Rooms are very nice and clean. Plenty of parking space with a very nice restaurant right in front of the hotel very convenient for me. Pool was exceptionally clear and extremely clean. Housekeeping did an awesome job keeping my room up to par as needed. Definitely will be staying there again soon

I was pleasantly surprised. Clean room, bathroom. Smells clean as opposed to some hotels in coastal areas. Economical, great value. Clean pool. Breakfast included. I stay again. Fantastic restaurant attached.

Smooth check in. Booked with Travelocity. The room was clean and smelled really nice, ac was cold. The pool was fun for my kids, they loved it went to 8ft. The downside was I did find a live roach in the room.

Good value , simple old style rooms where you can park the car next to your room . Mexican restaurant next door. We stayed three nights. Clean pool . Breakfast was more of a snack bar with plenty of stuff to take to your room. No frills type of place might not please Karen and Ken

We stayed for a night in a two bed and slept comfortably. The room was very clean when we walked in. The property in general looked clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was friendly during check in and out. The morning we checked out the hotel provided breakfast and snacks.

Pest control needed BADLY. Roaches everywhere.

I have been traveling for 3 months all over the country and this is BY FAR the most clean of all places including corporate hotels! I was incredibly impressed by the staff, cleanliness and how quiet the property is. We will be back!!

The room had roaches crawling all over…. Had to sleep with the lights on. You know the place is infested when you see them in the mini fridge. I will never stay there again!

You can tell the family must live on site because when I walked in, you could hear kids/family in the back. I had to ring the bell 3 times for someone to come. Never explained anything about breakfast, check out, or if they even had wifi available. Room was big and comfy. It smelled good, but there were 3 cockroaches. 2 of the smaller German cockroaches and one big water roach. I'm not sure when breakfast is available, but when my husband went, there were different options including some homemade breakfast taco items. Waters and sodas in the fridge. I think there are hot dogs and ramen noodles available anytime. Cleaning staff just proceeded to open our door while we were still in the room about 9am. Didn't even knock. When I stopped in to drop off the room key, same thing, I waited for a while, rang the bell, no one came, so I just left. So in short...you get what you pay for...the room was cheap and overall was very comfortable and clean. If you don't mind bugs, you will be fine.

So if that is important look elsewhere AC was good, water pressure in shower was very good. Towels were useless bring your own, we immediately went to Walmart and bought some towels. Also bring some hand soap or soap for the shower. Staff will not answer the phone because they have the ringer turned off. Caught them doing this twice, also never answered my text. Otherwise good value if you’re looking for a budget hotel. Guess you get what you pay for

Shortened our stay Pros: Courteous staff, nice array of breakfast & snack items in lobby, in room fridge & microwave, 2 free bottled waters, clean overall, accommodated my request to shorten stay easily at 5a Cons: The towels were thin and on the small side. There were only 2 sets of towels although I indicated 4 travelers. When we requested more for our hair & bodies for the rest of our stay, they said we can get more at the front desk (rather than bringing to room) and only had 2 more. Also they stated that they do not provide towels for the pool and apologized for the inconvenience. The bathtubs had no stoppers, which is ok if your prefer showers, but my youngest child prefers baths. In the middle of the night, the toilet stopped flushing. Old fashioned touch tone phone, very low volume so hard to communicate. Although the floors (perhaps laminate hardwood) look nice, the sand from the beach remained on them and was uncomfortable to step on and got into our sheets. The double deluxe room was advertised as queens, but seemed more like full size.I usually sleep pretty soundly at hotels but the bed was firm and uncomfortable to me. I awoke around 3a and started thinking about checking out early. Although the ac initially kept the room cool, I woke up hot. My husband and kids slept soundly though.

Lots of space. Very quiet. Beds were hard. Breakfast was BBQ ribs.

Room was clean and nice.. The onky thing was a cricket in the drain very noisy. Bed wasn’t too comfortable but it was okay. Very quite stay.

Clean, big room without any bad surprises and at a low cost. WiFi did not work, but overall a good place.

The room we had was small, yet clean. I like the no carpet floors. Housekeeping made our bed and gave fresh towels, which are thin. The staff is very kind. They have food in the check in office for breakfast and great coffee. No coffee maker in room. I wish the amenities were pump style, instead of bar soap.

Very clean and comfortable! As long as they fix their WiFi issues, it will be a great property. I also enjoyed the free treats available to all guests at the front desk 24/7. P.s. very outdated in general.

Pros- budget stay, location, snacks, food and water, pool Cons- hard mattress, light from outside wakes you up early, noise from the main road, possible bed bugs.

Lots of food was offered in the office. The grounds were clean, but it was all pavement. The wifi wouldn't work in our room probably because it was far from the router. The office went through motions of trying to help with this but didn't really care. We quit asking for help, knowing it would get us no where and decided to go elsewhere early in the morning to do our work. The sink had something clogging the drain and the light over the vanity blinked on and off. Not a good deal for what we paid.

The night clerk was not helpful at all. Went down to get some water and snacks and everything was empty. The clerk was sitting behind the desk and never knew I was in the office.

The property info says 24 hr front desk. Check in time says ends at any time. If it hadn't I wouldn't have booked it.I called to confirm my stay and told them I'd be arriving at 2:30 in the morning. They said the front desk closes at midnight, when I asked when it reopened they said at 4 am. But I was told there would be a number I could call. It was too late to cancel my reservation. After traveling for 6 hours with a 3-year-old and 80 year old who has been traveling for 36 hours, there is no number to call, no one at the front desk is answering, there is a sticker on the front lobby door saying closed from 10:00 to 4:30 a.m., not 4. Right now it is 2:30 in the morning it's been pouring down rain and cold. I'm going to pay for a room for a total of 6 hours and now have to idle my car for the next 2 hours and hope that somebody comes to the door on time. This is completely unacceptable. If you're going to be closed from 10:00 to 4:30 in the morning don't tell people they can check it at any time, don't waste people's time and money! I shouldn't have to be waiting to pay for a room but I'm going to have for a total of 5 hours to get some rest. There's nowhere for me to go now so I'm just going to sit outside their office for 2 hours.

Had a reservation through you got there about 4 pm was informed they wouldn’t honor my reservation told me it wasn’t paid in advance you informed me when I booked it that it didn’t matter needless to say was very unhappy as they told me they were full found another motel for twice the price really think I should be compensated for that guess it’ll be the last time using your service

Last day we got locked out and had to wait until 4:20 A.M. to be let in to our room because there was noone at the front desk.

Location was nice to fishing.

Took my 13 year old son for a fishing trip. The Royal Inn was the perfect place to stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was in great condition. Free snacks were available throughout the day. Hotel is in a convenient location. Lots of restaurants near by and close to the bays.

What a wonderful place to stay. it’s close to the water, and my kids loved the stay. The rooms are very clean and smells really good.The only down fall is we booked a double bed but when we arrived they only had a room with a King bed so my family of five had to Improvise to make it through the weekend.

no place to sit in the breakfast area and very limited. Food in the breakfast area was old. Property was outdated. Towels were limited. Floors were still wet. we got it because it was the only one that was three star in the area, but it was not deserving of a three star.

This was our first time staying there, we normally stay at La Quinta when were in the area for fishing but due to our budget, I was looking for something more affordable. Quiet honestly budget or not we will stay here again. Our room was very clean, smelled fresh, the young lady that checked us in was very friendly and who ever does housekeeping does an excellent job. For being that the building looks a little dated from the outside, you will be pleasantly surprised when you walk into your room. And they also have FREE food all day. Not just cereal and waffles in the morning but hot food plus fruits and other snacks. I hope things don't change by the time we come back. Thank you and keep doing what your doing. We had never left a tip at a hotel before but it was truly well deserved 😊✔️

It was nice as always. Dinner, soup, hot dogs, snacks and drinks all provided for free. Quiet. One small roach seen and destroyed as we came in, first ever. Friendly.

They offer breakfast in the morning. They also have snacks and drinks all day for free which is awesome. They staff way very friendly. The room was nice and clean.

For the price, this place is overall great! Our room was very clean (and I always check). Bed was comfortable, AC worked, there was a fridge and microwave. They even have a pool, restaraunt and bar onsite, which we loved having available. The office seems to close at 8pm, but they have food (cooked food, as well as snack food) for free in the office as long as they're open. They don't have pool towels so make sure you bring your own. We did. It did take us a couple of days to get extra towels and wash cloths and they wouldn't let us do a late checkout this morning. That was a bit unfortunate, but not a deal breaker. The guy who answered the phone at the front desk and the housekeepers don't seem to understand English, but are friendly. The pool tile is peeling some, but the water was clear and clean. For the price this is a gem. We will definitely be back to stay here when in the area. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you're in town and on a budget.
