Very comfortable 1/2 yurt room with king bed. 2 sliding doors and huge windows looking out on the golf course with hills in the distance. There is a pool, 2 restaurants, tennis/pickleball court and lots of hiking trails, all within walking distance. Main activity is a beautiful golf course - very popular. We would stay here again.

We arrived at this property in early September and while the room was very comfortable to call it a resort would not be accurate - especially when the pool was closed for the season. There are activities available (golf and pickle ball), but it was not clear how to access them. It was very hard to find - no signage from the road and a very awkward entrance. It had a very comfortable bed and nice views and it was very quiet - partially because there were very few guests. We arrived on a Sunday and there was very limited food options in the vicinity, although a town with many restaurants was a 20 minute drive away.

This location is one of those unexpected WOWS! Sits out by itself so extremely quiet.(Stay was during the week, understand weekends very busy) The staff, especially the manager were outstanding. The bungalow style rooms with wrap around decks very comfortable and included all amenities. (Refrigerator, microwave, coffee, toiletries.) The resort includes an 18 hole golf course, clubhouse, tennis courts, swimming pool, snack area, RV park, hiking trails, and an on site restaurant. The best is the views! A short walk from the rooms to the edge of the Crooked River Gorge and spectacular views of the river. If staying anywhere in this area, high recommendation for this gem!

Gorgeous view will make want to stay on your deck dawn to dusk just to watch the sunlight change in the landscape. Then back out for the stars at night. This is big sky high desert. A wonderful walking site to nearby food, drink and pool with snack bar. When we read reviews about pillows or breakfast, it seems some travelers are too judgey and don’t research amenities. Staff is gracious and welcoming and other guests say howdy.

The room was very small. The bed was memory foam. My wife liked it, but I didn't. The air conditioner was very small as well, but it didn't really keep the room cool enough. Probably only down to 78 degrees during the heat of the day. I doubt I will stay there again.

Arrived after the office was closed. My key was taped to office door in envelop with my last name on it, same for 2 other guests. I love the setting. Wish I'd had more time to spend there. I had to leave early to go to the Sister's quilt show. Google helped me navigate back roads to the resort, as the sun was setting. Blissed out being in Central Oregon high desert.

So cute!! It was perfect for my partner and I. We were in the area visiting family but wanted a space of our own. Our yurt was super cute, well sized for two people, very clean, and comfortable! We had a late check in and the process was super simple. I spoke with the office on the phone and they were incredibly kind and helpful. We have already recommended it to others and we would definitely stay here again!!

The people here were the friendliest I’ve ever come across. Super attentive and genuine. The place is simple resort but very nice and quietly tucked away down in Crook River Ranch. We loved how they have trails that are accessible from our porch! We’ll be back.

It really was a lovely place. I would highly recommend getting the suite (full yurt), as its size was perfect for a family. One thing that I wished I had known as an out of towner is that there are very limited options for dining. This is not really a "city" and while the food carts were lovely, people should think about bringing their own coolers for sure!
