I recently stayed at the Cambria Hotel Detroit - Shelby Township and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is modern and stylish, reflecting the spirit of Southeast Michigan. The room was clean and spacious, but I couldn't get the TV to turn on manually or with the remote. It was plugged in, so I'm not sure what the issue was. It had a coffee maker and a comfortable bed though. The walk-in shower in the bathroom was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. They assisted with figuring out why my card was charged twice and assured me I would be refunded, which I was, but it was still annoying. It took 3 different staff members to understand what was happening. Apparently if you book through Expedia and use a debit card, you will be charged the full price of your room as a security deposit and it will get removed 3 days later. The hotel offers free parking and high-speed internet, which was very convenient. One of the highlights was the indoor heated pool and the fitness center, which were both well-maintained. The hotel bar served locally brewed craft beer, adding a unique touch to the experience. The location is also a plus, with several restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend the Cambria Hotel Detroit - Shelby Township for its comfort, amenities, and friendly service.

place rates really good we stay here every year and visit our home town. There is a few things that they can be better on since your delivering a high rating for people online. The floors are all solid composite wood which is good but you have to mop them diligently - we found ourselves grossed out by the stickiness and white socks getting dirty black on the bottom felt gross. Also small issue but the Lavazza coffee in the rooms not that good and only two creams left in room each day from room service not enough for two people lol ! once again small issue but when your appealing to the people why not go the extra mile dirty floor gross !!

Beautiful hotel. Highly recommend! Verona restaurant was amazing as well! Only thing I didn't like is not having a smart tv or being able to cast things to the tv. Thats minor though. I would stay at this hotel all the time 😇

Perfect place for staying overnight for a wedding, pleasant and efficient staff, clean and spacious rooms, ample parking and plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Starbucks, Tim hortons, chase, Walmart, chipotle, sushi, Popeyes, etc! My only complaint is the room doors slam a bit loud but otherwise, wonderful stay!

I really enjoyed my stay. The restaurant food selections had variety and the entree’s I ordered were excellent! The hotel was clean and neat. The only drawback was not having a microwave in the room. The complex only offers a community microwave located in the lobby inside their store. Overall I would recommend this location to others.

Pros: room was large, very spacious. Although we didn’t get to try it, there is a restaurant in the hotel that is known to be very good. Cons: you can hear everything from other rooms. The hotel room doors are soo loud when they shut, it’s almost hard to fall asleep. Guests are rowdy. Parking lot “views.” If you’re looking for an elevated experience, this is not the hotel for you. But if you want a place that is inexpensive and in/around the area you’re traveling for then stay here.

This hotel is awesome! I got a king suite and the set up was incredible and the room was very clean and comfortable. There was a restaurant in the building that had really good Giuseppe. The lobby was loud so I requested a high room away from all the noise. Thursday night is the loudest, but the rest of the nights weren’t so bad. I don’t have any complaints about the room or the service I receive. I was incredibly pleased with my stay and will stay again.

Such a well kept, clean hotel. Love the vibe with Verona Itialian Restaurant as soon as you enter. The whole staff was very nice and accompdating. Nice facilities and will say had a great experience at Verona even when I ordered drinks and the calamari! Will for sure be back to try the whole experience of what the Restaurant has to offer. Would be nice if they did breakfast for those that aren't looking to leave the hotel. Otherwise a great experience!

This property was nice, newer, and well kept up. One item to note, was that to get your room cleaned, you have to request service by 9a that morning- which we did. Although we did request service, our room was never cleaned that day, so the process doesn't always work. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

I thought the staff could have been a bit more trained in service and hospitality. Often times they never smiled, made me feel like they were doing me a favor and didn't have solutions. I'd come back but I hope you will take this feedback to improve service halothane for your future customers.

Our stay at the Cambria Hotel Detroit was great. This was the second time trying here and not times were excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar are also very good. Rooms are large and super comfortable. Great place to stay when in the Almont, Imlay City area.
