The first thing when you walk in,you see how spotless clean and smell nice it is.The staff was helpful as well as professional and friendly.Even though it was a very busy weekend for the hotel,the staff atteneded to our every need.The breakfast items would be running low ,(as it was very crowded) but the staff kept refilling working very hard to attend to everyone..no wait more than a few minutes on anything,always smiling .Real comfortable room with great beds and pillows .Even if the indoor pool isnt heated ,the room is so the water was o.k. to swim in.We will definetley be back!!

Clean room, basic amenities, hot breakfast, indoor pool and fitness center, and convenient location provided a good, no-frills experience for a weekend away. Rates were reasonable for a weekend. Noise from guests and slamming doors can be a bit of an issue. Seriously, why are all hotel doors so loud?

There are many good points about this property like a very comfortable bed, cleanliness, a pleasant eating patio, spacious lobby, etc. I would recommend it for those reasons. Unfortunately, the staff was not able to keep up with the crowd during the rush on the holiday weekend so if you were not willing to wait in the long lines (6-8 people), you did not get a hot breakfast. They also gave me information when booking the reservation which they reneged upon. I am glad to report that they eventually did something to "compensate" for it though it should have come voluntarily and much sooner than it did.

Unfortunately, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Feces in toilet and handprints all over shower door Front offered new room but I was already undressed and my spouse had gone out to park the car.

I’ve stayed on the property a few times now. Came in town this time for my Fathers 80th birthday event. Had a great time. Although we didn’t complain about it. We didn’t appreciate the constant running around and jumping really hard from the room above. At times it sounded like construction. And I did report the shades would not open because the pull chain was broken.

The pillows were too soft but other than that the room was very clean the bed was comfortable. The remote you had to angle a certain way in order to change the channels. The food was good it would’ve been nice to have a turkey option for meat. Everything was clean in the surrounding area.

Rooms -are clean. Staff on the other hand. Very selective on who they want to help. Don’t go the extra mile to assist or provide support or clarification. They do NOT take ownership for 3rd party bookings much less holding fees charged apart from your stay for incidentals by the hotel chain. I honestly felt like I was the step redhead child because I booked my stay with Hotels.com. As if I was not a paying customer! Comments made: We have nothing to do with 3rd party bookings. We can’t provide you with the same customer service provided to our members because you did not utilize our website to book your reservation. Treat Others the Way you would expect to be treated! Training Is key element in hospitality! Staff looked very overwhelmed, rushing through your check-in and any additional services needed. District manager on site and just stood there watching me and the agent interact as I was checking in. Not even a HELLO! I was told in order for my concern to be addressed I had to email the manager after several phone calls to the property. FYI! Any deposit taken separate from your payment processed through any 3rd party booking company Has Nothing To Do With The payment taken at the time of your checkin! It’s The Hotel policy! And it’s separate! Blaming 3rd party billing! Make it make sense. I have yet to get my refund from the hotel for incidentals. It’s been 3 weeks since I checked out! Be ADVISED!

I would have given them a perfect rating but the lady that was in charge of the breakfast yelled at my wife because she asked if there was any bacon other than her the staff was wonderful.

Hotel was great. 10-12 minutes away from Harper's Ferry. On a Sunday morning it was an hour drive into DC. Staff was kind, room was a decent size and clean. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. Breakfast was fairly standard for a free hotel breakfast. That's about the only improvement I would suggest.
