My husband and I have been going to the Rangeley area for nine years and have stayed in six different cabins, and this is our favorite. It has a beautiful open layout and an incredible wall of windows looking out onto the lake. The kitchen is well-laid out and comfortable to work in, which you cannot say about most cabins. It is also very private, which we appreciated. The dock is a bit higher than usual, so we had to get into the water to climb into our canoe, which is very minor. I only mention it in case that matters to someone. We are looking forward to going back again next year. It delivers exactly what the photos and description promise.

Beautiful and peaceful camp. Highly recommend and plan to revisit again. Has a very private setting. Loved hearing the loons and the beautiful view of the sunset and the surrounding mountains.

Stayed 7 nights

My family of 4 (with two kiddos, 6 and 8) had such a restorative and fun stay at Gerstley. Loon Lake (and the loons who live there) was the highlight - it is so peaceful, with the loons calls echoing across the lake and between the mountains. Access to the lake is easy from the cabin, and the view through the big windows is lovely. Nearby Rangeley is a wonderful little town, the highlights of which were Pine Tree Frosty for ice cream on the lake and The Farmer’s Daughter for fresh produce and locally sourced products. We’ll be back to this area and will rent from this group again! *****
