Stayed 3 nights

On arrival it felt just like in Tarzan, romantic and the reception service was very good, Miguel did everything to explain and make us feel welcome. They arranged the suitcases too. Once in our tent, the beds were very nicely made and the style is nice too, though the moisture was very high. This means there is a lot of mildew and wet tents and wood. This type of stay is an experience we wanted, though we found that the maintenance definitely needs to be upped! Kitchen is bare, leaking pipe, wood surfaces worn, toilet seat needs replacing etc. Generally we won’t do it again especially with kids, as with the storm we had the second night, we had a short sleep. First noght too of course to get used to the sounds and no light, but that we expected;-). Breakfast was ultimately good though, and again great service. The wifi did not work either in our tent, so for our work and school we had to take it to the main house. The main house is very nice to hang out at, so that’s what we did most of the time.

Everything about this place is next level. Comfortable bed/pillows. All I could hear at night was the wildlife lulling me to sleep. No noise of cars or people. Not to mention the privacy. No other guest are in close proximity to your accommodation. Breakfast is a unique experience. The table setting took me back to being a child when etiquette was practiced. The service, cleanliness were impeccable and I won’t spoil the surprise with the food. I give Colina secreta a 12 out of 10 for me!

An escape into the lush jungle with all the amenities of a four star hotel. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds after a fresh, homemade breakfast. A must stay if you have a car rental.
