GRANO HOTEL Gdańsk Old Town

Good breakfast, clean room. Pool is open only till 9 PM. Too early for guests who explore the town and would like to go for a swim in the evening. Changing room is not well kept, significant standing water increasing risk of falls. Used towels strewn about. Room pull out couch is usable only for children. At 180 cm tall, I was unable to comfortably sleep on it. The duvets in the rooms were too small. AC/Heating was not working well in the room, we resorted to leaving the windows open for air circulation. The front desk staff were generally indifferent and not very helpful.

Very large and comfortable room. Spa facilities were great apart from the fact there was too much chlorine in the pool, made eyes water was so strong. Otherwise everything else was amazing.

The property is conveniently located next to the main city highway yet is exceptionally quiet. It is at the edge of the old town - an easy walk everywhere. The best part was the spa experience (though crowded on weekends) and the cleanliness of the hotel. Only disappointment was parking situation. Upon arrival, the front desk guy said that their parking was full and there was no Valet option. He informed us that if we parked on the street, we risked to get a parking violation ticket, though there were no NO PARKING signs. On the last day of our stay hotel parking became available, but it was difficult to find a parking spot under the building. A 30 euro price per night was rather steep when there was a free dirt lot parking in front of the hotel (though always overflowing) and other hotels in the area offer a 10 euro parking. Our room had no view (we saw a building across a tiny street) but it had a balcony and as the building across the street waa empty, it felt private and it was quiet. Two elevators were always too busy for a huge building and rather difficult to use. Otherwise it was a wonderful and relaxing stay in a modern, very clean, conveniently located hotel with a relaxing spa.

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms and a short walk away from everything you need! The only negative thing ia that the spa/pool and saunas freels more like a swimming pool for kids/families. It is not a very relaxing and calmning environent ... We ended up spending just 5 minutes there because of this, so if you are looking for a spa hotel, this may not ne for you, unless you are a family with small children.

Sehr schöne geschmackvolle Zimmer, die Parkgebühren sind aber unverschämt. Auch der Spa-Bereich ist klein und wird dem Namen des Hotels nicht gerecht. Er ist eine „Kinderhölle“, lediglich zwischen 21 und 22 Uhr haben nur Erwachsene Zutritt, um diese Zeit sitzt man aber normalerweise beim Essen und nicht im Spa.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel im Herzen von Danzig. Alles hat uns gefallen, keine Beanstandungen bis auf nur ein Problemchen, dass im Gebäude zu wenig Fahrstuhl gibt für so viele Gäste. Zu den spitzen Zeiten muss man ganz schön lange auf einen Fahrstuhl warten. Ansonsten würde ich jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel unser Zimmer für das Erkunden der Stadt buchen.

Ruhige Zimmer mit allem was man braucht Sehr gutes Frühstück Perfekte Lage am Rande der Altstadt Praktische Tiefgarage, allerdings mit 120 PL sehr teuer. Alternativ kann auch vor dem Hotel geparkt werden, soweit Parkplätze frei.

Generelt pænt hotel, god beliggenhed, venligt personale. Flotte og store værelser. Spa & wellness området, der kunne man godt indføre Max.antal i poolområdet. Der bliver hurtigt meget fyldt og trængt når det ikke er større. Man burde overveje om der skal være div. Legetøj i poolen der bliver hurtigt meget støjende og akustikken er i forvejen ikke god.. man burde sætte nogle akustik plader op.. så ikke så meget spa/wellness oplevelse men mere svømmehal. Morgenmad, er okay. Men div. Pålæg, salater, smoothie burde man have stående på køl. Det er lidt lækre også når man kommer forholdsvis sent ned til morgenmaden så tingene ikke er tørre og varme..

Very convenient for the old town and lots of places of interest.Plenty of restaurants , cafes and bars close by. Hotel itself was very clean and well maintained with pleasant and helpful staff. Only slight negative was the pool-rather small, crowded and not a relaxing experience. I’d give it a miss, there’s plenty to do without packing a costume!

Hotellet är jättefint. Ligger jättenära Gamla stan men ändå utan störande ljud. Väldigt lätt med parkering och rummen är fina med en liten balkong. Bra städat men dom gjorde inte rent glasen eller glasflaskan som man har för att fylla på vatten. Spat på nedervåning är väldigt fint men det är kaos innan 20.00 då barn inte längre får va där.

Fabulous hotel, spacious very clean room with all you needed. Friendly reception staff, able to leave luggage until you’re ready to leave. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The spa facilities were also fabulous, really relaxing and all very clean. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel , amazing food at the restaurant. Lovely breakfast. Cleanliness should improve especially at the room shower , sauna and pool floor. However we had great time and will book in future again!!!

We had a very positive stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always welcoming, which made the experience even better. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city, and it offered very good value for money. Overall, an excellent stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Hotellet ligger i gåafstand til den gamle by og flere seværdigheder. Der var gode parkeringsmuligheder - også gratis, hvilket receptionen informerede os om ved tjek ind. Fint spa område og dejlige rummelige værelser. Ville dog have værdsat en lodt mere grundig rengøring, så vi havde sluppet for fremmede menneskers kønsbehåring i sengen.

Very nice and fresh hotel. Stayed in a junior suite and all except water pressure in the shower was good. Very close and easy access to the old parts of Gdansk

Our room was amazing with a big bed and sofa bed. Lovely shower room also. The spar area was great too. The staff were also really helpful and the location was perfect. We did not eat or drink so cannot comment on the bar or restaurant although it did look cool.

Super beliggenhet, super service og nydelig frokost! Det eneste minuset jeg har er at det var veldig lytt mellom rommene. Ellers alt helt supert!

Good location, modern good sized clean room & bathroom. Toiletries & tea/coffee in room. Quiet area, but walls not soundproof within hotel. Double room booked was 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single duvets.

Beautiful spacious modern room, great facilities in handy location

Hotellet virker nytt, det var rent og ryddig. Stort og moderne rom, vi hadde «utsikt» mot veien og det var mye bråk og sirener på natten. Forferdelige puter og vond seng. Veldig sentral beliggenhet. Innsjekk gikk fort, men det virket ikke som om personalet har så lyst til å være på jobb. Ikke et smil eller noe ekstra, ingen hilser når du kommer inn. Bassenget var OK, men vannet i dusjene var så kaldt at det ikke gikk an å dusje.

Virkelig godt ophold med fin udsigt over byen, og et rigtig godt og tilpasset værelse. Eneste klage er dog at vinduerne ikke er særlig lydtætte, så der kommer meget støj fra vejen igennem. Men ellers et meget velfungerende hotel.

Reception staff was miserable and disrespectful. Room was too hot - air con ineffective. Front of hotel rooms suffer from traffic noise - you will hear every siren etc, and there are many during the night. Housekeeping was excellent, spotless clean.

We had an almost perfect stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. However, we did encounter an issue in the spa area. While the facilities themselves were great, the floors were very slippery, and it seems they could benefit from more frequent cleaning. Unfortunately, my partner slipped in the spa area, and the response from the staff was disappointing. Instead of offering assistance, the staff member initially rolled their eyes and didn’t even help her get back up. This was a shame, as everything else about our experience was exceptional. If the spa staff were a bit more attentive and the cleanliness improved, it would truly be a perfect place to stay.

Clean, comfortable and friendly. This hotel is centrally located with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and spacious. We weren’t able to use the spa facilities but they seemed lovely. Would recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a hotel in Gdansk

Location was close to the old town and plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms were very clean and plenty of space in single rooms. Reception staff was always keen to help - even if you want to post a letter or collect an item from paczkomat they will be here to assist and inform how to do it. Spa area was great too - clean and not too full so you can enjoy it even in the evenings. Breakfast was not the best choice but there are plenty of great breakfast options locally. Hotel well connected by trams and airport was easy to get to by 2 trams as well. I recommend this place for a city break.

Litt skjev start fordi vi måtte vente lenge på rommene. Da ene rommet ikke var klart til "fristen" fikk vi oppgradert rom. Bra service, hyggelig betjening, bra hotell.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The spa area was an added bonus as it was lovely to relax in there in the evening or pop in for an early morning swim. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The whole experience felt very special - it was a perfect getaway we’ll always remember :)

Stay away from this hotel, it is managed by mobster Pawel Zarembski who should not be in the hospitality or service industry,\xa0instead he should be in jail. It is very sad that Pawel Zarembski is racketeering in this beautiful hotel. We checked in on march 16th and our reservation was for 2 nights. I already paid for it via expedia. I checked in and a nice\xa0front desk agent checked me in. She was very nice and even helped me get to my room. We liked our stay and we decided to extend our stay for another two nights. Once again, we paid it via expedia. Nobody asked for any credit card or payment. Our\xa0second reservation was from 18th to 20th. We met Pawel on 19th march around afternoon. I came downstairs and tried to get new cards for room and spa towels from him, he refused and he did not even listen to what I was trying to say. I was trying to explain to him that I extended our stay and we need new cards. He started yelling and refusing me. Then I was like how am I going to go to my room if my card is expired. Finally, he decided to ask for my room number after 5 minutes of arguing. I honestly did not know what his problem was. All I wanted was to get new cards, but he chose to yell and refuse me. Even other guests were staring at him. I commented on him saying "this is not good hospitality". He responded like "Do you want me to kick you out? I can also call the police, actually I don\'t need that, I will kick you out with no problem, watch out."\xa0 His comment was very alarming fo

Hotel Grano is a clean hotel in a great location, walkable to the old town. Best shower ever, great beds and the hotel offers free sparkling water. The rooms offer good heating and the hotel provides umbrella for those rainy days

Nice hotel. Just a 2–3 minute walk from the city center. You avoid the noise from downtown and the pedestrian street. The hotel is a bit noisy, but we didn’t experience any disturbances. Comfortable pool, jacuzzi, and steam bath that you can enjoy after a long day. We didn’t dare use the kettle because it seemed old and possibly rusty inside. Otherwise, a very nice hotel. We’d be happy to come back.
