to the hotel late, we decided to sleep there for the night but my daughter who's allelrgic to dust, roaches, and cats wasn't able to sleep since she was sneezing all night. While this wasn’t a great experience, the reason I’m writing a 1 star review is because of security concerns and the response we received from management. When we entered the room, me and my daughters noticed a cup on the counter with a picture of Jesus on it (hard to not notice) but ignored it. The next morning before we left we noticed the cup had changed. Instead of a cup with Jesus there was now a black cup with a quote and water inside. The property itself is in good, but busy location. The unit itself is a little dated but so am I so it worked well.Best things are the on site parking, 24 hour security and housekeeping, grounds crew.

Great location

That was a good stay, a few improvements needed although did not bother me that much e.g squicky balcony door or noisy AC. Property was better than expected and there is a big plus of having a free parking slot. Bit dissapointed becuase we couldn't use a pool until 3pm from Monday to friday due to ongoing outside building work, luckily beach is not that far approx 5 min walk. I can recommend this place without a doubt
