Great hotel in the FiDi, easy walk from the 2 or 3 line of the subway. The elevators were a little slow and there is a bit of a wait. The car size was standard, so people checking in or out with luggage, only 6 or 7 fit comfortably. The rooms and common areas were clean, the Residence Inn side of the hotel was nicely appointed. We travel to NYC often and this will be our second choice in FiDi.

Hotel was nice. Once we checked in they had said our specific room wasn’t available anymore but said they would change the price that was charged which we were ok with. Also, property states parking which is the main reason we picked this hotel and the lot was full so we ended up parking two blocks away in the absolute pouring rain for $150 for two nights. Breakfast was good and didn’t try the restaurant. Room was clean and quiet.

Hiram was in a great spot. Staff was super nice. Bed was comfortable. The air conditioning in the rooms were subpar and was non existent in the hallways etc. very hot. the elevator was very slow. People were waiting 15 minutes at times. Food, the breakfast was ok. It was free, but it’s not something I would pay for.

Verizon cell service doesnt work in this area unless your on the hotels wifi and even then, its very faint. The elevator takes 10 mins to wait on, on average. The hotel restaurant may not he available for private events.

The stay was smooth and easy. The bed was confortable and the room was fairly clean. The only minus was the bedroom area having carpet, and thus is difficult to keep clean. Other than this everything went great.

Good location for us. We could see things on the floor of our room that led us to believe it hadn't been vacuumed. Room service came every other day yet we had to call to ask for toilet paper and paper towels because we ran out. The items we saw on the floor remained there for our entire 7-day stay. Good breakfast options and appreciated the luggage drop-off option. Had to use our room key to go anywhere in the elevator so we felt safe staying there.

Our check in was seamless. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk because we arrived early. Breakfast was great! The room was large and clean. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in bottles installed in the shower was a nice touch. It was relatively quiet especially for an NYC hotel. Location was great and walkable to many attractions.

Overall an ok stay. But paid extra for having a kitchen, but found not a single pot nor pan, no water cooker, no working coffee machine, no table to eat on. So a completely useless kitchen. Had a reservation for 4 but only got three sets of towels, three spoons, mugs, plates, etc. Did not get a fourth even after asking for it.

Residents Inn was about the right place to stay. We were very comfortable with a panoramic view of the skyline especially in the night. First night was a bit noisy from construction work in a nearby street. Reception staff were customer friendly and informative. Will come back again place.

amazing location, spacious rooms, nice views from right rooms xx08 all the way to the river. Very nice breakfast. Even on 33 floor the NYC noise is bit too loud. Kitchen has microwave and dishwasher no hotplate, nor cookware. You cannot sit for a meal as there is just one chair in the room and small office desk. Location is very safe and steps from subways, shops, restaurants. Walk to WTC, wall street, pier with a great view of Brooklyn bridge.

The noise from fridge in the room was a disaster and kept waking me up. They use the same elevator for the trash and house keeping and the elevator is always busy and takes forever to come up and down. Lastly theres a kitchen but no kettle , no toaster and no oven or stove top... So what is the point of the kitchen ???? Stay away !!!!

Loved to room but the shower door wouldn’t stay closed in my room. The thermostat was slow to react and didn’t have heat. It got cold at night and the heat didn’t work. The elevators were pretty slow. The menu in the restaurant didn’t seem that appealing. I did try a dish, it was okay but they don’t like substitutions for your order. Overall it was decent, I might return. Wish they had a better menu at the restaurant and you can’t add charges to the hotel because they are separate from the hotel which sucks because of the inconvenience. The front desk people weren’t the nicest. They seems standoff-ish and aloof energy.

Good area of town! Lots of 24 hour stops for food, coffee, and snacks. The staff even carried our luggage… Tried to check in early, and staff was very polite about it The one thing of note is that the elevator gets busy so you have to wait on occasion

The front desk staff are always welcoming, helpful and this time, went above and beyond to take a box I arranged for Fed Ex pick up and Fed Ex wouldn't take it, they personally took it over to the Fed Ex store.....that's amazing service!

I was leary about booking at this location because of the bad reviews. I am glad I booked it. The location was great, the staff was amazing and the rooms were great. The breakfast buffet was pretty good compared to other hotels I have been at. The selections were good and for the most part everything tasted good especially the small muffins and small apple pastry. Coffee was alright but I am picky with my coffee. I would stay here again.

my husband and i stayed there to celebrate my birthday and anniversary. We were there for 8 nights , the customer service is exceptional. I would like to highlight Jade at the front desk who was friendly, helpful and extremely polite. She assisted us with taxi arrangements back to the airport, locating a phone carrier as my phone did not work upon arrival in MYC. I would definitely return and recommend without any hesitation. Great location, service at the front desk was friendly and helpful, maid service in the room was good - one request for forgotten coffee replacement came up within minutes 👏 Had issues with the wifi connection in the room required repeated logins on all devices (Google phones and Lenovo laptops) except iPad was consistent. Initial connection took help from support (both phone and front desk) and then ongoing re-login from these devices. Annoying in 2025 to have these issues which is rare anywhere, much less a Marriott Hotel. The

I stayed for a week. The front desk staff didn’t seem very eager to help and made little effort to understand me in my language. The only memorable interaction was with the young woman who assisted me at check-out. Beyond that, everything else was as expected. The room was clean, and the dining staff welcomed guests with a smile. The elevator was extremely slow. Overall, this is just a place to sleep—don’t expect more.

The hotel is located relatively close to subway stations and to battery park. The breakfast was also decent and included hot food items that were refilled throughout breakfast service. It was a nice touch that our room included a kitchenette with dishes which came in handy our takeout meals. The staff were also very polite and very helpful. I will definitely consider staying here again for my next trip to NYC.

Ideal location if you want to be directly in the centre of the Financial district. Fairly quiet area too. Helpful having a microwave and sink in the room. Great breakfast offering a decent selection, some meats, eggs, porridge, yoghurts etc. Elevators sometimes a little slow getting to your floor but fast enough using them.

Location was easy to get to either by Bus or train. Parking lot next to hotel was great. Parked car and left it there for three days and kust used public transportation. 24 hour cafe 2 min walk from hotel. Will stay again.

We spent 5 days in this hotel. It was clean, the staff were helpful and courteous, and the location was excellent for Subway and the NY Ferry. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was good, but in my opinion, a thermos of hot milk, various cereals (muesli), and some croissants should be added. Considering the area and the services, I found the value for money to be very good.

The most unsatisfying thing is the breakfast dinning. 7days no change or variety. Omelet was forever egg cake folded in half with one piece cheese inside. Fruit selection was apple, orange banana only . No ham, no cheese,no non diary milk, concentrated juice only. The worst was the dinning room stuff all wearing their own individual T-shirt and runners, speaking, Mandarin or Cantonese gossiping about hotel customers.

Breakfast is good, if a bit crowded. Checking in, the front desk didn't inform us of any of the amenities/locations (breakfast, gym, laundry, rooftop access), but we found everything ourselves. There are 2 elevators, so wait for the elevator could get long during peak times. But overall a great stay in a great location.

The staff was nice but we had many issues The smell outside the hotel was horrible Internet slow , u have the choise to pay extra if you want faster internet. Elevator was horrible, it would take up to 30 min wait to get the elevator Breakfast with paper plates and plastic utensils not ideal, I got a room w kitchen but a fridge and 3 plates is not kitchen , i checked this bc the next time i wanted to visit to be able to cook something quick instead of eating outside all the time. Reception area to ask a question u need to wait a lot many times, phone in the room don’t even work , I had to call reception from my cell. Not a great stay overall unfortunately
