The Arts Hotel

The room is ridiculously small, no amenities. You have to go to the lounge on the 2nd floor to buy a coffee in the morning. No fridge or microwave and no TV. Very poor lighting. Never ever going back! It was way over priced considering it was like staying in a closet

Would absolutely not recommend this hotel unfortunately. The club next door was extremely, extremely loud. Our room on the third floor felt like we were in the club. The windows were actually shaking with the noise. Despite wearing earplugs, we got zero sleep until well after 2am when the club closed. We were totally unaware of the noise issues at this hotel and had received no information on our booking regarding the noise issue. We would never have booked this hotel if we had have known about the noise. We essentially did not get any sleep. Check in was terrible. 4pm with no opportunity for early check in when we had a wedding at 330 was tough. The hotel staff suggested getting ready at the bathroom in the cafe next door. The bathroom did not have outlets and the cafe/music hall patrons and staff were upset with us for having to use their bathroom (understandable but also the only option as per the hotel staff). The staff said the room keys were not working - thus, a staff member had to let us in the room every time we entered throughout our stay. Very inconvenient. Also a safety concern as we did not have to provide identification for getting access to our room (ie. we could have asked to be let in any room number and it seemed the staff would have opened the door for us. We felt very unnerved leaving our stuff in the room due to this). Room was mostly clean - however, some hairs were noticed in our bed sheets which wasn’t ideal. Not worth the price whatsoever.

The hotel is very well located and clean. It is minimalist or basic hotel. Nice lounge area where you can cook, watch tv or just relax.

As a novice solo traveler I was well taken care of and gratefully offered an early check in. I chose a quieter room upon check in as there is a music venue attached It was a Led Zepplin tribute band that night they do a variety It is Deluxe chic industrial Very clean and sleek but thoughtfully what you need I Could spend a week It is in a busy but nice part of town everything within walking distance Leonardos down the block was delicious and very busy and a brew at the beer garden at 6 with a band is a must lots of cool shops many patios come in the warm months PEI is a great holiday destination and you can fly right there in summer

I would never recommend this place to anyone. It was clean but the the rooms were extremely small and not having a fridge in my room was a huge inconvenience
