It’s a quiet cozy place to stay .. It is also pet friendly.. The fact that they offer a decent free breakfast each morning along with coffee all day long is enough for me to give it a four star.. the gym was just enough with a nice big TV. Of course I was the only one in there so it was especially perfect.. but it had everything you would need to get a good workout in. There’s easy walk ability to Chick-fil-A and five guys among other destinations across the street… I booked here for a visit to a family member who lives close by and it served a great homebase.. both my daughter and I thought the beds were too good to get out of. My only complaint is that the pool heater was not working.

I travel A LOT for business and pleasure, so I like to leave reviews when there are places like Home2 Suites in Largo that are above average...via a Top 5 List and an Overall Grade 1-100: 1) The Kitchen Options (everything is there for you AND there's even portable grills if you ask the front desk. But that's not all -- there's a full patio with 2 grills, if you're so inclined. HUGE Fridge! 2) The bed was Super Comfortable with excellent, fresh bedding. 3) Plenty of reachable outlets for all your charging needs and extra devices. 4) The entire complex is new and as clean as can be (plus safe). 5) The staff was Great! I got a late check out with ease, which is Always much appreciated. Only negatives: the shower head is mid range, with Weak water pressure (annoying for me personally, as I liked to be Blasted By Water when traveling) + there were no carts for at least a half hour when I was trying to load up and leave + seemed like it was 80% 20-somethings (for whatever that's worth) Overall Grade: 89

Amazing time at this hotel. We had the king suite. We had a delicious breakfast every morning with different varieties. I just wish they had real bacon/sausage, and heat in the bathrooms since it was always so cold when you get out of the shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pool was warm and it had a beautiful outside patio with a fire place and comfy furniture. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I would definitely visit again!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was comfortable and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast options were nice and Jacob at the front desk had excellent restaurant suggestions. Our only complaint is the lack of lounge chairs available at the pool; there were only four.

Wonderful location across from shopping and restaurants and close to beaches! Clean, comfortable rooms. We loved the variety of breakfast options and the saline pool. Excellent service from staff. We have stayed here multiple times.

Stayed here for the weekend and had a great stay. The pool was small, but it never got crowded. I appreciate that it was warm too. The saline did dry out my hair and fade my hair dye but I don't care, i had a great time. The breakfast was standard but good. The room was clean and had plenty of room. I would love to stay again.

The breakfast was excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and had good amenities. However, parking was a nightmare as construction was going on.

The staff was great. The room was pretty clean upon arrival. We had problems with our first room and were switched to another room and given a "store credit" which was really nice. The breakfast selection was really good in comparison to other places we have stayed at. I think the only place that could have room for improvement was the cleanliness of the room. The main areas were clean and the room was clean over all- just a few minor things that were overlooked some which may just be related to the age of the hotel. The linen, towels, etc. Are not the highest quality but for the price we were pleased. I would bring my family back and stay again.

The room is clean. You can see the staff cleaning the public area consistently. They have a big and beautiful dining area. The staff are friendly. I will definitely come back to this place again.

We stayed Friday and Saturday and checked out on Sunday. My first observation was with my new black light flashlight in the bathroom. TBH.I didn’t expect it to be spotless but the sheer amount of obvious urine all over the outside of the toilet bowl, on the floor around the toilet and the wall behind the toilet shocked me. The side of the king-sized bed that was closest to the bathroom had an obvious dip, and it was very uncomfortable for the two of us to try to sleep in the bed together without one of us rolling off. The bottom sheet was covered in fabric pills and the bed had a washed sour sheets smell, like when laundry is forgotten in the washer and started to mildew but they went ahead and stuck it in the dryer. The microwave in the room didn’t work at all and the A/C had two settings, freezing or heater. The buffet breakfast had assorted egg dishes that were wrapped in foil but were not warm and the egg and cheese omelette was very bland and rubbery, no bacon or sausage without the egg omelette thing. Other than that it was a typical continental breakfast nothing really notable. The back parking lot had a large section of pavement that was sinking that was just surrounded by traffic cones. The neighborhood itself was okay but the other patrons played in the pool loudly until 10pm which normally wouldn’t bother me, but I had my little dog with me and she kept barking at the noise so it really kind of annoyed me because we were right on top of the pool on the third floor.

Affordable hotel driving distance from all attractions. Dog friendly. Front desk staff are awesome. Cleanliness not great: we walked in and there was food left over from prior guests as well as Easter eggs on the floor( clearly they did not vaccum). We visited in April and I am still waiting for the manager to call me about my experience!

It’s a nice venue for a rec stay, but we saw small hairs in the shower from former guests. Also we found already used towels in he bathroom. Also we weren’t able to use deadbolt on our door, it was frozen. All in all; we’d only stay here if it the only option. We were disappointed and dismayed by our stay. We reported these problems to the checking desk the morning after we’d arrived and the desk clerk made notes but the next morning nothing had not been resolved. Our other concerns were still not corrected the location after the next day! The front desk made notes about our issues but the morning after we spent a second night, it was obvious that these issues had not been addressed before we left on Nov 16.

I slept so well. Sheets were cozy and the quiet on 5th floor was great! The staff were very kind and friendly. Shower was good pressure and hot. Kitchen and room were spotless. It was right across street from Publix and shopping mall. Everything was great. Thank you! Will stay again for business trip.

My only complaint was that there was no conditioner in the room. Joe at the front desk is a diamond in the rough for hospitality hold onto that gem!

This hotel has the most friendly staff and are very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is at full capacity and yet they are all smiling and very hear and happy to help.

Majority of staff were excellent and accomodating. The general manager is extremely rude.. doesnt offer solutions, just jumps to " ill just delete your current and future reservations". This happened to me because she interuppted a conversation i was having with an employee about check in. I asked her to please not interrupt and she quickly escalated to " IM A GENERAL MANAGER, IM CANCELING YOUR RESERVATION". her employees took a step back in disbelief. I salvaged my booking.. bit my tongue and said nothing more. We were booked on 5th floor, room wasnt finished. Unmade bed, no trash bags in trash cans. Dirty towels. House keeping was gonna take care of it. But she refused She made us move from 5th floor a king room that was ready, she made us vacate.. and our dirty room. We did not ask to be moved. But she forced us to move both rooms. I also winessed her use the same tone and statement to others and people on the phone. " im cancelling your booking and putting you on the list of not allowed to book". Her poor employees. They are so sweet and hard working. Could not apologize enough for her behavior. Very sad display of professionalism at that level of management.

I travel a lot to the Largo area with my buddy that’s in a wheelchair. The manager David and his staff are second to none. They always treat us so kind. Everyone on his staff from the front desk to the cleaning crew are professional and extremely courteous. They always go the extra mile for us. David and his staff are the reason we stay at this hotel every time we’re in town. I highly recommend! Richard Schultz

My stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Largo, Florida, was a nightmare that overshadowed a joyful wedding celebration. I booked two rooms—one for my husband and me from September 19 to 22, and another for the makeup artist from September 20 to 21. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by miscommunication and unprofessional behavior from the staff. Check-in on September 19 went smoothly, but on September 20 at 4:41 PM, I approached the front desk to check in the second room. Front desk male 1 was confused and indifferent despite my clear explanation, assuring me the artist could check in upon arrival. When the artist arrived late at 11 PM due to weather delays, she was met with hostility. Front desk male 1 denied her check-in, claiming no reservation existed. When I gave my room number, the situation escalated. The general manager intervened but refused to check in the artist unless I came downstairs. She then accused the artist of smelling like marijuana—a baseless and racially motivated claim. After much back-and-forth, I convinced her to allow the artist to return at 4:30 AM. When the artist returned, front desk male 2 apologized for the previous night’s ordeal. This experience left me shaken and forced to pay for a room the artist couldn't use. I hope management addresses this behavior to prevent future issues.

EVERY one was so friendly and courteous. The manager David is fantastic and is highly involved with the guests and puts in his share of the work right along with the other employees. Would I recommend this place? ABSOLUTELY!

No one was at the front desk, and I waited 15 minutes. Never apologized. Never made eye contact. Never smiled. Not friendly at all. No parking in lot, had to drive around 2-3 times

David and company were fantastic as always..this was our second visit this year and we will 100 percent be back in the spring for spring training baseball. Super clean and super friendly!

Great location. You can get to St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa in minutes. Shopping plaza and restaurants across the street. Very clean and comfortable with a good breakfast.

This hotel was very clean and the employees were all very pleasant. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the hotel is conveniently close to both the beach and shopping.

This is my second time staying in this property. The fact that it’s really close to my mom’s house is a plus, but I wish this type of hotel was in every town because the free breakfast and the complementary coffee all day is worth a ton.. it’s very close to Chick-fil-A and if you walk across the street, there’s a Publix among 30 other places to shop. Location is excellent and rooms are readily equipped with microwaves and full size refrigerator and dishwashers.

Breakfast food was not hot and had to wait 10 minutes for eggs

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The pillows were way too soft. The breakfast was terrible, understaffed, broken yogurt machine for 3 days.

The bed and the room was amazing however the food was terrible. The bacon was like jerky, we ate breakfast out. The coffee was good.

They ran out of breakfast prior to the cut off time. They should be sure to make enough food until breakfast is over. Otherwise the stay was pretty comfortable.

Since it was so highly rated, I expected a bit more. The mattress was comfortable but the sheets didn’t fit. Nice to have a sofa and kitchenette! Breakfast was ok…waffles and cereal and bagels. No eggs or meat except dried-out, overheated sandwiches. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
