ALMOST NO AMENITIES- no coffee pot in room, only 1 ice machine in entire place, no ice buckets. TINY ROOM for the price. WILL NEVER STAY AT A TRU AGAIN!!! Way OVERPRICED. Even the bed was uncomfortable

The staff was so nice to us and the bed were top Notch. That’s what really matters to me. I do think a faculty should have a pool at these rates. And I just missed breakfast because my early morning zoom meeting didn’t end until 9:10. Bah! I was hungry!

Unfortunately, the computers were down when we checked in and we were not able to get room keys. They never brought us keys. We had to always have someone in the room so that we could get back in. It wasn’t until the next morning when we went down and asked for keys. They finally gave us keys, but we were checking out in a few hours anyway, the room has no closets and no dressers. It has this funky teenager bedroom vibe. There was no coffee in the room, which is a standard in almost any hotel room that you stay in. It was way over priced for what it was.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I checked the website along with several of my friends and family. We solely picked this hotel because it said there was a pool. Little did we know or would have ever thought, it meant pool table. Especially when the website states indoor and outdoor pool. With the price being almost $200 a night and there is no SWIMMING POOL is unacceptable.

The hotel had a cool vibe, I liked the aesthetic. There was a fun "game room" with a pool table and the eating area was nice. We came for a Run in the area and they had "to go" breakfast bags for us. The bed was comfortable. Only negative thing was that Expedia charged me and so did the hotel so now my money is tied up until a refund.

The hotel is a good stop over for a night if you’re passing through. Check in was easy and the room was clean. The air conditioning unit did not work in one of our rooms, but we were able to move to another room. Overall, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast in the morning was good, although I had to turn on several of the machines as it did not appear the staff had turned them on (pancake machine and rolling toaster oven). Not a huge problem though - the staff seemed a little thin and were very busy. I’m sure like most places, the hotel may be understaffed. Overall, I’d recommend for an easy night’s stay over.

The water system was not great. After run water for a second the water turn brown looking....but other then that the staffs was great and well communication with you of ypu had questions about anything...

The hotel is subpar for its price point. All the trash cans are overflowing with garbage. The chalking in bathrooms are peeling and moldy. The sink drains extremely slow. The hot water got the shower stop working and we were force to take a cold shower. The towels are very thin and cheap. We ask for more towels and none were clean. The staff is never at the front desk, they are always sitting in a booth on their personal phones while the lobby is a mess. Multiple people walk out of the hotel base on the quality to go to the Hampton Inn across the highway. Do not stay at this hotel unless you want a memorable experience of amazingly bad hotel experience.

I appreciate that the property is situated away from other properties and is fairly new The property is not clean. The elevator needs to be cleaned and shined. The hallways need to be vacuumed. The floors in the room were sticky, neither swept nor mopped. We sanitized our room, drove eight hours, and our room was not ready when we arrived. the breakfast was skimpy, not many choices. The towels were rationed had to ask for them the hotel has great potential just need more help.

Hallways, especially by elevators did not look like had been vacuumed in weeks. Room was not as clean as would like. Beds were very comfortable and clean. But the toilet water looked brown. And the faucet water looked clear but tasted discusting just when i rinsed my mouth. Can not drink that. The was a note saying waste will be discolored at times, but the quality was fine. Right!

TV did not work, and had to move my elderly parents up a floor, which was very difficult. There was no microwave in the room and the fridge was tini-tiny. Expensive for what you not get. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance and there were more things that didn't work that what did.

The check in was fine. The room looked clean and had two queen beds. However the beds were too hard and the pillows were too soft.y sister complained about the low water pressure. After 10pm there was a lot of noise and walking around above our room. This lasted over 15 minutes. I didn't call the front desk, but would have if it continued after the movie I was watching ended.

We traveled 3 hours to this hotel for a tennis tournament, only to be told at check in that none of us had rooms to stay in (10:00 pm). We notified the desk attendant that we had proof of our reservations and confirmation numbers. The desk attendant told us there were NO rooms available and unless a room was already “assigned to us” that having a reservation & confirmation did not guarantee a room at their hotel. When we questioned her about this & reiterated that a reservation & confirmation DOES guarantee a room (that is why you make them), she proceeded to tell us that “our system doesn’t work like that”. She never apologized or appeared to be the least bit concerned that 4 women were 3 hours from home, in an unfamiliar & “not so safe” town without anywhere to stay. She later called to tell us that she could “waive the cancellation fee” for the rooms that they obviously gave to someone else. I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service or such a poorly managed hotel.

When we got up to our room, we noticed that the shade for the window was off, and rolled up in the corner of the room. The valance had been broken, and would not hold the shade. Hence the parking lot light shined into our room the entire night, making the sleeping conditions pretty awful. When I informed the front desk attendant who had checked us in of the situation, she couldn’t have cared less. For $200 a night at a Hilton property, I would have expected better room conditions or to have been moved to a room with a working shade.

The hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood, yet it was easy to find. The room was suitable for a senior citizen and the bathroom was one of the safest I have used , particularly the shower. I take along two grandchildren with me a teenager and a primary be schooler and we all were comfortable.

Good location , great check in and staff. Walls a thin(shouldn't hear others toilet or convo), room was little on small compared to others, and I had two medium size insects in bathroom. I recommend increase the door closing pressure to allow the room doors to close more silently and aggressive. Being it closes so aggressive It also was creating pressure/vacumm on other room doors

The shower was dirty, the trim around the door was coming apart and did nothing to stop water from running in the floor. The AC/Heat did not work in the room, it was miserably hot. The breakfast was very limited with the pancake machine being broken, no milk. It seems like very minimal maintenance and upkeep if any at all is being done.

Check-in staff and process were great. Breakfast setup and oversight was late and inattentive. Need some staff training on keeping coffee pots full and breakfast items supplied. After a 20 minute wait, we finally had to leave for the day without coffee.

My husband and I booked a room for 2 nights at Tru, in Greenville Mississippi. The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff was amazing, anything we needed they were very prompt. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that need a room. They have amazing continental breakfast. I also wanted to send a special shout-out to “Mark” they ran out of OJ and he went to the back and made me some freshly squeezed OJ. He was absolutely amazing and very polite, all the staff were amazing. I’ll always book a room here if I ever travel to Greenville again. The only downside is they don’t have a closet to hide your luggage, but there are hooks and hangers to put your clothes away, and extra space under the bed. If there’s a Tru hotel in any state that you travel, I highly recommend them. Thank you Tru for making our vacation comfortable.

This hotel has became one of my favorite spots to stay whenever I come home to visit family and friends. The continental breakfast is great but needs improvement like making sure there is a enough supply for the morning. Overall, it's a great place to stay.
